[Content Removed] and not in a good way – Major blocking issue in the floor brush all the way up into the extension tube. Impossible to clean properly. Used on mainly carpet and some Lino Show details
Falsely labelled as 2000W – Bought this as my old contempo started switching off periodically. Compared old 1800W Contempo to 2000W Anko and Anko had less suction and didnt do a good job on my carpet. Went and measured power on both and Anko is only 1320 Watts (see pic) not 2000W as advertised. While my old one runs at rated power 1800w. Gonna be returning Anko tomorrow. FALSELY ADVERTISED AS 2000Watts. Show details
Bought to use "wrong", not disappointed – I bought this for $47 to attach to a ceiling sander, and to clean up plaster sanding work. This was expected to fail. Yes I have a shop-vac, all it does is fire dust out the exhaust "hepa" filter kit, which alone costs more than this vac. Thoroughly impressed. The vacuum is very light duty machine, very soft plastics used, wouldn't survive too… Read more
many drops, but survived the 3 I gave it. It handled an industrial application without ejecting plastering dust back out the hepa exhaust filter.
Very small and nimble. Can break down and wash every part very easily.
When used in normal vacuum duties, it performs pretty well compared to a much more expensive Electrolux. The $500 electrolux only pulled up a small amount after running over it with the Kmart anko. This is using the small carpet head, not the "normal" one, as that gives better suction.
It survived pulling up some damp stuff, and pulled fresh paint from a carpet pile.
Under heavy work, the cord will heat up, this is where danger can be, in over working a light duty vacuum, setting the cord on fire.
For a cheap price this is perfect – I purchased this bag mid of 2019 and hasn’t failed on me and I don’t think it will any time soon. It’s affordable and works great. I had a cordless vacuum before that was a lot more expensive from Another store and only last me 2 months so Thankyou Kmart for supplying the good Show details
Just pulled apart this machine – This vacuum cleaner has a very clever No-filter filter. this means that when you lose suction you simply need to pull filter apart and clean no need to buy a new one. Power is strong enough to work with motorised brush head. if I could give a rating out of ten I would give 8 for the work achieved I think it's great. and of course if you want anything to serve you to its full potential be it a woman or any price technology you must look after it. Vacuum cleaner review – This is great little machine plenty of suction not over noisy does the job perfectly filters easy to clean all for $49 what more do you want highly impressed with this purchase Show details · 1
Makes cleaning chore effortless! – Cant believe such a cheap(Dyson look alike) vacuum cleaner is so powerful(2000W), light (3.5kg), easy to pull along and sucks so well. Was a bit skeptical as it was only $52! Just sucks the dirt, can see the barrel filing up with all the dirt, empty it out or wash out the plastic barrel, no big fuss or expense of getting new bags. I made a good choice after all! Give it a go, for that price no big risk. It is from K Mart Show details · 1
Reliable and convenient – Carpet and floorboards and tiles. Cleans well vary reliable and convenient doesn’t tip over good quality better than my previous Dyson. Good suction picks up most materials light weight easy wheels. Show details

Good Base, terrible add on – I've used this vacuum only once. Suction seems to be good, a little loud but that's OK. My biggest issue was that it was scratching my floor. For whatever reason both this one and the 2200W one have the same floor vacuuming attachment. Only the backside of the addon has 2 small wheels. The front side (which is bare metal) simply drags all over… Read more
the floor. Luckily my floor was concrete but I wouldn't dare using this on wood. Perhaps ok on carpets. The vacuum itself is OK. The floor attachment definitely needs replacing which is $30 or so online. The vacuum itself is $50 so definitely have returned it already. Kmart took it back without much question which is nice.
How difficult is it to put 2 more wheels (4 in total) on the floor vacuuming add-on? Makes the entire product unusable. Simply bad design.

Stops working after a few months – Bought in November 2021, won’t turn on anymore in May 2022. Very disappointed, waste of money. Would not recommend, best to spend a bit more on a product that lasts Show details

Value for money winner all day every day – Is this the best vacuum cleaner? No! Is this the best value for money new vacuum cleaner? Yes! This vacuum cleaner is a great little machine. It's straight forward, has a great suction, which it maintains for a long time before you need to clean the filter. The floor attachment and wand is excellent. It does have only basic filtration, (no hepa)… Read more · 1
so not recommended for allergy sufferers. The crevice tool is pretty disappointing, and the machine itself of course is very loud. I have personally have been using it very harshly vacuuming up tons of sand and fine dust and it is still great. Makes a $600 vacuum cleaner hard to justify regardless.
If you need a sacrificial vacuum or you don't want to trouble yourself dealing with second hand deals, grab one of these.
Pros: Incredible value for money Durable
Cons: Loud Average filtration

