Kenwood kMix Jug Questions & Answers
Where is the Kenwood KMix Jug Kettle made? Does it have a heating element inside the jug, or is it in the base plate?
It's made in China. The heating element is within the base plate.
Sorry I took so long to get back to you. The kettle is made in China and the element is within the base. (ie that is looking inside the kettle there is no element visible) Still love it, easy to fill, easy to pour and is only a little bit noisy at beginning and then really quiet.
Your answers help my research a lot, My previous one was a Russell Hobbs made in New Zealand, which I used for 24 years without any problems. While I am researching current kettles, I bought the cheapest one available ($7.93) which is okay for now. The Kenwood looks good, and I have some English small appliances (spice grinder, small blender, chopper, cake mixer + hand held all in one appliance) which has lasted a very long time too, and is still very good. So I'll probably go for that. Thanks again.
