What the heck?! Hadn't had these since childhood. Decided to buy a box. My god. They should be banned from the shelves. Shrivelled little bland balls of nothing. Yet another company that decided to short change their customers, cut costs, decimate the product and pretend nothing has changed. Shameful. This is a wretched world we live in.

Any claim that this new Coco Pops taste good is a joke. They tastes terrible. They changed the formula. I just feel sorry for this new generation because they will never know how GOOD THE OLD COCO POPS TASTED. Show details

Just purchased first Box of Coco pops in about 20 years, as they were on special. What a disappointment. They are nothing like Coco pops. Apart from their micro size, the chocolate coating washes straight off, so you're left with mini rice bubbles in a sort of choc lite milk. Horrible and never again for another 20 years if they're still around

Follow-up  · While still not the greatest, the Similar product I purchased at ALDI were made in Europe and were a slight improvement. I will not purchase these again. I haven't found any cereals from yesteryear available and the few that are advertised are just flavourless facsimiles. Better off sticking to my coffee.

No longer a chocolate milkshake – I’m sad to give a bad review on Kellogg’s as I’ve loved (and still do) many of their breakfast cereals for over 50 years. The Coco Pops have sadly lost that "chocolate milkshake" taste. Are they using less chocolate? Show details

Worst breakfast item – It’s not even close to their conventional cone flakes. The sizes what shown in picture don’t even match 1/8 of it. Taste 1 of 5 Value for money 1 of 5

Lovely tasting! – I have been an occasional eater of coco pops in the past. But I have started to eat them more since the new recipe has changed. Although it’s true the old recipe tasted better due to the high sugar content...I don’t really mind that Kellogg’s has changed the recipe to make it more healthier, plus it still tastes good... It’s really hard to find… Read more

something that tastes good but still healthy. So I’m grateful that Kellogg’s has made this change.

Due to the public making so many complaints regarding the new recipe...maybe, Kellogg’s should have bought out a new cereal name with the new recipe.

It’s quite obvious that not everyone is health conscious and into healthy eating. So maybe kept the old recipe for those That think about taste over healthy eating.

Brown coloured Rice Bubbles ... Ewwww – I purchased a box of Coco Pops at Aldi in lieu of Choco Rice (A seriously great product currently out-of=stock!). Seriously, they are Rice Bubble with brown colouring!! No taste and soggy at all .... Like a chocolate milkshake only crunch ...what nonsense. I cannot believe how bad (and expensive) this dud product is. Steer clear folks! Show details

Why change from original? – I hadn't had Coco pops in years. I tried one bowl. I thought, I know I shouldn't, but hey...a little treat. Anyway. They were not anything like I remembered them. I won't treat myself to that again Show details

Tasteless – I bought these to enjoy for breakfast. But omg they have Absolutely No Taste of Anything! Just Nothing. Awful waste if money! And expectation. Years ago I learnt to add salt, and sugar, for Taste! Kelloggs and many others have removed Taste to please the "Woke" society. Show details

What is going on! – I haven’t had Coco Pops in ages. My son has been complaining how horrible they are, and I thought he was being facetious yet my gosh they are truly awful. I’m pregnant and all I can stomach is cereal, so I made a bowl. I thought after the first mouthful the milk was off. It had this awful taste of rotten milk? It was not the milk, it was the… Read more

actual Coco Pops.

Another mouthful it tasted like cocoa flavoured alcohol - I honestly can’t describe it. That flavour is a shocker!

I’m now eating bran flakes which taste better. Whoever decided to change a recipe to appeal to the masses - bad call. I paid $9 for the box too.

Genuinely disgusting – So bland! I like bitter tastes, like dark chocolate and gin, but these are vile. My first mounthful tasted burnt! I wanted a bowl of sugary deliciousness- Instead I got a bowl that tastes like rice crispies with bitter cocoa powder sprinkled on the top. Was tempted to sprinkle sugar on to make them edible. Barely helping with the health aspect… Read more

Crappy Pops – Call me a bad person, I don’t care, but for 40 years I have given my dogs a tiny “handful” of Coco Pops at breakfast time. I opened a box with the new formula today put it in my dog’s bowl and she sniffed it and walked away. So bad not even the dog will eat it. I rest my case.

Wth – Who ever thought it was a good idea to change the recipe needs to be fired immediately with no payout. Coco pops are a treat! They’re supposed to be “unhealthy”. create a 30% less sugar alternate crap version. But you DON’T completely scrap a good thing that’s been riding the success train for decades. What a bunch of low life fools. You’ve lost my money and thousands of other peoples money too. Do a quick google search and sort your mess out. Shame.
