3 robbie  · It only lasted 2 years and 3 months, not 5 to 10 years . The output and power was satisfactory for use in a small room
2 Look into my e.  · Not so good – The room temperature display is incorrect. This is the second fan if this model that is doing the same thing.
1 Rose  · Do not buy. Weak – The 20 dollar kmart fan is stronger…. Soooo disappointing and should not be priced for 100, more like 10
3 Мила П.  · we are disappointed – we have the same problem, every few minutes it makes a sound (squeak). We don't know what to do.

Not Powerful like a Pedestal Fan, Rather a Compact, Quiet Acheiver – This fan has a very fancy name - Arctic Cooling Advantage. But this name is totally misleading as there is nothing advantageous nor cooling about it. Its good points are that its perfect for small space and its definitely very quiet. The LCD display lets you know the current settings at the push of a button and displays the room temperature as… Read more

well; not that it can do anything about that. It definitely doesnt do anything more than any basic 40cm pedestal fan does and unfortunately is nowhere near as powerful. So hopeless in a mid or large sized room. However this fan has provided many years of service and has been recently rejuvinated by removing the back and cleaning all the accumulated dust off the fan and the insides of the casing (which is a good safety and performance measure). Hence the 3 stars. But nothing more. As others have said, its rather overpriced ($130 in Jan 2024) for what is really just a basic fan and nothing more. Better to buy a much cheaper and much better performing 40cm pedestal fan, but get one with the solid round base. It will last much longer!

Lit on fire… – Lol similar to review below. JB hi-fi also rejected my review. I sleep with the fan on, I always have and have gone through different kinds of fans. I wanted something bigger and with a remote so got this. It was working well and I was happy with it. It was quiet for me and it kepts me cool…until One day, I got woken by a sound but couldnt figure… Read more

out what it was from so didnt think think much of it so tried to go back to sleep, but then I could smell a sort of burning smell in my room… it was coming from this fan. I thought it just overheated so unplugged it and put the fan outside in the hallway to cool down, but this was where our smoke alarm is and less than 2 minutes later the smoke alarm went of. This fan didnt just overheat, it literally lit on fire…with flames! We extinguished with water and when we did the plastic of this fan fell apart and the inside was revealed. It appears that the power cord runs inside of the fan but got worn down by why knows what (i think maybe if you oscillate it rubs on the cord ), and then the fan sparked and created an electrical fire? Lucky I’m a light sleeper, otherwise my house could have caught on fire and I could have slept through it. Literally a matter of life or death.

I had moved house since buying the fan so all warranties etc were lost but I think I had it for maybe just 1 year.

DO NOT BUY THIS FAN.

Great for cooling Bedrooms fast on hot and humid summer nights! – I'm more than happy with this sleek, quiet oscillating fan, with 3 speed settings for Cooling or Heating with a LED temperature display and aded Remote Control. It is great in cooling bedrooms fast on hot humid nights here in QLD, as well as the bathroom when trying to put on makeup! It doesn't take up a lot of space, and its also great for… Read more

heating the bathrooms on those chilly mornings when getting out of the shower. Only reason I bought the fan is seeing it at the hospital where I work, which has had them for a few years now and still working. It is better, quieter and cheaper than my now dead Ceiling Fan ... I would highly recommend

A fan of this fan! – This fan is terrific for the price. Oscillation, timer and not-too-loud volume are perfect features for Summer nights. Even better, I can crank up the speed to block out street noise and know that it will switch itself off after I have fallen asleep. It keeps me perfectly cool with a fraction of the cost of aircon. My dog sits in front of it on hot days and won't budge!! Show details

Blew up after 1 month of use – Since JBHIFI wants to reject my review, ill put it here. Fan was actually good for the 1 month I got to use it, was quiet enough on lowest setting. Used it about 10-15 day time sessions and 3-4 nights and on the last night it blew up at 4am, stopped working and filled my room with the smell of burning plastic. Taking it back under warranty. Show details

Total Failure. Waste Of Money –  I purchased the 90cmc tall Kambrook Artic Cooling Advantage for my small 8 square metre home office.  I don't understand why there's a temperature display when it shows the 27° room temperature before I turned the power on and continues to show 27° after running it for over 70 minutes. All it does is to circulate the hot air. I have to sit within… Read more

50cms of it to feel the breeze it creates, but all it's doing is to circulate the hot air. I'm literally sitting here sweating. To say it's totally useless is a compliment. What a waste of money, when my ceiling fan is more effective.  I feel they have described their product fraudulently and when using terms like "Artic Cooling Advantage", it falsely advertises their product.

after a year has issues & stops working - confirmed – Stay clear from buying this fan. Rapidly switches modes by itself and makes that annoying beeping sound constantly. Complete and utter trash. Won't be buying any kambrook products ever again. Show details

Might be a faulty individual model but – The fan sparked and stopped working the second time it was plugged in. I will be taking it back today. I couldn’t recommend this, it didn’t even last three hours! Show details

This fan is not suitable if you are looking for a larger room – This fan is not suitable if the room size is big or expecting wide coverage. Recommended only if you want to use it for single person in a small room to save space. Hence it returned it back to Good Guys with no hassles. Show details

Perfect Solution for Summer – I am definitely satisfied with the product and does the job as promised, This was the best fan for option as it is not loud and it doesn't occupy space. its a perfect fan for modern style living, Functionality wise it has a very good remote and a space to rest when not needed. I would really recommend the Kambrook brand.  Show details

