The "END OF BUNNING " – What a rubbish. I just put one together...Fu...Bunnings I called out 130 times. A roll of toilet paper would have been better as assembly instructions. Going back to get a refund... Bunnings you start selling stuff not worth the $. Harry Show details
Rusted out after 8 months – You get what you pay for. Bought from Bunnings. Been kept under cover but sides rusted out. Difficult to light burners. Contacted Jambuck to ask why it rusted so quickly. They just referred me to Bunnings without answering question. Finally took it to the tip. Show details
Fire hazard – the BBQ itself is ok, as long as it isn't too windy I havent had any issues, works well enough for the price I've had it for nearly 2 years BUT was cooking a roast on the weekend the the hood itelf managed to catch and the whole thing went up in flames, seems like the paint coating itself is flamable which is very dangerous Show details
Dangerous fire hazard – I feel terrible as it was a gift to me. it rusted out after less than a month and it's frame is dangerously flimsy and the grill was prone to flare ups, the hotplate itself takes ages to come to temped. it's a nightmare to clean and the fat tray is inadequate. After having it for only about 3 years of use it caught fire and the actual BBQ itself was alight. It's now ruined. Show details
Terrible – After twenty minutes on high can still hold my hand above plate or grill for twenty seconds. Terrible for grilling anything. Lights in dials went out the week I bought it. Only gets one star because it won’t allow me none. Show details
Jumbuck 4 burner hooded bbq – Bought from Bunnings start of 2018. Had no issues with it to start with cooked ok, and worked well. It is a nightmare to clean as the GREASE tray has little in it but leaks all over the ground and down the frames. Poorly made will not be buying another one of these brands. Hope it dose not catch fire. Show details
Just what we wanted – We were looking for a bbq that didn’t break the bank but cooked good food and we found it. It was simple to build easy to start and also lightweight so we could move it into the shed when not using it. All the food we have cooked on it has cooked well and tasted great. The storage shelf underneath is handy to. All in all very happy with our purchase. Show details

Basic product but good – I've been using a very old bbq for some time so this product is a great improvement. It is only basic but if that's what you are after then this is the product for you. It has a grill and a normal hot place which allows variety with your cooking. Show details
So simple and very good – We bought a bbq which we didnt want to be expensive as we couldnt affort but it resulted to be a very good one. It very easy to use and clean also. We use it mostly on week ends and havr lived the food cooked there. And it does get warm quickly. Show details
Love my BBQ – Unbelievable bbq . So easy to use, easy to clean, a total must have, great value for money. We use ours nearly every weekend in summer and even in winter, the hood also means it keeps in all juices and flavour of meat within the bbq. A must have for any family, great value for any family, easy to cater to everyone's needs Show details
Sticker on BBQ – Great BBQ, BUT it took me 40 minutes to get the sticker off. Pulled the sticker off and the backing of the sticker stayed put. So frustrating Show details
Best BBQ I've had in over 10 years – This is the best BBQ i've had in over 10 years. I bought one similar & it keep flaming out & wouldn't relight - very dangerous. This Jumbuck has worked perfectly from day one & cooks excellently as well especially on flat plate. Got it from Bunnings for about $200.00 it was half the price of the other one I took back. Terrible – Used it three times catches on fire on the burner controls on outside of bbq rang bunnings said i have to return it but have no way of getting an assembled bbq back to them. Have to wait for somebody with a trailor to help me then the reciept of purchase has faded and can't be read so when i take it back they had better honor it. Show details
Don't cook your money – Had a 4burner flat plate for 10yrs..Awesome... Had a 4burner hooded for a week.. Steel is way to thick to cook on at "normal" BBQ speed..Unless your looking for an alternative to a Webber do'nt waste your money... Highly recommend the 4burner flat plate though... Happy BBQING on a flat plate... Show details
Caught Fire Keep A Fire Blanket Handy – Our Jumbuck 4 Burner from Bunnings went up in smoke last night. Hubby cooked fine on it the night before and just as he went to put the food on it last night a raging fireball developed will be contacting Jumbuck and getting a refund plus it cooks your food terrible.
Good, Cheap, does the job – Bought the Jumbuck 4 Burner Ardent from Bunnings - $179 Cant go past it at that price , especially when modified to flame grill. I drilled abut a dozen 12 mm holes in the gas cover spats to get more flame up when cooking steaks, it works well, add olive oil to the mix and its like Nandos. I don't expect it to last more than 2 years, not the… Read more
way I cook on it. Change the drip pan contents regularly to prevent it from burning to the ground (like my last one)
Enjoy!
drips fat – Brand new Jumbuck four burner that drips fat all over the gas bottle and beyond the catching tray. I have moved the tray several times but the fat traverses along the structure and drips on to the ground and the base frame. Wouldn't you think they'd test it before selling it. Never again
Rust rust and more rust! – Bought this Jumbuck from Bunnings for $100 after my Patiomaster after 4 years of constant barbecuing decided to pack it in. Put together quite easily and first couple of cooks wasn't too bad although a bit of uneven heat. Copped a bit of rain in the second week of purchase and within days the grill, hot plate, the gas fittings and screws were… Read more
rusting. I was so disappointed only after 10 days it was already showing signs of corrosion. What a waste of $100. Never again will I buy!
Great value for money – Let's face it, it's a $100 Chinese made bbq so you get what you pay for. But I've been very impressed. While the assembly instructions were a little cryptic it otherwise wasn't that hard to assemble and all the parts fitted ok. After a burn in period in accordance with the manual she was ready to go and I have to say she cooks very well. I'd… Read more
suggest based on the bbq's construction that it needs to remain under cover, out of the weather when not in use. Additionally I suggest that she needs to be kept clean to avoid corrosion from fatty acids etc. It is verybeasy to clean.
With a little TLC I expect a long life from this bbq and if you keep in mind that it was only $100 and as such it could give you great value for money.
I like this bbq.
Have a fire extinguisher ready – Oil fires can flush up pretty quickly if you don't clean the drip trap every time. Never had a bbq like it. Avoid at all costs.
For a little over $100, you can't go wrong – I had one of these for 9 years which was abused and left out in the weather yet still served me proud until it finally bit the dust. Obviously for the price, you're not going to get the best quality materials on the market and mine finally gave into rust and the gas stuff started to get a little dodgy, but hey - it cost me all of $15 per year to… Read more
own.
As far as cooking, it cooks just fine - the cast iron is invincible and you've just got to heat it up for a good 5-10 minutes before you throw anything on it.

Cheap & Nasty – Even though it was cheap I still would expect to be able to assemble without modifications.. Burners are slow. Spend a few more dollars and get something decent. Give this one a wide berth.
Wrong parts – I bought this bbq for my partner. After an hour of putting it together in the last steps noticed they had given us to left parts for the hood. Christmas present fail. Not happy
Very slow – This BBQ is as slow as to cook even our friends comment on how slow it is. I think I'm gunna take it to the second hand place and sell it. The last BBQ I had for about 20 years was great but just wore out. It also was a cheapie a Jackeroo about $100 as well it was good hot and fast Nothing but it is a cheap one SLOW and doesnt get very hot
Awesome BBQ – This BBQ is great. One can sear steaks ,chops , skewers, etc, then turn the heat down and shut the lid for a nice slow cook.Uses less gas to cook snags that way.Use a stone to cook pizza on high.Sweet potato sliced up goes well with oil and salt.I clean up with salt, and paper towels.Spray oil the plate after use. Must be burned in before first… Read more
