This is my first new lounge. Cast efficient careful professional. Lounge had to fit in a very particular area in a studio through a very narrow gate and sown a set of stairs which are also narrower than standard. Lounge was set up beautifully. Thanks guys and kings. Show details · 1

When making big purchases I am a stickler for reading reviews. I must say I was a little nervous about the negativity around the customer service and the timing comments. big deal) However the lounge suite we purchased was in our opinion the best and most comfortable we'd seen and sat in. (we purchased the King Cloud Classic 2 Seater Recliner with wide seats in true touch leather) I must say the overall experience we had from the date of purchase to the delivery that happened Friday 27/3 went off without a hitch. Even the few calls I made to customer service team were good. Delivery was booked, the tracking of the delivery is great, the phone call from the driver one hour before was great too. The two young delivery guys did a great job setting up and removing all packaging. The answered the questions I had about the assembly and where the battery pack was plugged in if we chose at some point to do that. And best of all, we are extremely happy with the look, comfort and feel of our new lounge. The only feedback I would suggest you take on board, and the reason I made three calls to customer service team. Because the delivery was to an apartment building, we were required to have a copy of the delivery company's public liability insurance policy sent the the builder supervisor prior to the delivery date. This should be an automatic attachment as soon as a delivery is confirmed in my opinion. Other than that, I will recommend King Living base on my experience. I entered the showroom to view a particular modular lounge and realised immediately it would not suit my home. I then saw a modular lounge I hadn't noticed online and my interest was piqued. change the modular components until it looked like the final choice. I was then assisted to look at a wide range of fabrics and was shown examples that were used in the showroom furniture stock. This was such a great, relaxed and fun process. I was then emailed a tentative quote and order which allowed me to change/tweak it over a couple of days so I could ensure it would fit my living room. Job done. Order confirmed. Deposit paid. Further online payments were SO EASY and over the next couple of months it was paid off. I did meet issues however with the automated Delivery Concierge AI which gave me wrong information and wrong dates. I then called the showroom landline who put me through to 'Despatch' which was an offshore phone call. This was not only disappointing but also incorrect information. A further 3 phone calls were required to ascertain delivery date and time which took a further day. This was the worst part of the experience. The Delivery driver sent me a text with his name and a 3 hour delivery window the following day. He then called me with a 40 minute advance notice. He unpacked and set up the Aura suite and micro side table (an unexpected delight and so versatile) and took his shoes off every time he stepped in from outside. Zac was efficient, courteous, calm when I realised that the configuration wrong, it was an easy fix. I felt that the ordering process and communication, and the deliver process and communication was excellent. The Despatch part was poor and resulted in un necessary anxiety and confusion. Please review this process King Living - otherwise a Gold Star.

then bought a Quay Dinning room table in Walnut to match the chairs. After 6 months received the table that did not match the walnut chairs. Table top was very rough and porous. Didn't even look like the same wood. Even the staff at the local King Living store commented on pictures of the table saying the wood looked rough, porous and of low quality. They also advised that different pieces of furniture comes out of different factories and there are many quality issues. They also made a startling admission that the table that I bought was not considered to be a premium walnut veneer but other tables are! Never told me that when I ordered the table. Nor does King living provide such a description of premium versus non premium on their website for the same veneer. Buyer beware I say! Requested a refund under consumer law as the website and staff do not differentiate between premium and non premium, so I expected display room quality which was premium. After much haggling they agreed to refund all monies, but then proceeded to refund only some money! Waiting for the rest of my money. Very disappointing experience all round King Living, considering the premium price a consumer pays. Polite warranty staff, not premium quality products :-( order number is OPK25090589

extremely frustrating. This time, the new bed was delivered without the necessary gas struts or brackets. In previous purchases, King Living made sure to confirm the mattress weight and supply all parts, but this time they did not.
I had to chase them multiple times for the missing parts, and even when the gas struts finally arrived, they came without the necessary brackets. Now I’m left with a bed that I can’t use properly and sporadic updates from customer service.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with their support and it’s truly disappointing. I expected much better from a company of this reputation. I hope they resolve this quickly and ensure that no other customers have to deal with these repeated oversights.

After 4 months they emailed me to say they were "monitoring the status closely" of the spare part I need and appreciated my patience and understanding.
I advised them my patience and understanding has run out so can no longer be appreciated and an email telling me they are monitoring the situation closely is just another insult when nothing tangible from the monitoring process results
Their customer service is abysmal when they carry no spare parts and can't get them for 4-6 months
What kind of company represents itself as catering to a high end consumer market by marketing supposedly high quality furniture but maintains no level at all of the most basic service parts?
How is it acceptable that the kit that fits every seat in the recliner range ( I have 5 of them in my lounges) is not available in stock for, so far, 4 months and now potentially heading for 5 or 6 months?
As I have now more than fulfilled step 1 of the complaints requirements process stipulated by NSW Dept of Fair Trading by contacting them and trying to resolve my issue, I am now going to proceed to step 2 and lodge a formal complaint and logically end up in NCAT as I am certain the DFT mediation will not resolve anything as it seems this company is not capable of making the right decision to resolve this issue

Order arrived 4 weeks late. Legs were then missing from the three beds. The rug and cushion weren't delivered with the order and could not be found. result the frames were bent and the legs were now uneven when correctly fitted the right way around. King Furniture have said it will be another 12 weeks to receive new frames. King Furniture could swap the frames over with what they have in their showroom but have refused to do so. Whilst they could remediate the issue now, I am left with the defective products, not their showroom. Don't buy King Furniture. Go the Camerich for a better product at comparable prices with significantly better customer service. I am a very dissatisfied customer who will never shop King Furniture again.

The matter involved multiple follow-ups, poor communication, and ultimately required escalation to NSW Fair Trading. The final outcome offered was a refund.
While the refund was processed, the experience itself — particularly the ordering error, lack of accountability, and communication — was very disappointing.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend King Living and would not shop with them again.
