improvement in shoulder pain. We have positioned them beside each other so that we can independently control bed position for reading, tv etc. I use the “snore” setting for sleep and my husband reports that i no longer snore! Nor do i disturb him when i roll over. We use standard king single sheets. I like the fact that the latex is a natural sustainable product which has a 20 year guarantee, unlike our old inner springs which began to sag after 10-12 years. The service from the company was great- manufactured in 2 weeks, delivered, set up and took our old bed away. Make sure you understand the measurements - long singles are narrower than king singles and i am not sure about buying sheets in that size. If you get King singles like us, be sure to measure your room as they are wider than a king.

superior due to the extra layering and the soft-firm-soft combination. What also stood out to us was the customer service at the showroom. Jane was both very friendly, professional and nothing was too hard for her. We spent an hour just laying around the place and she just kept on making us feel more and more comfortable. If you are considering purchasing the mattress but are worried about the delivery, don't be. The mattress came in perfect condition, it was folded, but as soon as we placed it on the bed it was ok to sleep on. One thing to remember is that you will need a couple of strong individuals to unpack and move it around. It is solid and heavy. Once in place it is a dream cloud to sleep on!

not too soft, not too hard, just 100% perfect and so darn comfortable! Please don't think that I give such praise lightly or write these reviews for fun. I don't. My body is well used, I have many broken bits that need looking after and oh my goodness, these latex beds are simply exceptional. They're not cheap to buy but really are amazing value. And after 18 years, my old mattress was still absolutely perfect in every way, no sagging, no divets, no nothing except perfection! How is that possible? When I bought it, they said it had a 20 year warranty which I thought was pretty good and I'd probably get 8-10 good years out of it before it started to deteriorate. But No, it's as good at 18 years old as it was the day I bought it! Why did I buy a new one? My wife and I have moved into a new apartment and needed a bigger, King Size bed and my daughter has now taken possession of my old mattress and she raves about it as much as me! So though I have only had my beautiful new mattress for 2 months and it's no better than the last one (except a size bigger), it is also absolutely exceptional (as good as the last one!), super comfortable, not too hard, not too soft and just perfect in every way!

normally sleep on my back and I used to get out of bed with a stiff and sore back. My husband sleeps on his side and he used to feel achy after lying on his side for a while, thus making him toss and turn throughout the nights. We have done lots of googling and research before we decided to go to the Mosman showroom and have a look at this brand. When we tried lying on the mattress for the first time in the Mosman showroom, we were sold. Sam, the softly- spoken store manager, was so friendly and patient with us. He explained to us that as we aged, though the general belief is a firm mattress is good for our back, we need a layer of softer mattress in between so not to be too hard on our more fragile bodies. Hence, he suggested that the soft-firm-soft mattress would suit us better than a totally firm one, esp with our aches and pains. My first impression of the mattress was truly a pure indulgence to lie on it, like being cuddled by clouds. I cannot put into words the feel of comfort and luxury. These nights we can't wait to get into bed!! Honestly it is not a cheap mattress, but we think it is an investment that worth every cent. I was worried whilst waiting for delivery that I would not like it since there is no trial and return like other brands. But 3 months on, my worries have been proved unnecessary. We have a King split bed base that allows us, at the press of a button, to personalise our own sleeping preferences. It even comes with the massage function which is soothing and relaxing. We can't thank Sam enough for explaining to us all that the bed can do for us. He is such a lovely gentleman who never tried to sell or push us on anything. I finally chose to 'jump in' and spend 50% more than I had previously ($4,000) It was worth it! – For the previous four years I had Two mattress's - from a well known brand - but after 18 months they had a mini mountain in the middle and a sense of falling off the edge of the mattress if I rolled too close. it be on your back or side. The feeling of having a good night's sleep can only be described as a stillness that I feel every morning when I wake. My body feels like it has been able to release the days tension, relax, reset and revitalise itself. The sleep I get feels like nothing before. For someone who has a physical job, the perfect nights rest has amazingly helped to improve the health of my back, flexibility, mood and movement throughout the day. Game changer!

As for many, sleep is just what you do. You look forward to good night's sleep, you pass out exhausted and yet if you wake up the next morning feeling tired, like you never slept or could do with a few more hours, we never question why? Having now slept on and experienced the Pure Indulgence mattress for so some time now, I can attest that in my case this was the void.

