Great experience – I found the staff at Kirana provided me with what I needed to get my Cert IV Disability done. My teacher was supportive and knowledgeable. Support services went above and beyond to give me the tools needed to complete my course. The course gave me a good insight into how things are supposed to happen in the industry that I am currently working… Read more ·  1

in. It has given me the confidence needed to question management about some decisions are made that I have reservations about. The course was well structured to cover what is needed in the industry. I found it a little difficult to finish only because I'm working full time + At all times I was supported and encouraged to keep going.

AMAZING – Look I only applied to this course because it was the first link on google and I didn’t think I had a chance, But then I spoke to Wendy which by the way she is a very very lovely person!! She made it easy for me to understand and didn’t make me feel like I was being judged but most of all she listened! I’ve only reacted with you guys three times… Read more ·  1

Do your homework first! Limited modules are released. And when they do, you are then required to role play to complete the majority of them. This requires you to write the script. You then come into difficulty when they want 3 people in the role… Read more

play. It’s hard finding one particularly when you’ve chosen to do this online which for most is at night or remote location. The communal group for finding a role play buddy is time consuming. Overall you waste time waiting for a role play buddy to then unlock your next module. This is not suitable for an evening or remote option in my opinion. Look elsewhere!

Follow-up  · You go from role playing with one person to then having a role play with 4. They won’t release further modules until the current is completed. So you lose momentum and absolutely motivation. The whole point of online study is to make it easier and this college adds far too many complexities

Horrible experience.i left half way through my course Cert III aged care and disability. You have a lot of role plays and if you miss a tiny thing (they make you re do the whole thing) and if you got 1 quiz question wrong you have to do it all over… Read more

again after a phone interview. The communication is dreadful and and I’m more than happy to leave half way through and go somewhere else. The teachers are rude and not helpful. These scammers say you will be supported but it’s a lie. Don’t waste your money on these scammers!! They don’t mark your work for atleast 6 weeks and they never answer there phones.

Follow-up  · There has been no change. I ended up just leaving and they kept my money. They try and make the course extra hard on you so you DONT pass and you have to keep paying extra till you do. Huge Scammers. No support what so ever. Nice at the start but soon as they take your money they ignore you. If you need marking it takes 4 weeks to even get a reply. Don’t do it !!!!!!!!!

amazing trainer. She was always supportive, patient, and encouraging, and her clear guidance and constructive feedback helped me stay motivated throughout my course. I would also like to thank all the other trainers and staff at Kirana Colleges for their dedication, kindness, and willingness to help whenever I needed assistance.

The learning materials were well-organized, and the course provided a great balance of practical and theoretical knowledge that prepared me for working in the early childhood sector. The friendly and supportive learning environment made my journey enjoyable and successful.

I highly recommend Kirana Colleges to anyone looking to build a career in Early Childhood Education and Care. Thank you to Jessica, all the wonderful teachers, and the entire Kirana Colleges team for helping me achieve this important milestone.

My studies started off well however 2 months after I started they changed some of the assessments in 3 or more units. I was overseas for 5 weeks and could not complete all of this before it changed even though I’d already started the units. I emailed about my concerns but they said it was too bad. Why is a course that I’ve paid over $3.5K for… Read more

changing after I’ve started? Turns out most of the questions were the same so it was just a complete waste of time to redo the same answers I’d already done. Then I start placement and my teacher forgets to release 11 booklets of information I have to fill out. Someone in admin picked it up but I was only 3 days before finishing placement that I had to rush filling out information and so did my trainer. When I was finishing my last units I was struggling with a topic and sent my teacher 3 seperate emails, none of which were replied to. I emailed a different teacher and got a response telling me to email my teacher, which I explained I had already done with no success! The lack of support in the end meant I’ve wasted 2 months waiting for completion when I could have been working instead. They told me when I signed up that I would have to complete a few role play videos of things like shaving a balloon and handwashing etc. but they did not tell me I would have to complete 20+ videos and have extra people in most of them. I don’t want to be on camera so I found it very hard to ask anyone else to as well.

First online course and found it frustrating to not have anyone to bounce off. Also found it challenging more so with first teacher that it would take sometimes nearly a week to get a phone call back. So much work to do when completing work placement compared to other students at other colleges. I think overall the course was good, but the work… Read more

placement is where the hand on experience is effective. Would of been good to have my teacher come to the aged care facility and see and access instead of having all those further modules. Not something to be fair I would look at recommending. I would definitely suggest a classroom environment. Maybe that the way I learn better. Again, the ability to find work placement seemed to be a challenge as well. I enjoyed the course content but in reality, when you're in the facility it's different especially when providing reporting etc.

Misleading advice, financial stress, and poor communication — DON’T ENROL I enrolled with Kirana College in a Childcare course after being advised by one of their staff that this would lead me to a straight pathway to permanent residency after completing the qualification and gaining one year of work experience. This advice was a major factor in… Read more

my decision to enroll, especially given my difficult financial situation at the time.

Later, after consulting with registered migration agents, I was informed that this information was not accurate for my circumstances and that the course was not the best migration pathway. Had this been clearly explained from the start, I would not have enrolled.

I acknowledge that I should have verified the information independently. However, the advice was presented with such confidence that I did not feel the need to question it. I even attempted to clarify this information via email with the staff but received no response.

When I tried to act and requested help with the cancellation/withdrawal by submitting a contact form, I didn't receive any call back or email, which led me to just calling them. And instead of a fair exit, I was offered a downgrade, which felt like being pushed to continue paying.

This experience left me misled, financially pressured, and trapped. If you are considering enrolling, especially for migration-related reasons, DON’T ENROL without seeking independent advice first.

I recommend Kirana for anyone who wants to work while gaining a qualification.l completed community services, which was challenging at times, especially the role plays and living in a small community meant l often had to rely on people l knew to help. Despite these minor challenges the course structure worked well for my circumstances and enabled me to achieve my goals. Show reply
