King Living Concerto Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi, I’d like to know if there are any instructions on stripping the concerto lounge for washing and cleaning. Mine is looking quite dirty and would like to wash it myself.
Dear Amy, May you please send me your contact details to customercare@kingliving.com.au as I will need one of our team to discuss this with you. Deb KING Customer service Supervisor.
I bought a full sized concerto lounge 2 years ago and am moving to a smaller space. Can I split it into two pieces and if so what needs to be done to it? Can KL do this or provide advice? Thank you
Hi Imogen Thank you for your question. It does depend on which components you have, but in theory yes, you may be able to remove the arm and components - see links below. external link external link If you are able to please provide your contact details in a private message, or email customercare@kingliving.com.au and we can look up your original order and look at the options. Kind Regards Elizabeth
Hi, is the feather overlay on the seat cushions still an option in the current version of concerto?
are they made here in aus?
Hi Edward, the Concerto is made at our factory in Shanghai.
So made in China
Unsure, but at the end of the brochure states: Concerto M: Ultradown® – NO Feathers

Hi Edward and Triks The M refers to Memory Foam for the Concerto Sofa. King Living is a family-owned company, and all King Living furniture is manufactured in our company-owned factory in Shanghai. Only our own furniture is manufactured here; we do not lease any space within the factory to other companies, and no other products are manufactured there.
Hi, just got back from King and got a quote for Concerto in viva leather, costed 9k and a bit. Tempted to purchase them next week as sale is finishing soon, but now I am not sure if I want to go ahead. Is Customer Service that bad? The sales rep is very nice though :). Is there any other options here in Perth? I don't know what to do now, as I need to replace my leather lounge asap coz we have no place to sit?!
Hi sussan, yes customer service is great! But it's what happens a few years later that's disappointing. My suggestion is read the fine print first and ask lots of questions.
Hi Susan. Did you end up going ahead with the Converto? We are just about to buy one and are interested to know what your outcome was. Thanks!
Hi Belinda D, yes we did and honestly I love my Concerto, very comfortable. Concerto comes in 2 sizes; standard and wide. For your comfort make sure you chose the right one. Delivery was prompt. I ended up purchasing a 3 seater standard and a 2 seater wide in cowhide leather, but the 2 seater had an issue with the bottom base and I recognised it a month after delivery as we went on holiday and did not really pay attention at it, however returning from holiday, I called KL Perth, emailed them the picture of the sofa, about 1-2 weeks later someone came and fixed it. So far, I am satisfied with King Living Perth both quality and customer service. Hope it helps :).
I'm about to buy a concerto lounge? After reading the reviews am I making a mistake?
It will never be a sofa you can "sink"in to. We were never given any options when we bought ours, but on the website it says you can have a feather overlay on the memory foam in the cushions. Make sure when you sit on the sofa that you sit right back not just on the edge. Our seats are so deep that it is extremely uncomfortable. I need cushions to support my back. They have the deep seats on display in the showrooms and unless you are tall, they are uncomfortable for watching TV. Don't be polite when trying the sofa out, really sit on it as though you would at home. If I had been offered it I would have had the feather overlay on the cushions and I would never have had such deep seats, even though the deep seats may look better and that's why they have them on display.
All I can say is make sure that the depth of the sofa is OK for you and that the cushions are as soft as you would like them to be.
The cushions are also fixed on the sofa which I find annoying. You can't turn them over.
Hi Sammya, as mentioned, Concerto is available in a number of options including straight or curved components, various seat depths and widths as well as the choice of memory foam with feather overlay seat cushions and a blend of feather and Ultradown® back cushions or high performance HR foam and memory foam seat cushions with Ultradown® back cushions. All of these options are customised to offer optimum comfort that suits your personal taste and style. Please take your time in the Showroom to go through all of the options with a sales consultant to design your Concerto.
