3hrs later, when I called back, they are still on their way, "you're the next delivery". 2hrs later and he's stopped at a servo 3 suburbs away for lunch. So my delivery that was scheduled from 7am to be told it was arriving at 9:30am has now been over 3hrs late and he's still mot here. The driver doesn't speak good English which makes life difficult. I'll definitely be letting ikea know these issues

I ordered a sofa couch from IKEA which I asked to be delivered to my unit. 15minutes, to which they did. When they got here, I directed them to where my unit was and they told me “we are not allowed to deliver upstairs to units. We must leave it downstairs.”. I asked why not, as I had stipulated that as part of my delivery. I also asked, as a single person, how was I supposed to carry up two BIG boxes of furniture up stairs.
They moaned and grumbled, and then brought the boxes up and placed them outside my door. I then asked, could you please put them in the lounge (less than 5 steps away from the door) the man cut me off and in an aggressive tone said “NO”. The second guy came up with the final box (small) and asked to take a photo as Proof of delivery. I asked him “are you guys just leaving it here? Could you please help me put it inside?” “No we are not allowed to because we have many other deliveries”.
I don’t understand how ALL my other deliveries were able to be delivered to a specific room in my unit but these guys straight up told me NO. On their website, they state that they deliver to your door or even to a specific room in the house.
Their customer service is putrid and they were rude. IKEA need to find better delivery services

I did not receive a call back so called the company again at 4pm on 16/10 and was advised that the drivers behaviour was very unprofessional and unacceptable and that someone would call me back on either Saturday 17th October or Monday 18th October. They did not. I also had to make a 90 minute round trip to return a broken piece likely due to the driver kicking the trolley with my furniture on it. I would steer clear of this company. They are EXTREMELY unprofessional to say the least.

with the message they sent with my window for delivery. The young men who delivered my order were polite and courteous. My order, 10 chairs, was in good condition upon arrival, even though they were packaged poorly in just plastic bags. An ikea fault, not kings. The fact that they arrived in good condition when so poorly packaged is a huge compliment to kings. Thank you.

situation. 6 hours later nothing but the driver won't answer his phone. That's it.. nothing else. I had to go physically into ikea to sort it out and borrow a car to pick up the two huge boxes the desk came in. Kings response? Nothing. Guess stealing from clients is a normal practice. When I called King transport to ask what had happened to their fixed schedule I was told in so many words "nothing to be done about it" and hung up on.
Delivery made to the wrong address no attempt to correct it – Had an IKEA delivery schedueled with them. Item was marked as delivered, but nothing placed at our house. Easily worst delivery company in Victoria. If a retailer uses this company i suggest you organise your own pickup – Need to reschedule 3 times where during the 1st time they just call out of nowhere with 30 minutes notice (not everyone live in the delivery address) and always be available. unit I explained to the driver that the mattress would needed to be bought in last as where I wanted it placed they would the room to get the 2 lounges. They bought the mattress in 1st , then the lounges. Then proceeded to tell me they needed to move the mattress. My response was " That's why I told you to bring it in last. I had to was all my walls after they left as they put black ink from packaging over every wall they went past. They broke the dimer switch on my kitchen/lights, no apology. 2 weeks the rest of the furniture arrived. Amart contacted to arrange delivery for a few days later. I contacted KINGS and told them there was a 2 hour window between 9 am-11 am where nobody would be home if the could deliver before 9 or after 11. They did not want to come to the party and tried to tell me they don't set the delivery schedule that Amart did. Liars. Received a txt the night before with time between 8:30 -11:30. I had to go to work, my daughter was home . Then got another txt saying 10- 1 pm. I got home by 2, no delivery. Rang KINGS and was told the truck broke down. Delivery would have to be the next day. Tried to say they didn't have another truck and that the driver needed scheduled rest breaks( not long haul drivers) more lies. Delivery was supposed to be for the following day between 10-1. Then sent a txt that night stating delivery time changed from between 7:15 am -10:15 . Did not arrive until almost 1 pm. No call or txt from KINGS stating delivery would late. Clearly they don't what a phone is or care about the customer.One of the ladies I spoke to explain the 2 hour window that nobody would be home was rude and kept talking over me. I had to raise my voice at her and tell her to stop being so rude and let me finish speaking. At no time did anyone from KINGS apologise for the inconvenience they caused. In fact they lied yet again about the truck breakdown and said they had only found out 5 mins prior to my call. In speaking with Amart the truck broke down after the 1st delivery and that a mechanic had been working on it all day. KINGS had still been txting 1 customer at 2 pm saying delivery wad on it's way , when it clearly wasn't. At least Amart Osborne Park have the sense to look at other transport unlike Ikea. How in the world KINGS is even still operating is beyond as they don't deserve to be when they treat customers in this way. Absolutely disgusting service. Won't accommodate the customer but think they have the right to inconvenience the customer and don't care. Unprofessional, incompetent, inefficient, downright rude. Good on amart osborne park for looking into other transport. Kings are undeserving of the contract.

