Australia Pure Comfort mattress was a dream to lie on in the shop. The quality of the mattress and covering was far superior to all the others we looked at. Yes it’s more expensive than some of its competitors however seeing the mattress may last up to 20 yrs - it’s very good value. We dealt with Maxine from the Springwood showroom who was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and extremely helpful in assisting the best mattress for our needs. The ordering process was easy and delivery punctual - the delivery team even said” you have bought well - we never have to return this brand” For the older buyers - Making the bed is a easy task now as the mattress is quite light - no more lifting a heavy innerspring mattress to change the sheets. or on the mattress itself. It is a pure comfort however the handles sewn on it say "pure indulgence". Not an issue, just no way for me to confirm it is soft-medium-soft, I assume it is. Despite the sales and marketing claims, the mattress is indeed hotter to sleep on than an innerspring. We do not sleep with a mattress protector now due to this, and were using a 100% cotton non water proof protector. I was really hoping what I was told was true about it being cooler, despite the reviews I read of people complaining how hot it is. To be fair we have gotten used to it now, and it is only an issue on those hot nights. It's a trade off I suppose for the benefit that the latex provides, however it is misleading to say that it is cool to sleep on. The holes in our 3 latex layers do not line up. I am wondering if they are supposed to in order to provide the proper ventilation? I suffer from chronic insomnia, and while it has not cured that, my insomnia has improved due to my increased comfort. I can stay asleep on my back for longer, and I no longer wake up or move when my husband gets into bed. It would have been nice to have received some after sales follow up, considering the investment it was. The pre sales support was excellent however. The sister company Pure Trio is annoying. They hounded me via email every few days until I replied back that I had purchased a pure comfort, then radio silence, not even a congratulations.

we'd had it for a long period of time, as various friends had told us about latex mattresses they had bought (not the Latex Mattress Australia brand) that had sagged after a few months. Well, a year later and our mattress still feels as good as new. It is so comfortable that my husband and I have a deep sleep every night - no tossing or turning at all. We wake up every morning feeling rested and refreshed. Our backs hardly ever ache anymore, and we find we have to pay a lot less for osteo and remedial massages (which we used to have regularly due to back and neck issues). The only downside to buying this bed is that when we go away on holidays the bed at the hotel is rarely as comfortable - so we are always glad to come home to our own bed. I could not rate our Latex Mattress Australia bed highly enough.

firmer feel did take a couple of weeks to get used to but there has definitely been an improvement in our back pain since purchasing the mattress.

It’s hard to comment on the change in my quality of sleep as I have a 1 year old (so proper sleep is a luxury) but the mattress is very comfortable and has maintained its shape and firmness in the time we have had it.

The customer service we received when purchasing the mattress was excellent. Informative and helpful without being pushy.

heat!! I was already experiencing this heat issue with the memory form topper I was using (i thought it was the summer temperature but was still hot in early winter too). My husband has multiple health issues with his arthritis and I have suffered bursitis with hard beds, in the past. Once we laid on this mattress, we felt like we were floating on a cloud, moulded to our bodies. There are no hot spots, which was one of my major concerns. The latex is cool. There is no partner disturbance either. We also purchased the KIng Flexirest adjustable bed frame. What a dream bed we have! natural latex and no harmful chemicals that would off-gas as we had previously had an organic wool mattress, I must say the natural latex is a lot more comfortable! Our only disappointment would be still waiting to hear from the company regarding an adjustable base that does not contain any harmful foams, chemicals etc as the one trialled in-store is not free of the fire retardants etc that can off-gas.

There is now no motion from one side of the bed to the other when one person rolls over during their sleep. I am also confident that there will be no sagging. My advice is shop in a store where you can exchange for a non latex mattress if latex doesn't suit you. The exchange only works for other latex mattresses.
