Unsatisfied customer their good at taking yr 100$ for crap – Temperature wont go down why bought it yesterday for goodguys Casula who were rude
idk what to write – Hey there does anyone know why mine might not be working ?I can turn it on it just won’t work?Cheers
Beeping and buttons don’t work, only use remote to make it function – Had this for a couple of years and was fine until recently. Now it beeps for no reason when on stand by and none of the buttons function anymore. The only way I can use it is with the remote. The beeping is annoying but I can put up with it. The buttons not working is nasty. Only using the remote now. If anyone can advise, let me know. One thing is for sure, none of us will be buying Kambrook again that is for sure.
Just outside of warranty it becomes unusable – Just outside of the warranty window our fan has started randomly beeping and changing settings on its own. Jumping from different modes and fan speeds. Despite the fan still working perfectly its now unusable as the noise from the beeping and changing settings is so loud and annoying. Not worth the cost for a fan that only worked for a year. No frills tower fan – Works well and does the job. It's not going to cool the room down on a hot day obviously as it is only capable of pushing air around the room. So don't expect it to reduce the temperature of the room. It's not great if you're after any kind of subtlety. I got it for the nursery but brought it back to my room after we realise its buttons are… Read more
really loud and the blue display light is extremely jarring in a dark room. Even I found it disturbing for night use, I cant blame my baby for waking up in the middle of the night and being distracted by it.
Waste of money – Looks the part, but doesn't play it. Was expecting arctic air of some sort, as in the name. No luck though, as you cannot adjust temp. Couldn't find any info in manual anywhere regarding this.Temp on display says 30 degrees, after an hour on, now says 31. Have brought out my 10 year old pedestal fan to help. Show details
Good looking, but Short lifespan – I did like this tower fan, it is good looking and serves the purpose for a few years. I have three of this fan in my home, running ducted aircond can be very expensive. Review revision: disappointed due to short lifespan, around under 3 years. BAD: 1. the led light i find too bright during the night,. I have resorted to covering it with a tape.… Read more
2. After using this fan for almost 2years, it is now beeping and turning itself on and off during stand by! Very annoying especially as it woke me up during sleep. It is a write off as it passed the warranty period. Theres no repair by kambrook.
Loose wire on fan – I fixed my fan by soldering the loose wire on the fan motor. Apart from that I can write about what crap quality control, if any, was performed on this product. I will never buy a Kambrook product again, unless you give away free cash with every product sold. Show details
REALLY UNHAPPY! – Got one for Christmas, the thing has failed completely after 1 month and 30 days! Nothing works, no electricity is flowing. It was lovely while it worked but failing after just 2 months, when an ordinary fan is $11 is really rough. Kambrook customer services is unhelpful too. Grumpy and unhappy, me.
works well – Happy with the fan. Is quiet so great at night. Feel it could be a bit stronger.. full speed still pretty subtle but perfect for having on overnight or in living room. not invasive. bit wobbly on the stand but that may have something to do with the way i put it together! overall is good value for money and seems to work well so far. I love the different programs and the timer function.
Cooling – It's surpringly cool the air and very light to shift around the house. However, it's not as quiet as others have claimed but still quieter than many traditional fans. Definitely a product worth considering and the price was a bonus! Wait for Myer sale as I got it 20% cheaper than RRP.
Good value for money – I am really happy with my KFA835 fans (black). It is reasonably quiet, looks good (LCD display), great as a portable fan ie moving it around the house (the handle is handy), comes with a remote control but most of all, the gaps in the plastic were small enough for a 3 year old not to stick her fingers though. The only downside is that it is a… Read more
little wobbly - perhaps a slightly larger base may have solved that. Overall though, I am happy with my purchase.

Much quieter and better than others – We were looking for a quiter fan for the bedroom we can keep on at night as our not so cheap Dyson hot and cool is too loud for the bedroom. Bought the fan after reading the reviews and happy with it. It does give cool air and cools a room quickly when oscillating. The fan also looks good anywhere in the house because it black and slim that it… Read more
will blend in anywhere. Drawbacks, it's too low and we had to raise it up on a stool because the cool air doesn't reach us in bed; lcd screen is too bright at night that we had to put something over it, will be good in a child/baby's room if you want a quiet fan and dim light together; It's only quiet on the lowest setting.
Amazingly quiet, nice features and moves a decent amount of air – Nice premium fan, good feature set and really happy with the air it moves and how little noise it makes. It's really quiet even on high, feels quality made and I'm happy with the price. One tiny negative is that it's a tiny bit wobbly, however it not enough to make it fall over and not enough to cause any issues during operation. Really happy with it and made the decision to buy after reading all the reviews here.
Very pleased – I bought this from The Good Guys last week for $75. It is quiet, very effective & safe for my 19 month old. Being tall & slim it has the potential of being knocked over but after her initial curiosity she hasn't touched it even though it's in her bedroom. quiet, safe Kids could knock it over
Awesome fan and awesome service from the GOOD GUYS – Just purchased the Kambrook KFA835. Great fan but even better service from the GOOD GUYS on line. It was delivered the next day for only $2.00. I live in Ballarat and they were out so it had to come from some distance away. Can't beat that service. Fan is cool and quiet and remote controlled. Great buy.
Super quiet! – My son has had this fan for over a year and loves it. My Sunbeam tower fan just died, so I purchased the Kambrook KFA835 from The Good Guys online for $79 with $2.00 delivery. I paid $99 for my son's from Target in 2012. This fan is so quiet which is great, also quite powerful. I haven't used the 'nature' or 'reduction' modes as yet, but the regular setting seems just fine. Very happy with this purchase. So quiet Nothing so far
Great little work horse – Wow what a buy, cannot believe the cold air this little monstrosity is producing. Laying on the couch at present and this tower is blowing a beautiful rate of the most pleasant air I've ever had blown on me. Very happy and would recommend to anyone with any hesitation whatsoever!
Whisper Quiet – On low speed this unit is barely noticeable. Often times I forget that it is on until walking past and feeling the breeze. There are a few functions that alternate various speeds to create a 'nature;' air flow but I think these are a bit gimmicky. There is a handy remote with big buttons. Quietness
Lots of compliments – Most visitors to my place do not notice this fan sitting snugly in the corner of my lounge. This is because it is so quiet but mainly because of the design; it blends in next to the TV almost looking like a speaker and is great at taking up minimal floor space in a compact apartment such as mine. Once noticed, lots of compliments are thrown my way… Read more
on how great it looks but also how effective the fan is, with most visitors wanting to know where I purchased it - and then quite surprised at the affordability Quiet & appealing space saving design Not a con really, more a recommendation that it wouldn't really suit a bedroom unless you elevated it to be the same height as the bed for its full effect to be felt
Quiet and good looking fan – I tested all the fans in the store, this is the quietest fan i could find, even those fancy $300 Dyson Air Multiplier are noisier than this. It uses the same drum fan as found in the split air condition units. At the lowest setting it is very quiet, but not silent, perfect for a bed room fan. If you run it in it gets quieter. It has remote,… Read more · 1
auto oscillation and timer off.
There are fan profiles such as random wind, and Reduction mode, which I don't really ever use.
The height of air flow is only 70cm above the ground, this is fine for a bed or couch, but its a bit too low if your standing or in a chair, but I put it on a box if i need extra height.
The biggest problem with it is the LCD back light, when i use this at night the light is very bright, but i just cover the screen with insulation tape, since you don't really need to look at it.
I like this because it does not look like an ugly white fan, when people come over don't know what it is. Quiet, looks good Screen back light cant be switched off. low height.
