Junk. Very disappointing. Started to malfunction just a few months out of warranty. A real shame because the old KitchenAids were rock solid. It seems that the quality has gone downhill in recent times. It was also almost impossible to contact the company to arrange for a service! I tried the website but it would not allow me to submit a query,… Read more
telling me I was entering the wrong model number (I wasn't). Eventually I had to contact the company through Instagram of all places (the don't even allow messaging - had to leave a public comment). They really, really do not want customers contacting them. This in my view is the biggest giveaway that the company views its customers with contempt. It's so sad to see what has become of this brand.
Used regularly. No problems – Had it for over 10 years and it’s easy to use providing good mixing results. It’s a little heavy (does weight = quality?) so it’s left on the bench rather than in the cupboard. The silicon sided attachment seems to have moved a little over time, meaning eggs etc don’t whip like they used to because clearance to the glass bowl has changed. But still very happy with it. Love my mixer – This mini mixer I’ve made pavlovas, bread dough, whipped cream, mousse, love this just as powerful as the standard machine. Attachments just brought the 3.3L Mini Stainless Steel Bowl for Mini , Pouring Shield for Mini Tilt-Head Bowl and Mini Flex Edge Beater for Mini Stand which got a great price on Boxing Day. I’m so happy I brought his value for money Show details
Pocket rocket! – I owned a full size KitchenAid many years ago and made the mistake of selling it when in the grip of Thermomix madness. Doh! As I've now downsized, the KitchenAid Mini is perfect as its footprint is really compact in comparison. Also, it's perfect for the volume I make. In retrospect, if the Mini had been available when I was initially in the… Read more
market, I would have bought the Mini. I find that the Empire Red really lifts up my kitchen bench. Performance doesn't suffer. It's really quiet and when beating or kneading, there is virtually no noise or vibration. I am quite short and small and oddly enough, the Mini seems easier to handle in lifting the head up and down - it may be lighter (I'm not sure). I really am very fond of this machine and look forward to another lifetime of breads, cakes and pastries with it.
Very high quality product that will last forever – Always wanting a Kitchen Aid Mixer and this one fits perfectly in my kitchen. Its so easy to work with and makes life easy. I run my own small cake business and this is a perfect fit for my work. Very easy to use and very quiet. Show details
"Mini Me" Version – When buying appliances, one of my criteria is ensuring the equipment does not take too much space. Thus, it's no surprise that when we were looking for a KitchenAid mixer, I opted to buy this model. As my wife and I usually just bake a few items at one time, this model is perfect for us. It takes just a right amount of space and the quantity it… Read more
produced is sufficient for personal use. Being a bit smaller in size makes it light as well. Still heavy but relatively easier to move around. Like any KitchenAid product, it's built well and definitely durable. Highly recommended.
Love it – Perfect for My needs, accessories are over priced so won’t be buying any. Only payed $400 for this hunted the internet. Looks great, easy to use and I’m sure it will last forever. Happy purchase. Wouldn’t pay the full price of $600 ++ looking forward to creating many treats for my little family. Show details
