the fact they upgraded my home to have fibre to the premise within a week for FREE was unreal. I would suggest you try launtel out yourself. A true Australian grown telco.
Shop around then go here and see the different experience – I tried 5 ISPs before settling with Launtel. person, there mobile service compared to the other two providers, is like day and night in comparison to speed and availability, so have just had my internet through them also. Launtel have been fantastic to deal with. Had a slight issue not been able to achieve the upload speed, however this was an issue on my end, and was quickly rectified. Their customer serve team even check in after this was raised with them, and made sure it is all 100%.
The way their portal works, you can slow speeds if you are not going to be home for a period of time, or if you have a bunch of data thieving teenagers over, you can change to max speed with a few clicks to make sure you can still do what you need for work.
Could not recommend them enough, I am now getting a ping less then half of what Telstra could offer (1.3-1.6Ms) and the speeds are always above the advertised peak periods, you would not even know you are in a peak period. Not the cheapest, however is the best I have come across!!

the same, best I've had, no fuss, you get what you're promised. Unfortuantely my circumstances stange so I have since left Launtel recently but they were absolutely fantastic, if you're even considering them, just do it 100% worth it.

Changing speeds is able to be done on a daily basis which is fantastic for budget control. Customer support is highly responsive.

they were asking for Payment upfront with no Wi-Fi Service and I have the MODEM etc from having Aussie Broadband a home already to go with a new provider. Six stars. They were happy only after I was happy – The 5 star rating says it all. 98% positive, 1% negative. I wonder what happened to the other 1%. Nothing but positive. It is fast like being on the company LAN. The helpdesk staff is technically savvy and did not hesitate to help me to configure a router that was unknown to them. Best ISP for stability, customer service and plan changes :-) – Gave the 1000/400 Fast AF plan a crack for the day.....order went through within 5 minutes and had near 400Mb upload speed straight away AAAAA+++++ Tried Aussie for a month and was getting dropouts of an evening...Launtel have been stable 99% of the time(apart from your usual NBN updates etc). service :-) I have also been able to activate a second port on the NTD to enable multiple ISP's when I have been travelling and staying with friends and family when there plans/ISP's don't cut it compared to Launtel's reliability and service :-)

and need to get files uploaded as fast as possible is a godsend. When work is quieter I can drop down to 100/20 or 50/20 to keep my costs down.
I have also signed up my parents up who were on Optus FTTN and were getting 52/12 DOWN/UP on a 100/40 DOWN/UP plan with optus always blaming the distance and quality of the node in the area. I moved them to Launtel, and Launtel had them switched over to them from Optus in less than 20 minutes from creating an account and signing them up on the Launtel website which I think is amazing.
The best part was that even using the Optus supplied FTTN modem (a Sagemcom Gateway F@ST 3864v3) with absolutely no config changes except a reboot of the modem they were getting 98/19 Mbps DOWN/UP. 20 minutes after creating an account and asking to be ported from Optus NBN FTTN. Truly unbelievable.
This just proves how badly the major ISP's treat their clients, pushing blame for their poor service onto the NBN network when in fact it is the major ISP's underprovisioning their wholesale CVC bandwidth they are purchasing from NBNco to try and squeeze every last dollar from their users and shifting the balme to the government/NBNco. This happens with pretty much every major ISP in the country. It is shameful.
Absolutely none of this from Launtel, they are transparent, ehtical and provide exceptional service. They might cost a little more than other ISP's because of this but it truly is worth it, epspecially if you rely on fast and reliable internet for your profession as I do.
One last thing, they even allow you to order a free FTTP upgrade when you sign up and organise the NBNco techncian to come out and install the Fiber NTD for you. Optus would not offer that at all when I asked, they said I would need to contact NBN directly and that they would not be liable for any costs that would be incurred. Shame on Optus/Telstra/TPG and the rest. Rock on Launtel!

Launtel, awesome, but expensivve – Absolutely fantastic support. Never dealt with another company that responded as quickly, or as professionaly as these kids. 10/10 Speed. Fantastic. This is the best internet speeds in Australia! – I signed up for 1000/400 and get 850-940 down and a constant 300-350 up. Changed from another provider because I was on 1000/50 and tried uploading a video to YouTube one day and it was going to take 30 minutes. Bit expensive I might add at $9 a day (or $270 a month) but it's worth it for what I use.
Had a only one drop out without notice and that was fixed within 10 minutes. I'm impressed by customer service and how fast technical issued are fixed.
Love the launtel facebook group for quick notification of upcoming issues and to relay information to the users!
