units in a very short timeframe, I was not offered a refund. Instead, I was only shown more expensive alternatives due to space constraints, leaving me $500 out of pocket just to get a working fridge.
When I raised the issue, I was told to deal with the manufacturer rather than being supported by the store, and the response was dismissive.
Two faulty fridges, financial loss, and no meaningful resolution offered. I have now escalated this matter.

afternoon (1-until finished) delivery, with no exceptions. I chose the morning delivery schedule for Thurs due to work commitments and paid $100 for this delivery. On the day of the delivery, I called the store at 11am as I have not received any call or information about the delivery. I was then told by the store staff that the morning delivery is between 9-1pm, which was a different information I was given at the store. I was then told that there must be a delay and the item would be delivered maybe in 2 hours. I waited more and by 1pm, the item was not delivered yet. No information from the delivery team about the delay so I called the store staff again and asked where the delivery staff were as I have to go to work and how come there was no call from their staff to inform the customers of this delay, which the store staff cannot answer. I had to call my partner to come home to receive the delivery so I can go to work. When the item was delivered at 2pm, my partner stated that the delivery staff were rude and just dumped the item and walked out without any apologies or explanation. The customer service is lacking and there should be more training for the delivery people with regards to communication delays. Because of this experience, we will not support Joyce Mayne store in the future.

Not advised item is unavailable – Ordered online and my order status said “backordered”. Sent email about when item in stock, 9 days later no response. Went to online chat, was told they couldn’t confirm and would check with store, another 2-5 working days. sent inquiring about this, because it was titled very, very unhappy customer, which tells me they do not want to deal with complaints & have had many. The most frustrating part of this is that they waited until the Black Friday prices were over before cancelling, robbing us of the chance to buy elsewhere at Black Friday prices. I assume they were trying to scam us to pay full price, however this will not be the case. I think if you wish to purchase from Joyce Mayne, if you do not live in a remote location, such as we do, shop inshore. We have not had problems when doing this, however, be warned that they are part of the Harvey Norman chain, which I do not recommend under any circumstances, as even shopping in person at Harvey Norman does not save you from being scammed, as they will tell you that they are "giving" you some computer accessories for free when purchasing a computer & give you almost no choice within their chosen options, then charge you anyway, so do not fall for being railroaded into accessories they chose.
If you’re a woman don’t shop here – If I could give this company, no, stars, I would. The male salesmen in the store at Maroochydore are rude and condescending and talk over the top of women. I questioned the cashier who said something about a problem, and then refunded my payment. Seemed no one wanted to discuss it' I had seen dozens of these items in a heap a few days before and was intrigued only a few were left. I only lived a few K's from JM so a prompt return was easy but wonder how many had already been returned, and how many buyers lived too far away and simply took their lumps. At $68 per time JM looked to make hundreds of easy dollars selling an item which should never have been on display. Poor Form Joyce Mayne.

Easy return of faulty stick vacuum – I was assisted by Tri who was extremely helpful and arranged the return and credit note for my Bosch stick vacuum which stopped working whilst still under warranty. and they weren't very good so went back on Saturday and tried to order the 8.5kg but, as it was Easter, different salesman said he would phone F & P on Tuesday and let me know when the next order was planned. I switched from the LG to the F&P 10kg but changed the day of delivery to Wednesday to give some time for finding out about the 8.5kg. No one rang so I rang them Wed, 9.13am 20/4/22, to be told F&P had no idea when 8.5kgs would be avlb. Sales rep said tried to phone me twice. I have no missed calls registered. I spoke to the new manager/proprietor on Wed 20/4/22 @ 9.22am who told me the same thing. When I said I would cancel the order and regroup he suddenly noticed 6 had been loaded Tuesday at about 7.25am. Told @ 12.11pm machines had arrived, delivery Thursday ( 21/4/2022) Text advised delivery between 2 and 5.00pm 21/4/22. No 2nd text. I rang at 4.17pm and was told all deliveries will be done even after 5.00pm. At 5.14pm was advised tree had fallen on truck in the morning and warehouse had been calling everyone. But not me. I will never buy another thing from Joyce Mayne Sth Nowra. I will collect my $200 credit and buy all my kitchen appliances elsewhere.

I have asked for a refund but doubt it will be forthcoming especially after my experience with dealing with my local Harvey Norman store which is why I put the order through Joyce Mayne thinking that they were a different company.
