Highly recommend

Very fast and efficient process. Got the money on my account 2 weeks after lodging a claim. I was able to attach multiple invoices in one claim as well, which was really handy. Show details

Very streamlined process now for my monthly accounts

After a shaky start with this claim in August last year my experience has been outstanding since except for a couple of missed claim payments I needed to chase up on. This claim is a long tail one as my dog had a 26 week Chemo program and now re visits to check. I am lucky to have had you guys. Show details

Couldn't care less about you or your pet

Appalling customer service. I made a claim a month ago. One reply then all my follow up emails have been ignored. No answer. No acknowledgement. Happy to take your money but no interest in your claim, won't be continuing.. Waste of time and money. Show details

First claim. Great experience

I have been with Knose for 13 months. I changed from a different provider when I got a second pet. The claim was easy to make through the portal.
I was updated through the process of lodging a claim through to the result.
All communication was clear and professional. It was resolved within 2 weeks. Show details

Excellent service abs value for money

Knose staff have been prompt, efficient and very friendly. They process claims promptly, send emails to update me on progress on my claim and then email a benefit statement. The premium is very reasonable and they’ve paid 70% of all eligible claims without any issues. I highly recommend them! Show details

Knose pet insurance

Overall I am happy with knose service, claims take a little long to settle, that’s the only real problem. Been with them over two years now, they, are competitive priced and genuinely seem to care about
My Dogs health. They are also one of very few insurers not underwritten by the Hollard group in the pet insurance market. Show details ·  1

Communication and Claim Times are Awful

We have been with Knose for three years now and have made multiple claims. In the beginning they were ok. However in the last year, their comms and claim times have been awful. My most recent claim has taken over two weeks to even respond. They keep asking for different information which differs each time I contact them. I am now three weeks into a small and simple claim, still no outcome, no contact, no information. Time to look for another provider. Show details

Great Pet Insurance

I've had multiple claims with KNose and always had a good experience. They sometimes took a little while, but all my claims were paid accurately. Never had any issues. KNose is a great pet insurance - and I'm usually quite suspicious of ANY insurance provider. ;-) Show details

Knose has been fantastic! I have had to make some large claims for my two dogs over the last few years and the team has always been very helpful and caring. I definitely recommend them as a pet insurer. Show details

Questions & Answers

Charbel S.

Hi. I was interested in getting pet insurance. I have read the pds but i would just wondering if you could help me out?

1) my dog has eaten a chicken bone but didn't suffer any major problems. ie: surgery. She just got an upset stomach. If she ate something sinister and needed emergency surgery for foreign body; will it still be covered even though she ate a bone in this year? again, didn't need surgery, vet checked her stomach and no blockage.

2) she has gotten blood tests this year. Would this count as a pre-condition if she needed another one? Will it be covered?

3) I thought she was walking funny but the vet checked her knees and they were fine. Is this. Considered pre existing condition?

Hi there, do you need the vet consultation notes to be emailed through/attached when making a claim, every time? I understand that you may want an initial set of notes, but do you need me to send them through with every claim, or is a receipt enough? Some vets don't let you have consultation notes and they can take weeks to do the claim, so I prefer to do it myself. Thanks!
