Worst product and even worse service! They don’t even meet code according to the screen association! Our security doors have never worked properly the locks don’t work and door fell off the hinges. Person from Screen Association said they could easily be removed. Don't waist your money.

This is the 3rd time we have used the company to install shutters. The whole process from Quotation, check measure on one window and installation was great. Highly recommend the service and the product.

My daughter told me that she needed a new screen door due to much damage by dogs. She went to the hardware and was shocked at the price she was quoted. I recommended that she should get a quote from K & B. She was delighted to receive her quote, it was half the price of the hardware store who weren't interested in going out to measure or fit. Nightmare – Not good! Disorganised communication when were going to arrive had to change my work around it then they didn't arrive then they did with scratch on one of the screens, then took screens back had to wait a month before screen came back then wrong colour screws were installed and the wrong trim was attached to the screens so now they've come back… Read more

and put the screen on minus the scratch but now it doesn't fit properly and I still don't have my black trim or matching screws.this is taken over three months . I can't comprehend the lack of organisation and communication it's next -level , so very disappointed can't express how unbelievably disorganised they are. The actual blokes that do the install are great and very apologetic. but whoever runs the show has no idea and totally incompetent at running a business

went back. Third time lucky! This company offers no service - they say they’ll do something and they don’t. They say they’ll call you back and they don’t. They don’t apologise for any wrong doing…. Gees they won’t even pick up the phone! This was a very stressful company do deal with - don’t do it. I still haven’t finalised my account and STILL they won’t pick up the phone. Terrible! My one star was for the installer (nice guy).

Security doors that do not stand the test of time, paired with poor after-sales support – I'd love to support a Logan based business, but I can't recommend K&B Security Doors. (a wait of over a month). When the cheque has cleared, this business doesn't care, and you're left with a product that will probably break on you.

K&B Security will probably give you a cheaper price, but you will end up paying for a faulty product and poor aftersales support if you choose them.

EDIT: K&B Security asked me to reach out to them for a resolution. Instead of providing one, they doubled down on their timeline (i.e. sometime in the future, over a month away, and not even able to commit to a hard date).

They also advised me that the locking mechanisms on their doors are only expected to last for 12 months, and I would be footing a $100 repair fee to get it looked at. As this is a clear violation of consumer law (no reasonable customer would purchase a security door expecting it to only be able to lock for 12 months), I've submitted a complaint about K&B Security to the Queensland Office of Fair Trading and the ACCC.

Would strongly recommend staying away from this company.

K&B Security Doors and Shutters have supplied and professionally installed all the plantation shutters throughout our home on the Gold Coast. We enjoy the enormous flexibility of privacy and light control at the touch of a finger. Their product quality is just great and service provision is second to none. Thank you K&B. J. & S.

Organising hard mesh screens with K&B was so easy for my fiance's property. Measurements were done at my convenience and turn around time for making and installing was faster than we expected. The price was way less than we had anticipated. I will sing from the rooftops about how satisfied we are with the professionalism and punctuality of all involved at K&B. External Shutters and Security screens – I had purchased exterior shutters for my outdoor area a few years ago and was so happy with the workmanship and the ease of dealing with these guys that I have recently got security screens put on my windows and once again everything went like clock work. Prompt, knowledgeable and reasonably priced – Ed turned up and measured up for the shutters we wanted to install. He knew what he was doing and came up with some different ways of achieving the best job.