The old adage that the best things for you never come cheap has a lot of truth. The Pure Indulgence is no exception. However, I now ask myself, what has that decades of average night's sleeps cost actually cost me?

What I didn't know then, I can't erase. But what I have done for my future self now, is priceless.

Im hot around 3am - but that’s a stage of life thing and it is summer after all :) I don’t believe it has anything to do with the mattress.

There were no fumes with my mattress - although it had been a demo in the shop before making its way to its forever home.

I acknowledge It’s a very expensive mattress (even discounted!) and I purchased un-tested …. Relying solely on the reviews - but I’m a very happy sleeper.

This is the third mattress I have purchased from LMA (two for gifts and the last one for me!) and I’ve never been disappointed.

I first came across one of the Latex Mattress Australia Mattress's when I stayed for a week at an Air BnB in Sydney. Throughout the week, I noticed feeling more refreshed and productive without extra sleep. Looking at my watch (Garmin), I noticed my resting heartbeat was reduced, and my sleep quality was improved.

Returning home, however, I observed the inverse. My sleep, not noticeable to me but traced by my watch, showed a decline, and my resting heartbeat seemed to increase by a couple of beats.

At first, I did not think anything of it, assumed we have ups and downs with our sleep patterns and was thankful for a seemingly great week of sleep in Sydney.

I noticed this same phenomenon again, returning to Sydney and staying at the same BnB.

I talked to my wife, who also commented about a difference in sleep quality and comfort. So we decided to look the mattress up and noted a store close by... The staff were very polite and not overbearing, which was refreshing: they were very knowledgeable of their products. They took the time to go through some of the science and body positionings as you sleep (As an engineer, I found it rather intriguing). We went through the range and came across Pure Indulgence with the adjustable base. I'll admit, I heard the price, and my bottom lip wobbled. Thankfully there is a store in Brisbane, so when we returned home, we could go to view the product further with them. We took some time to discuss the product, and again it was refreshing that the sales team were not pushy and remained helpful through the process.

We went for it...

For a while, I had that horrible feeling of concern that we've just spent that money on a bed; however, I am converted. The quality of sleep and the impact that it has had on our day-to-day lives has been noticeable. I do not regret a penny and wish we had known about these sooner...

If I was to give one bit of criticism, the adjustable base when you sit it up, the table is behind you... So getting your tea etc...

If, as the mattress lifted, it could slide back, staying in line with your bedside table, or it had a foldable table out the side to rest your tea on??? First world problems we no...

Mattress is well worth the cost – Purchased a Pure indulgence king size as an upgrade from our Queen size latex from another brand. core with soft either side. Luckily I wasn’t able to see this in person because I wouldn’t have purchased what seem to be such a soft mattress. When it was delivered I thought it was going to be too soft. “Pure Indulgence” indeed… my first night was bliss such a soft comfortable top but great support from the firm middle layer. The website suggest going with the firm if you are over 90kg and this has been a great purchase for me. I have come from a Memory Foam mattress and decided on the latex as it was meant to be cooler to sleep on. I am pleasantly surprised that it does seem to breathe better and keep me cooler on hot nights. Very happy with the mattress and the service from LMA.

The bed was delivered and assembled in regional NSW after 3 weeks, the service was excellent. Although this bed was a sizeable investment, we are very happy with our purchase and our quality of sleep has improved a lot.

A lot to pay but worth every penny – It took me a while to reconcile myself to two key aspects of buying this mattress. Pure Indulgence King size purchase. The sales lady Melissa was very helpful having to answer numerous phone calls and with her recommendation and knowledge of the products available we decided to purchase the Pure Indulgence mattress, does not disappoint.

2. Despite ordering a firm, firm, firm mattress, the mattress was very soft compared to the display model. Even after 3 weeks, we felt like sleeping on a WATER BED. In our desperation (the mattress cost was $9,000), we removed the top layer of the mattress and is now firmer.

It is certainly different from the mattress we tested in the showroom and we went there twice to test it.

Having 2 layers of latex mattress instead of 3 layers of Pure Indulgence, we could have bought a Pure Support for half the price.

3. In addition to the disappointing experience so far, we received a call on 9 August asking us how we feel about the mattress. We related our experience to her and she asked us to send photos of the mattress that we removed and email to them. Instead of getting in touch with us to discuss the issue, they sent us a marketing email today. Very disappointing