Insane value for money! – I bought the Anko 2000W vacuum as I was doing house renovations and needed a vacuum I could "trash". It's been great. It's pulled dust and rat crap out when I was cleaning out the old loft insulation. It's pulled up moss and leaves from roof and gutters. It's even been connected up to a wall channel router, which can throw out _obscene_ amounts… Read more · 1
of dust. AND it's served as a household vacuum for the few carpets and cleaning the Swiffer.
9 months on and it's beginning to strain. The switch needs cleaning, it's stuck. I'd love to replace the filter, given how often I've had to beat dust out of it. And the length of the cord IS super-annoying. And it tips over more often than an Alabama cow. The main floor head ALSO is a bit useless, so I have a more pricey model's one jammed on, which works Real Good. So overall, not "perfect".
But honestly - best $49 I've ever spent on a household appliance, INSANE value-for-money, and I'll probably clean it up and keep using it as long as it lasts, despite having a Dyson and expensive vacuum also on hand.
It's a steal for the price! – When I saw it in Kmart it was an almost a 100% copy of a vacuum cleaner from another more expensive brand (~150$ I paid a few years ago). I bought two one for the house and one for garage/backyard. It's been more than a year and both are functioning fine. The one for the garage /outdoor I use for anything without a doubt - dirt, sand, DIY construction dust and junk and it keeps working! Show details · 1
Poor cyclonic design – I bought this as a quick and cheap solution after my old Dyson stopped working. I like the bagless cyclonic design and Dyson no longer owns the patent, so there are lots of brands to choose from these days. The Anko works, but its foam filter clogs up much faster than my old Dyson’s filter. It needs cleaning every second use, whereas the… Read more
Dyson would go at least 20 times longer between filter cleans. A high volume of dust particles are somehow getting past the Anko’s cyclonic system. But I still gave it 3 stars because it’s so cheap. That said, I’ll eventually replace the Anko with something better.

Good for floors not carpet – If you’re on a budget and have floorboards or hard style carpets (industrial, non plush) then for $47 this is not a bad machine. However, if you have plush carpets or carpets that were once plush and not so plush now, I would not recommend. You need to vacuum over and over on the same spot and sometimes bend down to dislodge or pick up fibres… Read more
that it just can’t pick up. You must empty the dust bucket and clean the filter VERY regularly or it won’t vacuum as well. The hand held component is not as comfortable as other vacuums and you can tire easily, so if you have wrist issues consider this before purchasing.
Not recommended. Cheap but not recommended – Purchased form Kmart based on the reviews I saw here, usually trust the users but guess we are on different spectrums on this. I thought I would write a proper review (note this is my opinion). The price is good. Hard to fault that, although its not value. Light, so you can move it around but the handle (too short you may need to bend) is so light… Read more
it doesn't allow you to properly vacuum. The suction on the vacuum is bad. I have carpet so the main reason you buy a vacuum but the suction is not strong enough. I had to go over the same area 4-5 times before I thought something happened. I tried the tiles, same thing, had to go over a few times, in the end, used a brush. The bin size is alright, but device is not worth it. The vacuum doesn't really do what it is built for, pickup dust and particles. I would recommend looking at another product
Good for a caravan – Good suction but overheat and shut down after 20minutes of continuous use. Good for vacuuming a car or a caravan, probably. Its pretty loud. I returned to the shop as it was still in warranty Show details
You get what you pay for! – Surprise, surprise, it’s dead two weeks after warranty has run out, and we only used it in a holiday house. It was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for! Suction is quite strong, but cord is too short, tube is easily clogged, it’s quite noisy and barrel doesn’t hold enough. Guess it would be ok for a small unit or as a car vac. I would not recommend. Works well. Easy to use – Great value for money. Great suction on all floors. Massive dust catcher. Lightweight. Cleans all surfaces extremely well especially carpets. have used it frequently for over a month and is suckin' strong. Just remember to clean the filters every now and then. The only negative is that it could do with a longer hose fitting. Show details
Absolute piece of rubbish... not worth $5 absolute garbage – Doesn’t suck properly, always full, nozzle is too small... absolute piece of crap.. do not buy this even for $49... take to the tip and leave it there! Garbage garbage Show details

