King Living still continue to advertise Sales, another about to start and yet they cant deliver - do not buy anything from them if you are in a hurry for delivery - is it ridiculous how long you need to wait, 6 months so far and no sight of any furniture #stayclearofKing #runaway #nondelivery #terribleservice
Ordered my couch in early November 2020, expected delivery early Feb and there was a delay of 2 weeks which was not an issue. What was an issue was that Kings Living was calling me and harassing me last minute, threatening that my order would not be delivered if I did not pay. They called me 4 times in one day despite me advising them that my daughter was in hospital and I could not make the payment that day; I ended up having to get my son to go in store to make the payment as I was getting harassed.
Once payment was made, my couch was deliv...ered 2 days later... and we realise that they forgot to order part of the couch - the headrest which also acts as a support for the cushion at the back. This would be another 8 week delay (mid April) that we were told they could do nothing about, not even expedite the order since it was their stuff up. They apologised and threw in some things which we appreciated, but were baffled at how you could forget to order something we specifically paid for. Eight weeks later, I went into Kings Living as I had not heard from them, only to be told that my order would now be here on the 5th of May. Last week I was emailed and told that my order will now be here in June, that they cannot give me a specific time frame and there is nothing they can do; which is not good enough. It does not take 7 months to receive a complete couch when we were originally told February. It has been just under 3 months since we received part of the couch, it is already showing slight signs of wear and sagging (it was ordered to be firm), I still only have half of my order and the rest of it does not have an exact time frame for when I will receive it. I am at the point that I would prefer to just return the couch and get my money back as I am not happy with the service or the quality; but again, all they can tell me is that there is nothing they can do.
Amazing Customer Service
Our Sales assistant, Lesley was simply amazing! Not only was she knowledgeable of the products, but also assisted with colour co-ordination of soft furnishings. We had a great time selecting lounge, dinning & bedroom furniture for a new home & we cant wait to get delivery of our beautiful new furniture. Thank you!
We purchased the Plaza suite with ottoman in a lovely fabric called Bronte. We waited 4 months but they told us that at the time and it arrived exactly on time. I was contacted by phone to arrange delivery day a week or so before. The delivery guys were most friendly and helpful and changed the config for me when i got it the wrong way around :) The lounges are very comfy and we are really pleased with their quality. I am hoping they will last a long time and maintain their great look. I have no experience with the after sales service people as we have had no issues but the sales person on the day of purchase was extremely helpful. I also used the chat option online to discuss rugs and the lady was also very helpful
Excellent furniture, but beware when moving
Their furniture is lovely, I have the Delta III and a gas lift queen size bed. But BEWARE. When you move there is only one company that can come and take it all apart as it is quite complicated. This company just cancelled the date of my move, because their "King team" wasn't available and now I am stuck. The problem is, if anything happens in the move, they won't repair or honour warranty, so better beware when buying. They are very expensive.

I want to give a five star rating to a wonderful customer service lady called Deb.
She has gone above all expectations for us, without her caring and professional service we would be still waiting and fighting to resolve our situation. The company needs to know what a valuable staff member they have and we hope she is rewarded for her work and genuine care for the customer. Well done Deb

Terrible customer service
Went to the Fortitude Valley store over the weekend and was appalled by the customer service. We walked in wanting to buy the Delta III and after looking at other couches were very keen on the Japser. We couldn’t sit or look at the leather one we were interested in as a salesperson and customer sat there choosing fabrics and configuration for over an hour. In my opinion this should be done on a designated table. Not one salesperson acknowledged us in the store over the hour and a half we were there, despite making eye contact on several occasio...ns. Salespeople walked straight past us. Other customers walked in and were served straight away. Perhaps it was my husband’s thongs and shorts that threw the salespeople off? Lost sale - we were ready to purchase the next model up from our initial choice.
Fabulous customer service from start to finish!
From the first time I entered the Newcastle store I found it spacious & elegantly displayed but on top of that I found the staff there extremely helpful and very friendly. I wasn’t pressured into selling but rather told to go away and have a think about what I was looking at then return again. I did this 3 times before purchasing and had 3 different sales people attend to me. I was told the delivery time would be 2 months and it was...the delivery itself was smooth less with the young gentleman fearing to carry my old lounge downstairs for me a...fter installing the new. I decided a couple of days later I would like to add a piece to make the lounge a little bigger and was met with the same level of service by a staff member who remembered my original order. Cannot fault the quality of both the product & service I received from King.