Not recommended! – Bought one- stopped working first week. Back for exchange. Very limited output and range. Does not keep air moving in one medium sized bedroom. Tower Design quite trendy but not efficient or worth the cost. Disappointed overall and would not purchase again given the choice! Old fashioned design much better!  Show details

Quiet and stylish fan – It is a fairly quiet fan that have several speed and wind settings. It is kind of handy with the remote control. It is of a decent height to blow wind across our living room. The Price is reasonable with good quality. The indicator is rather clear from far. When it is not on, it tells us the room temperature for our children bedroom. It is quite stylish looking too.  Show details

This is perfect – First of all, I can not find the product of Costco, so I leave a review on the product that is as similar as possible. Wind power and turning rate are thought to vary depending on motor performance. Basically it is better than a regular fan. I wouldn't recommend the only baby run around or around. The fan will fall right before it breaks down.  Show details

Great product def recommend – It is a smart design with such a powerful engine taking so little space. I enjoyed it fully and I think it worths the price. The fan does make much noise at all which leave you at peace when you have it on overnight. Highly recommend to anyone thinking buying, worth the money  Show details

Works like a charm! – Was given this as a gift and the cold air that comes out of it is amazing! I have never come across a fan that blows such cold air. I love the LED display and the changeable settings as well as the timer that can be set if you leave the house or keep on during the night.  Show details

Good for the first 6 months – The Kambrook KFA837 is good, but mine only lasted 6 months. It is quiet, lightweight, and has good oscillation and the ability to set a timer from 1hr-8hr long, which is beneficial. However, my fan only lasted 6 months before it stopped working. The oscillation stopped, and then the actual fan/motor stopped. I read online that this is quite common… Read more

in dusty environments. Compared to a normal fan that is higher from the ground, it makes sense that dust and particles could impact this fan more due to its closer proximity to the ground. Other than this issue, it served us well as a good fan.

Perfect fan for those who live in a small apartment – Great fan for a small apartment. Currently use it in my studio apartment at uni as we have no aircon. It works just as well as an aircon and is super quiet. I would highly recommend this product. The remote feature is also handy for lazy people like me who dont like getting out of bed  Show details

good – The fan is good but make noise especially when we sleep can not leave it on. But the function is good such as timing, turning, different levels. And what is better it has remote control is very convenient. I reckon it's not electric saving product and the fan's power is medium.  Show details

Excellent tower fan – I bought this tower fan in replacement of a normal fan. This product is surprisingly awesome and excellent built. The price is decent and not very expensive though. It has oscillation and speed control. Also allows you to choose the type of air quality you prefer based on the time of the day. Highly recommended  Show details

Pretty good product – It gives out air however i was displeased by the fact that it is not enough to keep the entire room cool during summer. Otherwise...it is a good value for the money since it looks sleek. Thougj, I would say a normal fan would keep the room cooler than this machine.  Show details

Good fan, but bit noisy – I think the power of the fan is good, but it does rattle a bit occasionally which is quite noisy. For the price I think you could get a better fan, but it is not bad. I find the low setting is enough power to keep the bedroom cool in summer, and we put it on a higher setting for the living room.  Show details

Very quiet – I will never go back to pedestal fan after having this tower fan,I like the quietness of this fan,I have it on all night during the hot summer nights and it doesnt annoy anyone. It doesn't take any room and it is very light which makes it easy to move. Having a remote control is s bonus  Show details

Excellent fan.. can't live without it! – This is an excellent fan that keeps me cool all summer. Its super reliable and pretty quiet too. It really cools you down fast and its a great alternative to using the aircon all night. A major plus is its easy to store and doesn't take up too much space in a room  Show details

Good but with some flaws – Bought this for the bedroom. Pros: - good oscillating function - remote control is handy for operating this - the low speed is low and the high speed is really strong (good for quick cooldowns) - nice design Cons: - the blue display can't be turned off, which makes it difficult to sleep at night (have to unplug) - the base isn't so… Read more

heavy, so if you bump into it too hard it may topple

- the cable at the bottom always goes out of the alignment hole in the base, which is a constant small annoyance

Overall I'd say if you care about sleep go for another model without the harsh blue light display, but if not then it's a perfectly good model.

Does provide cool air with a good flow – You do feel a cooling sensation with this fan that is more than just pushing air around. It does have longevity issues as we replaced ours within the first 2 months. The most annoying thing about this fan is as another reviewer has mentioned, there are annoying beep sounds when you change any of the functions. This is most irritating overnight. My… Read more

personal pet hate is that the LCD screen lights up the entire room on changing functions as well. This is terrible when you're using the fan in a room with a child.

Avoid – Was great while it lasted. Which was 2 seasons of minimal use. I loved it. But plugged it in last night for the first time in 12 months and the oscillation doesn't work. Just like that. Makes a clicking noise and won't move. Stuck. I'm really annoyed - it's basically brand new. Rang Kambrook help today and was fobbed off with the usual it's not worth fixing, it'll cost you $60 just for a tech to look at it blah blah see ya later. Not happy.  Show details

Not working - just short of 2 years old – Was good while it lasted. Warranty was only for 12 months. Judging by other comments here, I guess I'm lucky to have had it last that long. Was dubious about the Kambrook name. And now I remain even more so. I will not buy Kambrook products again and suggest others do not either!  Show details
