Thanks for your reply. There is nothing more to share really, it is exactly as I've said. It often keeps going after the timer ends, the turn table has stopped rotating and the door is opened. I've tried pressing stop and clear but nothing works. I've read that some microwave fans may continue running at the end of the timer to cool down the microwave but I can't find anything about that in the booklet for this one. Returning it is very hard for me as I can't lift it and will need to wait until I can get help. I only want to do that if I really have to. Cheers P.S. It doesn't just keep going for a few seconds, it's several minutes.

It is suppose to do that, Rose. The manual says …”In any cooking mode where the time is above 2minutes …the oven fan will work about 3 minutes automatically to cool the oven for prolonging the life of the oven” (pg.9)

Thank you so much Jamie, I must have missed that in the manual. It's all I needed to know and now I won't worry anymore.

It's supposed to do that to cool your oven down or it will rust like my other well known brand did

this is my burning question as well. Not sure if i got a dud but the air fry function and the grill function take a good 3 times longer to cook than my old air fryer :/ so frustrating!!

Oh God.me too. I'm here after googling how to use this thing because the instruction manual is crap and I'm depressed at how long the air fryer and convection/ grill takes. Feeling some buyer remorse, want my ancient air fryer back!

Hi all, I guess we may have all worked it out by now… but if not, the answer is to leave in the roller base and the glass plate on top of it for all functions, including using the metal trays for grilling, oven function and air frying. (The only obvious point is not to use any metal trays for the microwave function only) I found the answer by looking at user guides for similar appliances.

Hi Trish, just wondering if when using the airfryer stand do you put the other metal tray under it on top of the glass tray? Thank you☺️

Hi @Lisa V. I only ever use one metal tray at a time. The glass plate stays in always. I don't believe it's designed to use two metal trays at once - think that might lead to overheating inside the oven. My thoughts anyway!

meant to add - the high stand for airfrying and the low metal plate for grilling :)

On page 13 of the manual (https://www.kmart.com.au/wcsstore/Kmart/pdfs/43151585_Manual.pdf) it has a list of the different pre-set menus in the order they appear when selecting the menus using the dial - beverages, frozen pizza, fresh veggies, frozen veggies, oatmeal, potato, pork lion, pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, and salmon fillets.

Hi... This is what I was using - there are symbols on the screen lit up - I don't know what the symbols are. Was using the Roast Potato A-9 - - symbols where shown on the screen and I don't know what they mean - there is no reference in the manual for what the symbols mean ..

Thanks for reaching out, Neets. There are 6 pre-set menus and you can change the time the dish cooks for by entering the code using the weight of the food which will cook it for the correct amount of time by the weight of the food, or using one of the preset menus.

Can you use the air fryer setting by setting a temperature and time or do you only have the option to use 6 pre-set menus and just change the time? What if I want to cook bacon or something else not in the 6 food pre-set options. Please send instructions as your manual gives you nothing.

You have not answered the question that has been asked multiple times. I'm assuming it's not possible to set your own time and temperature and have to use the preset settings. This is ridiculous and should be stated somewhere in the item description.

I have returned the item as it is not an air fryer. It should be taken off of the shelves for false advertising. Waste of everyone’s time.

Hi Racheal, there aren't any recipe books that come with our convection microwave air fryer combo, but almost anything that can be made in the microwave or cooked in a regular fryer can be cooked in this so we'd recommend checking out some regular air fryer recipes online :)