A truly integrated selection of living room furniture - outstanding service
King Living Castle Hill Manager Troy Wedesweiler took our new furniture requirements for our living room to a whole new level. Troy has an exceptional eye for interior design and excellent communication skills.
After observing us as we considered various armchair, sofa and side table options, Troy helped us to understand how to put together our various requirements into a truly cohesive and integrated package in a way. Terrible customer service
The sofa I purchased is amazing, it has lived up to my expectations.
My 1 star rating is due to the fact I am still waiting for accessories 2 months after delivery. The customer service is 0 stars at best.
Worst experience ever
I ordered a table and chairs in July 2020. I patiently waited till Feb 2021 for delivery. The table was damaged during delivery so never arrived, no one bothered to call me to let me know. A new table was ordered and I was given an ETA of 3 months, therefore it would have been a total of 10 months for the table to arrive. I then accepted delivery of chairs... 2 out of the 8 chairs were seriously damaged. After letting King know that the 2 chairs were damaged, I was advised that they would be repaired. Repaired after waiting 7 months!!!! I asked...the State Manager to call me... I waited and waited and waited and nothing. No one called. So I requested the chairs to be picked up and a full refund be applied to my account. The chairs were picked up. I have only been refunded partially and yet again I have had to follow up for the remainder $1500+. So after 9 months I have no table, no chairs and a partial refund. What a joke.

Fantastic furniture and excellent service
We ordered furniture with Rebecca for a new property over a year ago, before returning to the UK.
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, we aren't able to return to Australia, even though the home is now finished.
Rebecca has been in touch constantly throughout the year and was even at the home to check everything on our behalf when it was delivered.

Sales service with Bianca at the the Castle Hill showroom was excellent in fact all staff were very helpful to us & very patient. We took some time to decide on exactly what we wanted but nothing was a trouble on reworking out quotes for us. Can't wait now to see our beautiful lounge in our home. Thanks again for all your time.
We came into the showroom with an idea of what we wanted, and Sharon made that process so much smoother and simpler than what we thought it would be. Atrocious customer care
We have paid a $2000 DEPOSIT... to have our King sofas re-covered by King. We paid this in November. We were told to expect a longer process because of Covid and that we should have our new covers at the end of January. We were contacted to say longer delays would see us pushed back to mid February. We have heard nothing since. My husband rang the person who organised the original quote etc and he no longer works there. We rang customer care last week and were promised service on Friday or today.... Still nothing!!!! Very concerned about our deposit, the complete lack of communication and the likely outcome of us getting our $8000 sofa re-covering service.
Excellent Service, Assistance and Product
We were in Queensland on vacation and dropped in to see the Quay Dinning chairs. We received excellent service and assistance from Deborah from as soon we entered the store. We thought the chairs we out of our range however Deborah advised us of a Package sale on the 8 we were looking at which was then within budget. We went through all the Fabrics and colours for quite a while. Deborah was extremely helpful and we returned with variations on 2 further occasions and she was very accommodating despite us constantly changing our minds. We ended up purchasing the Dining Chairs there even though we live in Melbourne. Amazing Product and Service from the outset to completion. Very much looking forward to receiving our Dinning Chairs.
Sharon Kwan - Most supportive sales consultant
Sharon welcomed my fiancé and I into King Living with open arms, supporting us in choosing the couch set that would fit perfectly in the space we were working with. Sharon used an online application to draw out our living space and place different sized sofas in the space. This supported us greatly in picking our couch!
Sharon was also very great with assurance. She ensured that we picked the couch we wanted, material that suited and colour that matched! Did I mention that she is an internal designer? Well, she is!
Sharon was very time effici...ent, we picked our sofa and bed, purchased it all and were in our car within the hour. She is still supporting me, even after our purchase by emailing me to support me in this process (as this is the first sofa and bed that I have ever purchased). Thank you Sharon.
Questions & Answers
Recently purchased 2 Leon recliners. Had them for 12 days. They are so firm to sit on that my husband just has to get up out of it after an hour. It actually hurts. Please tell me they will soften. I’m so concerned after spending so much on them. My previous ones were super comfy and we only replaced them for aesthetics. Very anxious. Thanks.

Hi Beats L yes they do soften but not quickly. Maybe your husband can put something down on the sofa until it does. The springs in the sofas are there for support so maybe after a very soft sofa his body may be resistant to this support right now
