Waste of Time
I subscribed for Know Pet Insurance for my Cavalier cross Ruby, sent the Medical history from Vet to assess for any pre-existing conditions, sent reminder twice to at least get an acknowledgement and ETA as response to my first email, but nothing.
In the end, out of frustration I sent an email asking if its ok for me to cancel the insurance because Know team doesn't care to respond. Guess what...

ing of the email "We are Sorry to see you go". My response was that Knose Team should be ashamed instead of Sorry. Only thing I got out of this was 21 days wasted as cooling off period and time is money. Better look for other providers than keep waiting for the response from Knose. Very happy! No Sub-limit, very fast claim
I made my first claim recently for my little puppy's vomiting and diarrhea condition, the claim was assessed quick and no question asked! easier than I thought, which I will now recommend to all my friends!! very happy!
Customer service Lisa & Emma (and 1 more lady which I forgot her name) are all very helpful! Thank you!
p.s. I bought 90% cover, which I now think it worth it, as for little puppy, you never know what condition will he/she be suffered from.

ing period for Hip dysplasia & Elbow dysplasia which seems unreasonable as my Vet reject to conduct X-ray on my little puppy as she mentioned it is risky for puppy and she would only allow adult dog to take X-ray, also she mentioned those 2 conditions are one of the most expensive medical expense among dogs, which most of other insurance wouldn't required X-ray for waiving waiting period for such condition, and in the end, I wasn't able to waive the waiting period for those 2 condition, which means there is nothing I can do apart from praying that my puppy won't have such condition within the first 6 months, otherwise I might be facing a huge vet bill.Similar opinion? What a joke
I got a puppy a month ago from the country, a unique breed so was initially impressed that this company recognised this breed. I saw the vet on 22 of december for injection and clean bill of health. She was put on flea treatment because she was itching although there were no signs.. I bought a paid for insurance on December 30 2020. 4 days later my puppy was still itching. She ended up having a slight ear infection. Because of that they will not cover ear or skin issues. I am cancelling my insurance within the 21 day cooling off period. Poi...Read more
nt being, she was insuranced when this unfortunate ear problem came up. I was not trying to make a claim. If I was trying to scam I would have waited tge 2 week period before taking her to the vet. BAD Customer Service
Joined Knose yesterday and called them about the coupon code issue (we accidentally applied 5% off coupon instead of 10% off coupon) this morning. It took a while to finally speak to customer service.
In my first phone call, a staff [name removed] answered my call and I was told I am not eligible to use 10% code (shown in Knose website) because it is not for everyone. However, it was not true as I successfully applied the code to a new quote after hanging up the phone.

(screenshot attached) My partner made the second call and [name removed] said we cannot use the code as we already accepted the policy. She mentioned she would contact their technology team, but we do not believe it will really happen according to her impatient tone. It is unacceptable that a customer service staff provides misleading information to a new customer in the first place and no customer deserves such service experience.Similar opinion? Can't thank you enough
I took out my Knose policy last year after realising that my pet insurance rates were rising astronomically and I was not getting my money's worth. I also liked that they are an Australian company. I was incredibly grateful that I changed, because my dog injured her vertebrae and had to spend almost three weeks at the Vet hospital with scans, tests, medicine and intense physio. Knose paid the bill incredibly fast and the process could not have been easier. This was such a stressful time but knowing that I was going to get 90% back allowed me to relax and let the vets do their work. My lovely groodle is walking now after three months with only a slight limp. Thank you for being there for us.

Profession and fast
Did my research and settled on a Knose 90% policy, first test came a few weeks ago with a grass seed infection. Submitting the claim was super easy, and Knose were quick to confirm they were running with it, getting paperwork from vet and then paid out 90% within about 10 days over the Christmas holiday period. Impressed all round, easy process and no nasty surprises.

