last tub of peanut butter from the grocery shop with someone nearby, maybe I would take the home brand one from the bottom shelf. Probably not that extreme but you get my point, it was just something that was always in the back of my mind especially in summer. They say your mobile is always listening, but maybe it is now also smelling! as while I was sitting on the couch scrolling facebook I seen an ad for this Lavilin product with bold claims AND a free trial. It gave a story about being used in WW2 and is now available in Australia, which to be honest I don't believe any of the marketing jargon, but I thought, let me just see if this is actually free and at least give it a try.

Clicking through the ad for the free sample, they do try and upsell you on some other samples for only like $1 or $2 dollars but I didn't want to give them my card details that easily so I didn't accept any of the offers besides the free sample, which to their credit ended up being completely free, no catch. About a week later this tiny little packet of cream arrived with some instructions on how to use it and to be honest I was blown away. and I am a hard core sceptic of internet marketing companies so I wasn't expecting anything.

You apply once under your arms after a shower and for about 4-5 days there was literally no smell. It may have lasted longer than that but I still had some sample left so I didn't want to wait to find out! My wife probably got sick of me putting my armpits in her face saying... 'can you smell anything?', but I sure didn't! As I said, I was a sceptic, I had zero expectations but this is hands down my best 'life hack' discovery recently! I have since ordered the full tub which is about $37 delivered and is expected to last a year. Even if it lasts half that time I will be happy.

If my local Netball club will take an overweight 30+ year old male as their new goal defence I now have the confidence to get my pits in all the faces!

Jokes aside, great product, highly recommend at least trying it.

I love only having to apply weekly – Lavilin does what it says it does. I apply it once a week and forget about it. I exercise several times a week without having to reapply. It’s great stuff. Show details

definitely stress-tested this by applying some before playing sport. And price-wise it is really affordable. The 10ml tub I bought has lasted me such a long time. Thanks so much Lavilin!

Definitely not 7 days – This doesn't work as advertised and not all that well as a general daily use deodorant. I've been using this for a little over 3 weeks now and have had to apply it more than I would my previous deodorants/antiperspirants. Was looking forward to no more deodorant stains (aluminium free) and thought the 7 days odour free claim was a nice bonus. Alas, no dice. Show details

nothing seem to work, I had to use this product everyday otherwise I would smell, it took me about a month or a month and a half and I used the entire thing and it still never worked as they claimed. I really gave it a fair go. And as a deoderant you have to apply everyday it is just not financially viable as it is significantly higher in price compared to anything else on the market. I had tried communicating all this to customer service but never got a response.... They even had sent another one of those emails asking for a review and I responded saying that I told you about my experience and you ignored me, someone responded but all they suggested was to try using the foot cream for underarms instead... But no way was I going to spend more money. I ended up getting a natural deoderants with no bicarb that I've been happy with instead.

Didn’t work at all for me – First day I used about double the recommended amount the night before bed as I do sweat a fair bit but had to change work shirts half way into the day because it started getting smelly, just as if I hadn’t used any deodorant at all. Show details

Stinker be gone – Sweating... so I'm a bit of a pro. But smelling like a wet dog after a swim? Not a chance, thanks to Lavilin. It still allows my body to sweat freely, but it keeps me from smelling like a science experiment gone wrong. Product didn’t work for me, no response via email – Unfortunately the product didn’t work. I politely requested a refund. The company has not honored their money back guarantee therefore I am leaving this one star review. Lives up to its promise – I’ve bought Lavilin for the whole family, which includes two teenagers. Even in the heat and humidity of a Queensland summer, we smell fresh as daisies. Best Deodorant around – I can go for days after an application without a stink. Still shower daily just use the cream every 3 days or so and use the roll on daily as I am so used to putting something on. It's a bit more expensive than average Deo but it works so well worth it. Show details

No one loves toxic pits! – I'm a massage therapist and in my work I'm usually claimed up in a small warm room. Let's face it. Pits can get stinky and I used to change my shirt during the day to avoid the pong. Lavilin is fantastic. Not only does it effectively control my under arm odour, but the product also doesn't have a strong perfume to it. Sorted out the stinky teenager! – I can't say we've been using it for long on my son but I have noticed an immediate improvement! I normally want to vomit any time my son comes close (not great for a mum) but after just one application he does not induce that sensation! Works really well for what I need – The product for me personally lasts about 3 days (sometimes 2, sometimes 4 depending on what I’m doing/working/exercising etc) which is less than what is advertised however before this product I would have to apply deodorant probably 3 times a day. The tub is probably going to last me about 3 months which even though is less than what is promoted, Im still happy and only I’m spending the same amount on this product as I would my deodorant over the duration but this product lets me relax a little and have less stress about reapplying throughout the day and worrying if I’m smelly.

It works for me! – I’m in my early seventies and don’t break a sweat as often as I used to. However, I’ve been using lavilinn deodorant cream for many months and it has rarely let me down. It doesn’t leave unsightly stains on my clothing as conventional roll on supermarket deodorants used to and given how long one little pot lasts I suspect it is more economical. I’ll continue to use it.

Works – Seems to work well but haven’t been game to test it for a full 7 days “I don’t want to be told”. I’m very sensitive to deodorants and have had a mild reaction to Lavilin, slightly itchy but manageable. I’d recommend giving it a go, it’s very economical and negates the need to put on deodorant every time you shower. Show details
