Kenwood FP950 Questions & Answers
Do you need a special attachment to mince meat with the kenwood multi pro classic
I’m having problems twisting the lid off the FP 950 series kenwood multipro. Annoying as I have so many pieces and attachments and can’t use it
I recently purchased one of these (excellent used condition off eBay) but I'm just wondering if it's normal for there to be very little difference between minimum speed setting and maximum. Mine seems to just go full on, so much so that when I was using the whisk attachment it heated up and seized the attachment and nearly ruined the whole machine. Any advice on this would be appreciated?
That on a FP950 Lybra? No, that is not normal. If on thing distinguishes the Fp950 from other food processors is it's very good variable speed control with various speeds. First is so gentle you can easily squeeze an orange and last is so fast you can chop anything.
You need to service yours.
Where can i get the blender jug of FP 950?
I get spare parts from the Adelaide Service Centre 319 Oaklands Rd, Park Holme, SA, (08) 8376 3621, I don't know which state you are in but try external link to locate a service center closest to you, or call 1800 126 659
I was having trouble in fitting the citrus maker anyone can help ?
Simply place it on top of the bowl, and rotate it clockwise till it cliks and the you can put the cone that actually presses the lemons in.
Can u mince all kinds of meat with the food processors?
Is it easy to make baby food etc with?
Well, concerning meats, only tried out beef and pork but if you consider that I already minced pretty much everything using the mincer attachment with a Brown Minipimer blender I would say that with this Kenwood which as 1000w (400w more than the Brown), bigger bowl, bigger bladed and being a serrated blade I would say, yes, you can mince anything.
Have used it to chop frozen vegetables and some pretty hard stuff
