Junk. Very disappointing. Started to malfunction just a few months out of warranty. A real shame because the old KitchenAids were rock solid. It seems that the quality has gone downhill in recent times. It was also almost impossible to contact the company to arrange for a service! I tried the website but it would not allow me to submit a query,… Read more

telling me I was entering the wrong model number (I wasn't). Eventually I had to contact the company through Instagram of all places (the don't even allow messaging - had to leave a public comment). They really, really do not want customers contacting them. This in my view is the biggest giveaway that the company views its customers with contempt. It's so sad to see what has become of this brand.

Perfect size for use and bench – Love this mixer. Does what the big one does but uses less bench space. It would have been better in more colour choices and more accessories. I bought my sisters one at discounted prices.

Used regularly. No problems – Had it for over 10 years and it’s easy to use providing good mixing results. It’s a little heavy (does weight = quality?) so it’s left on the bench rather than in the cupboard. The silicon sided attachment seems to have moved a little over time, meaning eggs etc don’t whip like they used to because clearance to the glass bowl has changed. But still very happy with it. Show details

Love my mixer – This mini mixer I’ve made pavlovas, bread dough, whipped cream, mousse, love this just as powerful as the standard machine. Attachments just brought the 3.3L Mini Stainless Steel Bowl for Mini , Pouring Shield for Mini Tilt-Head Bowl and Mini Flex Edge Beater for Mini Stand which got a great price on Boxing Day. I’m so happy I brought his value for money Show details

Love it! – It’s a very decent size for a normal household cooking and baking. I knead my dough in it everyday perfectly. The only problem I had was that the machine vibrates little bit. Otherwise fully functional for everyday baking needs.  Show details

Pocket rocket! – I owned a full size KitchenAid many years ago and made the mistake of selling it when in the grip of Thermomix madness. Doh! As I've now downsized, the KitchenAid Mini is perfect as its footprint is really compact in comparison. Also, it's perfect for the volume I make. In retrospect, if the Mini had been available when I was initially in the… Read more

market, I would have bought the Mini. I find that the Empire Red really lifts up my kitchen bench. Performance doesn't suffer. It's really quiet and when beating or kneading, there is virtually no noise or vibration. I am quite short and small and oddly enough, the Mini seems easier to handle in lifting the head up and down - it may be lighter (I'm not sure). I really am very fond of this machine and look forward to another lifetime of breads, cakes and pastries with it.

Looks good, broken down after 12months – Our machine looks good, however after living a short, easy life it has broken down. The unit has had a very easy life making light cake mixers & whisking cream. My mother bought a Kenwood mixer 40 years ago and it is still going strong, never missed a beat. Sorry, I don’t have any faith in this mini mixer lasting anywhere near a Kenwood. Can not recommend this product.

Amazing quality – I bought this model for two reasons: the colour is beautiful (not easy to find a yellow KitchenAid) and it was the perfect size for a small family. It is deep yellow and the bowl is stainless steel which is dishwasher safe. Whisk is also stainless steel and dishwasher safe but paddle attachment and dough hook are enamel coated (hand wash only). Show details

Worked great for 11 months!! – The stand mixer was great but it stopped working today and it was only 11 months since I bought it. It stopped working completely and I tried to turn it on again and it worked at very low speed and stop and work again and again. The motor doesn't sound right at all. However I tried to contact Kitchenaid service and hoping I will be contacted very soon as I need to use it to make a cake for my daughter BD. Show details

"Mini Me" Version – When buying appliances, one of my criteria is ensuring the equipment does not take too much space. Thus, it's no surprise that when we were looking for a KitchenAid mixer, I opted to buy this model. As my wife and I usually just bake a few items at one time, this model is perfect for us. It takes just a right amount of space and the quantity it… Read more

produced is sufficient for personal use. Being a bit smaller in size makes it light as well. Still heavy but relatively easier to move around. Like any KitchenAid product, it's built well and definitely durable. Highly recommended.

No regrets - I am converted to KitchenAid – Love my Kitchenaid Mini. Mostly it does exactly what I purchased it for, ie cupcakes, muffins, bread and pizza dough. It is a Mini, so whilst it's great for space saving on the bench don't expect to do large batches of dough etc, but I have found one loaf or pizza dough enough for a family of 4 to be fine. I purchased it knowing it was smaller… Read more

than usual so I simply have to do 2 batches when entertaining and making pizza - certainly not the end of the world but when I'm entertaining that I could use the extra time so I will look to upgrade down the track to a Kitchenaid Classic. I did purchase this mini on sale for $250, a bargain, but if I was to pay retail or close to I'd probably have gone the Classic straight away as I do have the bench space available. The wattage concerned me at the start as it's so much less than other mixers but these pack a punch and are better than others I have tested. If you're considering one of these and the price is right, I would highly recommend it.

Very impressed, will go to this brand in future for baking appliances – We had an issue with our first delivery breaking down but it was replaced, no arguments, in double quick time. Many thanks to Appliances Online. We bought it primarily for the dough hook and bread making features but will now be using it for much more. We have just ordered the scraper blade and pouring hood as accessories. There are only 2 of… Read more

us so this size is perfect.

It's quiet, compact and easy to clean. So far has transformed the quality of our bread by a mile, and there is also a great deal of info on YouTube from other bakers and enthusiasts.

I was not pleased that the KitchenAid web site was faulty over Christmas when I wanted to register our product, but they seem now to have fixed it. That's an hour of my time I will never get back though :-(

All my dreams come true – From the day I saw my first Kitchenaid Stand Mixer I wanted one but could never afford one. That all changed when I saw the Mini. Now i am the proud owner of a Honey Dew Mini. It is excellent in every way except one small thing...the beater attachment doesn't work right to the sides of the bowl. Other than that, perfection!!  Show details

(KitchenAid mini)Cute and performative! – It’s mini it’s so cute but it’s so powerful! I am loving it. I have made lots of delicious sweets out of this baby. For whipping cream and meringue, this baby can perform as best as the big ones. It’s smaller so it fits well on your kitchen bench top.  Show details

Perfect for small kitchen – I love baking, I bought it 4 months ago and been using at least twice a week, been working perfectly with the tiny space I have. It’s not noisy as I thought before I bought (I used hand mixer, that much noisier). Lovely colour. I also bought the mincer and sausage tube attachment. I’m not buying mince any more. The size of the bowl is perfect just… Read more ·  1

I’m satisfied with Kinchenaid mixer, would recommend to everyone who has smaller space and love baking, I’m happy every time I use and never regret. High quality mixer, would last forever.

Good but expensive for what you get – It's a better size for me but still quite heavy. For the money you pay, the flex paddle attachment should come with it as I find the ordinary paddle that is included still leaves stuff at the bottom of the bowl that I have to get in and mix by hand. I wish the balloon whisk was dishwasher safe. The machine is sturdy and looks good. More practical than the full sized one if you have limited bench space.  Show details

Top quality – I dont have a big kitchen so this Kitchenaid Mini is just perfect. The bowl is big enough for everything I cook. Came with the Spiralizer but have not used yet. Does cost a bit more but it is worth it. You can see & feel the quality. So easy to use.  Show details ·  3