It does everything I need – Great cheap vacuum cleaner and it does everything I need. I do vacuuming twice a week and clean filters every two weeks or so. Not sure why people buy super expensive D***n vacuum cleaners for basic vacuuming... I can have ten of the cheap ones and return it to Kmart on warranty or simply throw it away when it breaks. Caught fire – I was reasonably happy with the vacuum until it started smelling of burning and smoking. The vacuum was empty so no blockages and only a couple of months old, wont be buying another one. Show details
Not bad for the price – Purchased a cheap vacuum that would get my family by until I could afford a better one. At first this vacuum worked quite well but after several uses it took several attempts to suck up dirt/hair/particles from the carpet but works better on lino and laminated floors. Being a bag less vacuum means you don's have to spend more money when replacing… Read more
the bags. This makes this vacuum much easier to clean. Not a bad product for the price or to just get you buy.
Very good – I mind mind using this vacuum created by Anko bought from kmart, it is cheap and worth the price, it works just as good as the expensive one, highly recommended
Best vacuum ever – I brought this product and using it since 1 year, it is fantastic and super value for money product. Best in performance specially if you have carpet and you need high suction. Show details
Impressive, affordable vacuum 2 years on – This is the only bagless vacuum I have owned that has lasted past the 1 year mark. I have previously spent double this amount on another brand only for the unit to clog up and become beyond economical repair. This vacuum is extremely impressive and still going strong! The vacuum does not tip over. The cord is a decent length which allows me to… Read more
clean room by room in their entirety. I have 2 dogs and it does a brilliant job at collecting their fur, and it is satisfying to see it all collected inside as you empty it.
This unit is extremely easy to clean, not too many steps involved in emptying the container. I use this on both tiles, all through my apartment, and on a carpet that sheds. Provided you are being reasonable with what you're vacuuming the unit will not get clogged. If any clogs occur it is an easy fix.
I wash it out thoroughly once a month and it looks good as new each time.
Very impressed. Give it a try. I know there are expensive models out there with a lot of hype surrounding them, but if you just have a smaller home this Kmart vacuum will absolutely suffice!
Excellent VALUE. Inexpensive and great vacuum for the price – For under $50 (bought this in Jan 2020 for $47), this is a fantastic vacuum cleaner. As I only have two bedrooms with carpet (rest of the flat is laminate flooring), I didn't want to buy a super pricey vacuum. This vacuum is great in terms of performance versus cost. It cleans the carpets more than adequately. Perhaps not the deep deep clean… Read more
of a $500 dyson, but I don't see any issues.
I've used it on the hardwood floors and it works just fine. You don't need super suction power for non-carpeted surfaces anyways. There are two attachments with this vacuum: the crevice brush tool for conrners and such, and a small upholstry vacuum head. The latter is great as I've used it on a couch already. My previous vacuum didn't have such an attachment.
I really like that fact that this is bagless (my first ever bagless one). Those bags were dirty and gross to empty. This Kmart one has a detachable part that contains all the vacuumed dirt and such. Just take it outside and empty it into a bag and then put it in the bin. Don't empty it inside.
The unit is small and easy to manoeuvre. I have tipped it over once or twice, but not a major problem. I just wasn't paying attention.
There are two other bagless units that Kmart sells. I chose this one because of the price and because the dirt container was not a primary concern. This one, which has 2000W power, has a small container. The 2200W and 2400W models (currently $69 and $95) are larger containers (they call it 'dust capacity'). If you have a lot of carpeted area, and find emptying the container annoying, you can get one of the pricier ones. You'd get a bit more power as well, and a few other nifty features (e.g., the 2200W and 2400W have HEPA filters).
Absolutely Excellent – This $49 Bagless vacuum is just brilliant! Being an ex Harvey Norman employee with the benefits of staff "cost pricing" of course I jumped on the Dyson bandwagon and bought a $1000 vacuum, trash, utter trash! Dyson for me will never again be on my shopping list! I thought that I'd try a "cheapie" from Kmart, I have a small unit with a school aged… Read more
daughter, timber floors, some carpet and of course the laundry and bathroom tiles. This thing is amazing, the suction is crazy, it lifts the carpet! I've had this vacuum for over 12 months now and the ease of use and the performance is just unreal! It empties easily, yes it sometimes rolls over, bit noisy, but anyone looking for a QUALITY cheap vacuum would find this one truly useful. For me it has been LITERALLY the best vacuum that I have ever used (and yeah I'm a bloke!) Two thumbs up, 5 stars! :)
Best cheapest vacuum I owned – This is my third vacuum in two years as most vacuum cleaners don’t have the suction I’m after I own a cat and after I used this vacuum I couldn’t believe the whole barrel was completely full of cat hair even though I had vacuumed with my older style vacuum only days ago. It definitely picks up! Barrel is easy to remove and put back. Works well… Read more
on different surfaces Cord isn’t very long and hose looks a little flimsy however I’m happy as it works.
Excellent powerful vac – Own this Vacuum for nearly 2 years and still going. Just need to clean the filter every now an then and the suction will come back that's no big deal (like every vac machine). the point is bagless. You don't need to buy bags all the time just for vacuum. Saves money. Also, very strong for a little vac machine. it cleans pet fur very well.… Read more
Unfortunately the broom roller stuffed up so we stopped using it. Still using fine with the other accessories. If your're looking for affordable and powerful vacuum. this is it. My mother-in-law purchased 2 of them lol and she's happy as well.
