Kitchensubuild Gold Coast came to do a measurement. Did not get back to us even after we phoned them several times. We obtained a quote from a competitor then called into Kitchensubuild showroom to follow up their quote. Totally happy with this other competitor who " Martin" had "bad-mouthed" to us when we called in to try and obtain his quote to compare. Not great customer service. Appear not to care. Our kitchen cost $60,000. Its fantastic. Kitchenubuild's loss.

into this now as only 5% deposit can be charged for projects over 20K) and were told twice by their consultant (in front of receptionist) that if we decide not to proceed before the production start they will return the deposit (she didnt recall saying it once we officially said that we will not proceed with them). They returned partition of the deposit but kept the rest saying that they're charging for design and consultation. It was never communicated to us that there will be any cost associated with quoting/designing/consulting as they're all offered complimentary as part of their service. Without our consent (nor simple explanation beforehand) they decided to keep our money. The contract was not finalised, nor signed by us as we did not agree to the final design, therefore the production or any other work has not happened. I am extremely upset that even though we were told that there will be no issue with returning the deposit, they changed their mind (now that we need the money more than ever). I feel mislead and mistreated. Their quote says that the deposit is nonrefundable but we did not even proceed to the contract, no work was done and we were assured that if we change our mind before production begins there will be no issue with returning the deposit. At NO STAGE anyone told us that there will be fees associated with anything if we pull out before signing the contract. If we knew it beforehand we would not be this silly to lose our money.

was paired with Nougat Ceaserstone. She gave some great ideas in terms of features with a hidden cupboard, integrated bins and microwave in a cupboard, which we love using in practice. We were scheduled to have our renovation done early August, but then lockdown hit. Alisha kept in touch each time the rules changed and our instal date changed accordingly. Happily in November the rules were sufficiently lifted for KUB to proceed. Nick, Anthony and Peter did an amazing job. A few unexpected issues came up relating to the floor, but all were dealt with, and great advice provided for areas outside scope of the job. We have no hesitation recommending the team at Bayswater .

your company then I wouldn’t need to look any further. I did however do one comparison price check with a well known company, but they didn’t offer the custom build to match Kitchens U Build and as my friends were impressed with your company I didn’t get a third price check.

I found your manner friendly, approachable and nothing was too much trouble when explaining or changing designs or needing clarification on doors etc. As our kitchen was due to be installed during the COVID 19 period, I was unsure whether the kitchen would be put on hold or could be installed. Lucky for us it could be installed on the scheduled date.

Your installers arrived on time and were efficient, hardworking and professional. They finished early in the afternoon on the day, which was an unexpected surprise. There was no damage to our walls/painting/door frames during the installation and their clean-up was great. There were a couple of small issues with hinge placement on our pantry doors and these were going to be replaced with a minimum of fuss.

When the new pantry doors were available, your installer returned to install them and he did an excellent job with care and precision - they look beautiful.

Your other suppliers, which was the Caesar stone supplier and the glass splashback supplier were excellent. Again their products were delivered and installed on the dates forecasted and the bench top looks beautiful. We went with a black glass splashback with the recommendation of the owner and it give the kitchen the WOW factor.

I have sent out photos to family and friends and we’ve received a resounding WOW - so I can’t wait for them to see it in person.

I’ve supplied a few before and after photos for your “photo album”. We are still to lay floor tiles and organise a couple of pendant lights which will happen when retail shops open again.

Once again – thank you for your help with your suggestions and the final design.

Don't waste your time or money – The install was scheduled for 16th and 17th October 2019. A majority of the measurements were wrong and after doing the best they could the installers were not happy and couldn't apologise enough about the major stuff up, they left us with an unusable kitchen and a huge amount of shelves, doors, boxes etc. under our see through stair case right… Read more

near the front door. For a month we had no kitchen, no word from KUB and a huge mess in view of everyone. When another installer came ( different from the first 2) he was shocked at how big the job was as he was not told and it took him 2 days to do what he could. January 28th 2020 was when we got our replacement bi fold doors and bin cupboard finished and that installer noticed we had rails missing from our drawer. During this time we had booked electricians and plumbers to come out when we were told the kitchen would be finished, as it wasn't finished due to wrong sizes made we were charged call out fees for them both. Also the 20ml bench I was told to order by KUB is to short for our original splashback as KUB made the cupboards to fit a 40 ml bench which looks ridiculous. Overall, what should have been a very exciting time for us has been a very stressful process.. oh and don't expect the manager to get back to you with any concerns because that definitely won't happen in a hurry.

Disaster - stay away from them - horrible, thieves, liars, cheaters – Don't fall for their polite conversations. Ordered a kitchen , they made me pick it up but they charged me for it. I picked up the flat pack and delivered on site left it with my cabinet installer when I come back I see instead of having 720 overhead cabinets they have given me 620 overhead cabinets, cabinets were already installed. You are better of going to a cabinet maker it will cost you the same or less, and they will install it for you and you won't have to deal with all the dramas. They do not honor their word. If they can shaft you they will.