drivers are and don't even keep their customers updated if there are any delays. I was basically fobbed off and told to call the Furniture company as they were the ones that booked the delivery. As if they can help me!! They obviously can't track the driver!!!!! Not impressed

Another one of many complaints – I just learnt that Kings is doing the delivery for my beds that I bought from IKEA yesterday. hours prior to delivery". They decided to call 30 minutes before. That's still fine, my girlfriend made it to the nearest train station before times up and she was just 5 minutes away. They called her again saying that they have to go because time was up, even though she was just 5 MINUTES away! She reached the apartment and went through to reception only to find that they have never bothered to ask reception, which we have organised earlier if we couldn't make it. Now they say they want us to pay again, and they will only do the delivery again tomorrow. This is an obvious joke!

excuses and when I questioned I should only be charged for the service of express delivery (approximately 2 hours) as that was the service that I received, I was advised that I got the next available vehicle. It simply is not good enough to be honest and nowhere close to the level of service that other transport companies are providing. When I received the invoice, it was over double what I was quoted, with a myriad of additional costs like admin fees and a fee for calling the call centre, of which was not advised at the time of quoting. Fortunately, I did get my invoice revised to the amount quoted and I agreed to their added extras, even the ones I wasn't advised about, after all, I wasn't trying to take advantage of them, I was happy to be fair ...but I also expected fair treatment in return. I was fortunate to speak with a lady who had some clue about customer service.
Staff at the call centre were great, I found no fault with them at all, except for a misquote I guess, but even then that is training in which the company is responsible for, not the call centre representative.
In my experience, the company failed to meet very basic customer expectation in their service delivery, which is achieved by their competitors. The area Manager had the perfect opportunity to take a negative customer experience and make it a positive win/win outcome, but he stuck to his excuses and even tried to note that his company had more vehicles than the courier company I generally use. What can I say? I'm happy to return to my other courier company because even with less vehicles, I pay for a 2 hour delivery service and more often than not receive the goods within the hour. They exceed customer service, not like Kings. I tried Kings, because their quote was slightly cheaper and I thought I could save my customer some money. Never again though, I now know first hand that I already have a good courier company that I will stick with.

We have had furniture & appliances delivered from many different stores and at $90+ for delivery, Kings is by far the most we have ever paid. I called the contact centre to be told "if you read our terms & conditions, ma'am, delivery timeframes are only guidelines". I don't understand why IKEA ruins a near perfect shopping experience by partnering with a rude & unreliable transport company.

got was short 14 items from my purchase, and it was complete when I took it to the counter staff at ikea. I rang the number provided and was told by the supervisor to "prove it". I sent a copy of my licence to a manager, and then was advised this would be fixed up. I know that my signature was forged and being in a time of security upheaval I will be pressing charges against the kings group at ikea in regards to forgery. If you use this service, shame on you, and if you need to use them, photograph or video the entire process of when they deliver the goods to your house.

relative who had a business whether they could do it through their business they said yes. Kings rang me back and then told me they could not do it. The story keeps changing. They would not even let me speak to the manager. So I was left high and dry. I had to organize another transport company. Of course I had to wait extra days before the goods could be moved. The issue is they were angry vicious and threatened to leave charging me with a redelivery fee even after I apologised and tried to explain that this was unintentional. I was treated like a criminal. Trying to salvage the situation and make things favourable to both parties I suggested they start to unload the truck while I clear a path for them to enter the property. Instead the entire delivery was dumped in the front yard, without care or concern. I pleaded with them to help me, begged them to assist with the heavier items at least and that I would carry in all the other items myself. Clearly they could see I was alone. 3.50, they nearly refused to speak with me as they apparently only deal with the retailer, the girl told me that the driver had put our address in the GPS and ended up on the other side of the city, there was no street with the same name as ours in the suburb he ended up in, as I checked on google maps. They said they had first informed the retailer of the delay at 11.30 am (but the retailer said no such call had occurred) and were keeping her up to date throughout the day this, was not the case, she said hadn't received any such calls from them what so ever, it was she doing all the chasing up, kings did nothing. with them were due to our stock that we sent (not easy stuff to deal with, so i thought), but it seems that the issues are common ones at best. I agree that the times charged are sketchy (I can never seem to make the times balance out against the cost charged), the excuses used for shoddy performace have now started to be repeatedand the so called account managers only ever seem to call you when you dont do a delivery with them for a few weeks (it took them a month to notice that i stopped using them).
Since taking over the responsibility of the transport, I set about seeing what else is out there in the transport world. I have trialed several companies and have settled on one of Kings major competitors, Capital Transport. Kings' technology is second rate compared to the stuff available in the market place right now. I now get calls on delays, callbacks to ensure that we are happy and the rep calls me every 2-3 weeks to make sure that everything is going along well. If you use Kings or are considering using them, call Capital or one of the other competitors....Kings don't 'deliver what they promise'. HA!....Yeah right!!!! They start from the moment you deal with them. Every aspect is fairly ordinary.
