No spare batteries or parts available form purchase from karcher it seems.

Ive given up on mine. Expensive lesson. Which outlet did you get it through?

i literally just picked mine up today from repair for the same issue. charged it up and now i have to take it back

A gift from my son, used not three times and no charging. Wow.

Same just happened to us. Used it three times now it is dead.

Fortunately HN offered refund, no hassle. So can't complain about the service.

Just had same problem and ordered a Karcher charger to see if it’s that or the actual floor cleaner… ours only a matter of six months or so old… we shall see!

Just picked up a second replacement today myself with the other two units failing for the same reason. There must be a reason this keeps happening?

As far as I know there is no way to adjust . I would return it.

You are entitled to return it to the retailer as is.. karcher’s owners manual says you shouldn’t disassemble the handle so that suggests it is not possible to return in the original packaging. I took mine back to Harvey Norman and they dealt with Karcher and processed a full refund within a few days (I didn’t want a repair or replacement as the unit clearly has a manufacturing fault). Mine is doing the same. This is the 2nd Karcher Fc7. The first one failed after 5 months, the rollers stopped working. Harvey Norman in Hoppers Crossing sent it off for repairs. About 6 weeks later I got it back, and what a state it was in. The repairer had engraved some numbers in behind the water tank and the top panels were all scratched up to the point I thought I was given a reconditioned machine, but then we checked the serial number and it was the same. I said I wasn't accepting it back, and Harvey Norman said they had to get on to Karcher. I then received a replacement. Now 22 months later the machine is beeping min water, but the water tank is full. I rang up Karcher and have been told that the machine is out of warranty. I said but I haven't had it 2 years yet, and then I was told the warranty goes off the date of original purchase. I said to the lady from Karcher I should have asked for my money back then and repurchased. I won't be touching Karcher products again. Might try the dyson mop instead, it appears to have a lot of positive reviews, compared to reading about all the faults with the Karcher floor mop.

Mine was with the repair agent fo 6 weeks. When I followed up with them to find out why it was taking so long I was told there was nothing wrong with the machine and they did not need to do repairs. They said they were waiting for Harvey Norman to collect it and Harvey Norman said it was the repair agent’s responsibility to return it to me. After waiting another fortnight and much buck passing by both companies I ended up collecting it myself (over an hours drive away). The Karcher worked perfectly and hasn’t missed a beat since - fingers crossed.

So it’s not a stream mop. It just has four rollers that spin that are wet for sweeping up dirt whilst cleaning. I have laminated flooring. My boards are not 100% waterproof but the FC7 doesn’t use much water. That is doesn’t leave floor as wet as a mop. If you don’t mop your floors currently and use a micro cloth or something, that’s probably a lot of effort and you’ll get sick of that, just use the FC 7, much easier

I’ve never used a steam mop, but if you have hair or dirt on the floor what happens there? The FC7 cleans and removes hair etc in one go

Suggest put a bbq mat down

It doesn’t have suction, the rollers pick up everything into the catcher

no suction,but does a awesome job cleaning

Joelle S. I notice in your review you say it is a vacuum/mop. In your reply to my question you say it has no suction. Is it a vacuum/ mop or just a sweeper/mop.

If I purchase the Karcher hard floor cleaner from Harvey Norman or Myers, will you still give me the 60 day free trial with money back guarantee if not happy. The reason being is if I buy from your website and not happy snd send it back it will be quite expensive to post to you.