Great Coverage, Great Claims Process, Can't be Happier
Really happy about this insurance, my 6 month old puppy broke his leg and was able to see the best surgeon and was given the best possible care. This is such a peace of mind for me and the stress it saved me was priceless

Great benefits, great service. Exactly what I hoped for!
I did my research with pet insurance and for my breed of dog, Knose offered the best price and benefits. The online quick quote was easy and same with setting up the policy. I had to lodge a claim for my dog who encountered an ear infection that required some ongoing treatment over several weeks. Great Pet Insurance
Knose have provided great support both through a minor emergency and also with the fast compensation of the claim after the event. What I love best is the fact that they offer 24 hour vet service for advice. Great for new pet owners!

Nothing but praise for Knose
I researched pet insurance for a few days before deciding to go with Knose. Difficult decision as I could not find any reviews (pre January 2020) but I rang their customer service with a couple of questions and was impressed that they didn’t push to sign me up.
Unfortunately we had to make quite a few claims as our little tiboodle got quite sick and was hospitalised twice. Knose has been brilliant with all of the claims and paid out the 90% as per the policy which saved us over $10k. Customer service is very professional but also has a personal touch on the phone and via email. I cannot recommend them highly enough so much so that our local vet is going to recommend them when they have insurance inquiries.

I have had a great experience so far with Knose - all Australian responsive Customer Service. Best of all, they don't have sub-limits - making it different for the other policies.

Sounded just what I was looking for but disappointed
I have all 3 of my Toy Poodles insured with KNOSE since they were 12 week old puppies. I choose KNOSE as their policies stated that they cover hereditary conditions, some bilateral conditions and also they cover patella conditions. As I have Toy Poodles who are prone to hereditary patella conditions I made sure I insured them whilst they were young. ths. My toy poodle needs operations on both her knees, but KNOSE will not cover this! At 5 months of age she went to the vet to have some baby teeth removed and they noted she has slightly luxating patellas, as this was in her notes and within the first 6 month period KNOSE has rejected her claim, which took them 4 weeks to advise me on. Although I am disappointed I do realise that I infact did not understand the policy, I interpreted it incorrectly. I have advised KNOSE that they should seriously reconsider their wording in their policy, so that it is clear to consumers. The most worrying thing to me is that I stated this fact on a post from KNOSE on Facebook and now I am unable to comment on any of their posts, they have blocked me. All I stated was to read your policy carefully and make sure you understand it. I was polite and just stating the facts and my comment was removed. I think that consumers should be aware to read and understand their policies so that they don't find themselves in my position.1 comment

Knose for pet insurance that is straight forward and excellent value for money
When searching for pet insurance for my new puppy I was looking for a high level of cover with limited exclusions (at a good price) and Knose really stood out from the rest. Finally a PDS that was easy to understand.
I have only been with them 6 months, but I have been really impressed with every interaction. My recent claim was dealt with extremely quickly, and I was kept up to date through the whole process. Knose’s communication is always personal and you are not treated like a number. I could not recommend them more highly, in fact I have already referred a friend who has switched.

Hi, the PDS says Pre-existing condition is illness which first occurred before the first period of insurance or during waiting period. Does that mean that if my pet had a condition/symptom ever in their lifetime before signing up, that automatically gets excluded from coverage regardless of whether it was cured? E.g. 1 day of diarrhea 2yrs ago and has not experienced it since - will that mean diarrhea & related issues will not be covered for the pet? How do you determine if a condition is pre-existing, or if it is a new unrelated condition with same/similar symptoms?

We understand some conditions are temporary and if applicable we will consider them treated before the policy is taken out or when a listing a Pre-existing Condition inform you of when it may be reviewed.
We encourage our customers to request a Pre existing condition assessment during their 21 day cooling off period to ensure they are able to make an informed decision on the right policy for their pet. As part of this assessment we will review any conditions/symptoms in the clinical history as provided by your vet and advise of any reviewable periods or exclusions that may apply.

Has anyone found that Knose are significantly more expensive than other providers? I've just gone through the online quote system for 2 dogs and the rate is nearly 4 times higher than RSPCAs! Just about every comment here says they're great value so I'm really confused. Has everyone here made a lot of claims?!
