Very good quality and interesting design – The protector arrived very quickly, which I appreciated. The fabric was very high quality, it certainly won't be tearing or letting us down any time soon. The design was also interesting as, instead of the design I was used to which goes on like a fitted sheet, but it actually enveloped the mattress like a huge zipped up case. Terrible customer service – So I ordered this protector from their website, with no indication there wasn’t any stock. It wasn’t something I was willing to wait around for being a fairly mundane item, I would have just bought one from somewhere else. and they told me it’d only be a few weeks away. After this timeframe came and went, I again contacted them and was told it’d be another 1-2 months, at which point I asked for a refund and was told that I would get one.

So instead of getting my money back, they decide to send me a mattress protector almost straight away instead, but after being promised a refund, I had already purchased a new one from a different company that had arrived. We tried the koala protector seeing as it had arrived, but found that it was so tight it changed the comfort of the mattress, and also felt plastic like under of sheets.

So after preferring the much cheaper protector we had bought in the meantime, I again contacted koala via the ‘WhatsApp’ option that I had found best to actually get a response from, and asked for the refund on the item I had been promised. I was happy to send back the other protector despite the inconvenience. Well, I didn’t get a response, and after ten messages over many days there was nothing but complete silence on the other end.

After submitting a negative review, I finally got a call from a lovely lady, who was awesome to deal with and went above and beyond for me to get it sorted. But despite this, I’m still so annoyed with the whole process and think that there whole communication was totally deplorable, and that it shouldn’t wait until a negative review to get a response. So sorry to that lady for still giving this company 1 star, but I don’t think they’ll learn a lesson if I didn’t give my honest review.
