Kmart Anko 2000W Bagless

This is great little machine plenty of suction not over noisy does the job perfectly filters easy to clean all for $49 what more do you want highly impressed with this purchase

Cant believe such a cheap(Dyson look alike) vacuum cleaner is so powerful(2000W), light (3.5kg), easy to pull along and sucks so well. Was a bit skeptical as it was only $52! Just sucks the dirt, can see the barrel filing up with all the dirt, empty it out or wash out the plastic barrel, no big fuss or expense of getting new bags.
I made a good choice after all! Give it a go, for that price no big risk.

I've used this vacuum only once. Suction seems to be good, a little loud but that's OK.
My biggest issue was that it was scratching my floor. For whatever reason both this one and the 2200W one have the same floor vacuuming attachment. Only the backside of the addon has 2 small wheels. The front side (which is bare metal) simply drags all over the floor. Luckily my floor was concrete but I wouldn't dare using this on wood. Perhaps ok on carpets. The vacuum itself is OK. The floor attachment definitely needs replacing which is $30 or so online.

Bought in November 2021, won’t turn on anymore in May 2022. Very disappointed, waste of money. Would not recommend, best to spend a bit more on a product that lasts

I bought this as a quick and cheap solution after my old Dyson stopped working. I like the bagless cyclonic design and Dyson no longer owns the patent, so there are lots of brands to choose from these days.

The Anko works, but its foam filter clogs up much faster than my old Dyson’s filter. It needs cleaning every second use, whereas the Dyson would go at least 20 times longer between filter cleans. A high volume of dust particles are somehow getting past the Anko’s cyclonic system. But I still gave it 3 stars because it’s so cheap. That said, I’ll eventually replace the Anko with something better.

If you’re on a budget and have floorboards or hard style carpets (industrial, non plush) then for $47 this is not a bad machine.
However, if you have plush carpets or carpets that were once plush and not so plush now, I would not recommend.
You need to vacuum over and over on the same spot and sometimes bend down to dislodge or pick up fibres that it just can’t pick up.
You must empty the dust bucket and clean the filter VERY regularly or it won’t vacuum as well.
The hand held component is not as comfortable as other vacuums and you can tire easily, so if you have wrist issues consider this before purchasing.

Purchased form Kmart based on the reviews I saw here, usually trust the users but guess we are on different spectrums on this. I thought I would write a proper review (note this is my opinion). The price is good. Hard to fault that, although its not value. Light, so you can move it around but the handle (too short you may need to bend) is so light it doesn't allow you to properly vacuum. The suction on the vacuum is bad. I have carpet so the main reason you buy a vacuum but the suction is not strong enough. I had to go over the same area 4-5 ti

Good suction but overheat and shut down after 20minutes of continuous use. Good for vacuuming a car or a caravan, probably. Its pretty loud. I returned to the shop as it was still in warranty

Surprise, surprise, it’s dead two weeks after warranty has run out, and we only used it in a holiday house. It was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for! Suction is quite strong, but cord is too short, tube is easily clogged, it’s quite noisy and barrel doesn’t hold enough. Guess it would be ok for a small unit or as a car vac. I would not recommend.
