truck to make sure all our 45 cube of belongings were packed and shipped. Our new home move in date has been extended so we are now utilising Kent Storage at a very reasonable weekly rate, no fuss, no worries. We highly recommend Kent.

Have used Kent twice now for 2 bedroom house moves. Very happy with their efficient quote process using video walk through. Staff admin and movers all very friendly and helpful. I had a 2 bedroom relocatable home and multiple boxes at another location. The 2 guys that came were very friendly and listened to any instructions that I gave. I thought there was going to be 2 teams, one for each property but only one team of 2. So it took more than 12hrs. Show details

scratches here and there as expected when moving things! KEY MESSAGE: if you’re looking at relocating, make sure to pack your stuff properly! That’s what saves your belongings! Make sure you use butcher paper to fill out your boxes so they don’t get squeezed and that you use proper boxes too! These guys really do the best they can to look after your stuff! plastic sheets. No corner protection, no padding, no care. All four pieces of artwork arrived significantly damaged. We called Kent. Someone took the details over the phone and that is the last customer care conversation we had with Kent. We received an email with a link to fill out an insurance claim and confirmation that they would refund the $850 (which they did). No call to explain or apologise. The artwork is under repair- $6000 cost which has been covered by Kent insurance. However the repairs cannot be guaranteed and there is risk that the damage may not be eliminated - in which case we are stuck with damaged artwork. Kent sent us a survey for feedback which we completed with a low rating. Hey presto they called us. Wanted to know why the low rating and what could they do to compensate us. We asked could they cover the $500 excess charge for the insurance as we didn’t think it was fair that we had to pay it. They said they would check and get back to us. Of course they didn’t because in reality, they couldn’t have cared less. In addition to the artwork, our leather sofa arrived with black marks - luckily we were able to clean and remove the stains. Our dining table arrived with chips/nicks in the wood. Just the worst experience we have ever had after paying many thousands of dollars.

We moved a 4 bed home from Brisbane to Singapore March 2026. Everything seemed good until we unpacked our things. confirmation of what was collected, and it appears a signature may have been recorded without my clear acknowledgement.

Things only got worse with delivery. The original delivery date in VIC was changed multiple times without any proactive communication. I was first told it would arrive 2 days earlier than scheduled, and then the day before that revised date, I had to take urgent annual leave to accommodate.

On the actual day, no one contacted me at all. I had to follow up myself, only to be told the delivery was postponed to the following Monday due to a so-called “safety concerns.” Had I not called, I would not have been informed.

The final delivery ended up being scheduled 3 days later than the agreed contract date. A manager later admitted it was in fact a system error, not the "safety concerns" explanation originally provided.

While a 10% partial refund was eventually offered after escalation, the impact had already been significant. I was forced to take three separate days of annual leave, repeatedly explaining the situation to my employer, which understandably reflects poorly on me.

Overall, this experience reflects a serious lack of communication, accountability, and operational reliability. For a service that is supposed to reduce the stress of moving, this created the exact opposite.

The only exception was Rodney Spink, the sales representative, who was the only one to communicate proactively throughout the process.

The delivery came on time, when the container was opened everything had shifted and was leaning. The dryer had been dented, the washing machine hose was cracked bc had not been secured properly, and our expensive TV was cracked when we unboxed it. Our car arrived early but refused to deliver to our door as promised and we met them in town to get it, it was filthy looked like been sitting in a lot for a month, rock chips on side. When we attempted to make a claim for the broken furniture the claims department treated us like we were trying to scam them, asking for more and more evidence then stating they didn’t receive it and then refusing to pay for replacements, only emailed never called, very impersonal. Took a week or more to finally get a manager to call us and negotiate a fair payment for replacement/repairs which barely covered it. Didn’t even pay for delivery fee of the new TV which was subpar compared to our TV. Very distressing experience and would not recommend them.

delivery. It has been condemned due to severe mishandling. The entire chassis has been twisted to the extent that none of the doors or drawers can shut. The body has been strapped so tightly it is dented, and the technician confirmed it is beyond repair and must be disposed of.

Two beautiful antique furniture pieces, each handed over in perfect condition, were delivered back to me in seven separate pieces. Numerous other items arrived broken, and several have not arrived at all. I paid for all items to be wrapped and packed.

All items are numbered and marked with a consignment list provided. Whole boxes have gone missing. It is not hard to track down these boxes.

I have repeatedly contacted the company by phone and email seeking assistance and an explanation, yet I have been met with complete silence. They just seem not to care.

I was contacted to provide feedback for the service provided by [Name Removed], General Manager International. That was a week ago. Again, I am met with a deafening silence on the feedback.

Companies like Kent Removals should exercise a duty of care. Some damage can be expected but not to the scale I have experienced. There is no excuse for not receiving items that were loaded at the source. I hope this can be explained by a simple mistake. However, the company has not been communicative. I can only conclude the worst.

I will never use this company again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. Extremely disappointed.

This took them 2 hours to do. I ended up stepping in and helping them, then asking if they could please try and hurry as I am paying per hour. One of the guys, Ceaser - who was extremely rude said “well maybe you should have organised your finances better” I have moved 6 times in the last 5 years. All with the same stuff. It’s always taken around 3 hours to do. These guys took 6 hours. They complained about how my entrance was too long. They stopped to take breaks all the time. They would carry one item at a time even if it was just a small picture frame. And they threw my stuff into a room carelessly, boxes falling off boxes and boxes sitting on my couch leaving a stain. But above all they were rude. I even told them about how I had a great previous experience with another company and Caesar’s response was “ well sounds like he is working hard” I feel like maybe these guys shouldn’t be removalists because they couldn’t even lift my fridge into my house, my friend had to help them. Then to top everything off - they turned my fridge on straight away! Like have they never moved before?! He nearly ruined my entire fridge!
