Hi. Does anyone know how to fix a split screen? I had to update the firmware a week ago and since then there’s a split screen and no matter what I do. I’ve contacted the help centre but they are very unhelpful :/

upon switching on it displays "loading" then switches to standby . Any help? Regards Tommy
update ....I downloaded the firmware from their homepage, after several tries using remote control button still wouldnt work , then i tried stby button on side of tv, after applying power i started the tv with the stby button when led turned green i held the button in and tv then started the download. Hope this helps as it seems to be a common problem
Can yo please give us all the TV firmware update for the 55 inch model. I have contacted support who keep sending us a TV firmware link that refuses to "save as" so am unable to move it to USB. As so many others are having problems I must wonder if you even have an update. The Firmware update for this TV is not at Kogan help as you mention.
Hey all. I bought a second hand 55" series 8 recently, trying to connect to "Smart View" on my Samsung s8. Phone can't find any devices. So do I need Chromecast to connect? How do I know if the tv has Chromecast? Is it standard? And is Smart View like a HDMI type thing where I could stream what's on the phone? I'm wanting to use my VPN from my phone as I've run out of devices for the service and want to watch something on an American site. If none of that is an option, is Bluetooth good for anything? This model tv doesn't have it but i have a Bluetooth USB plug in I can use. Or finally, is there a way to connect HDMI from phone to tv, obviously phones don't have the HDMI port but is there any other solutions you guys can think of for me please? I’m having trouble with my KALED 55KU8000SZC. iOS been working fine for the last week but now all of a sudden it won’t turn on. It has power to it and I can turn it on but it won’t go past the loading screen it turns itself off after about 20 seconds. I’ve tried unplugging it, leaving it for a bit and plugging it back in but it makes no difference. I can’t do a reset because I can’t get into the tv to do it. It’s really frustrating me. Any ideas?

Constantly zoomed in when in full screen don’t know how to fix it! I’ve played around with all the aspects and it still cuts of part of the screen?
KALED55KU8000SZC - Gets to Kogan loading screen and stays for about 20secs then switches back to standby. Please advise where the firmware update is for this model and I can attempt to resolve - the TV is less that 4months old.

Hi, I'm experiencing several issues with my Kaled55KU8000SZC TV.
1. It fails to remember the CEC settings for the soundbar. I'm required to go to Function and turn on CEC each time I either turn TV on or when I've gone from TV to apps for example. Due to no Optical input I've set the soundbar via HDMI (CEC) port.
2. Had to do a factory reset twice since unpacking TV over the past 24 hours due to freezing and shutting done unexpectedly.
3. I'm unable to find a firmware upgrade for this model.
And they are only the issues so far until I'm able to get it functioning how it should?

Make sure the HDMI control or HDMI cec is turned on on both devices.make sure the HDMI cable is in the HDMI arc port on TV.if the soundbar doesn't mention Dolby make sure the digital output on TV is set to pcm.make sure any option to outsource sound via arc on TV is turned on.once this is all done turn both devices.turn TV on and when's on fully then turn on the soundbar.my son did this to his TV and says it works.I actually have spdif coax to optical converter to connect TV to soundbar via optical cable.but my son doesn't and he says that the above worked for him.hope that helps
