5 Gaurang  · This is perfect – It’s very comfortable and I enjoy every day mu sleep
4 Dan  · Its good – It is firm just how i like it and the top layer is soft so it doesn't feel like sleeping on a plank of wood. No sinking has occurred yet
5 Giamaree  · Love it!! – At first i was sceptical as i don't really like a firm mattress but i have been converted. It's firm but not firm if that makes sense.
5 Christoe_84  · Lazy dreams – My lazy bed is so good i don't want to get out!! My back was sore for a long time. Then i get my lazy bed problem solved! Best buy ever.

No replies for warranty claims – I have contacted OneBed (previously LazyBed) on a warranty claim on a mattress I purchased and have used for probably less than 3 years, since it was unused in our guest bedroom. The mattress has visibly and physically sagged and now Im rolling off the bed when sleeping because the structural integrity is no longer there. They were happy at first… Read more

to inform me that it would indeed be covered under warranty, they just needed a bunch of pictures as evidence, which I provided the same day. Its been two weeks of dead silence from them, no longer replying to emails and when I called was informed Id be contacted earlier this week but still nothing. I will be following this up with consumer affairs if I keep receiving no response, as I have evidence of emails that I provided exactly what they needed to verify my warranty claim. Do not buy if you dont want to be ghosted by customer service team.

If I can rate lower I would! – Not only is the mattress horrid & made my back worse & my partners leg worse but the company have been ignoring my emails for years! They deliberately ignored them so they don’t have to give me a refund on this horrid thing. Show details

Good at first, now terrible! – I bought this approx 4 years ago from LazyBed (now called OneBed). It was good at first but recently I have woken up with some pretty bad back pain because of this mattress. The mattress seems to have started to sag, and no longer offers the support it promises. I’d be more comfortable sleeping on a plane at this point. Show details

Worst bed I’ve ever owned. It has become so soft that I sink a good 5-6 inches into the bed. Not good! – Bed clearly sagging but not sagging deep enough for the warranty claim. Needs to be 20mm deep before they will replace the bed. Not a good bed at all!!! I sink 5-6 inches in the bed and the middle of the bed is firm. I’ve gone back and forth with Fair Trading and sadly OneBed warranty claim has to be net despite no one ever been able to prove that… Read more

its sinking! I’ve seen hundreds of people in the same boat as me and they cannot prove it! I’ve wasted hours on the phone and countless emails. They do not care and will not do anything until they see that the bed has a “Valley” “indent” showing 20mm deep. Mine is clearly on the way there but what will it take... another 5 years of terrible sleep and get to 10mm valley.. then the 15 years warranty runs out and bamn it will reach its 20mm indent.

So far, so good! – My partner and I desperately needed a new mattress after waking up feeling battered and sore every morning, we almost bought a mattress from a retailer on sale for about $3000. Then I noticed the Choice review and how highly matresess in a box we’re rating in comparison and decided to look into it. I’ll start by saying that Lazybed was not my… Read more ·  2

initial choice, I was ready to buy a Sleeping Duck after seeing its review on Choice and the fact that I could go and try it out etc, however it was a bit expensive and constantly out of supply. I then went on to do extensive research into the “mattress in a box” business. While a lot of these mattresses all look a bit the same it’s a bit overwhelming to start with but when you look into it they do have a lot of differences, I found the most useful was the old “pro’s/con’s” way of thinking. And Lazybed far exceeded on the pro’s including but not limited to; Cost, design, reviews, delivery, materials, customer service and the way it looked, my relatives also have Lazybeds and love them, so it ended up being at the top of the list, however there was one thing I was slightly concerned about as I have existing neck and shoulder problems, which was that some people noted the mattress as “firm”

Anyway, with a thousand mattress adds now “popping” up in my social media feed I noticed Lazybed has a $350 off sale as they were on preorder, I decided what do I have to lose? So I ordered one at 10:15 pm expecting to receive in a week or two and it arrived the next day, I’m typing this review from the comfort of my Lazybed right now.

I’m only one night in so a bit early to give a complete review but so far I can say, customer service and delivery is exceptional, the bed is super comfortable and not what I would consider “firm” at all, although it does feel completely different to an innerspring cushion top mattress, you get a really lovely, slight sinking feeling whilst being supported, I was apparently snoring like a trooper last night so I guess you could say that’s a positive (not for my partner!) the things that we both noticed is how the matress is quite a bit lower than our old one -sheets and bedding fit it perfectly but it does look much lower on our ensemble base - no big deal but something to note, also as some reviewers have said, there is a slight smell which I’m sure will dissipate in time.

I would consider myself to be a hot sleeper and although it was a cool Melbourne night I found temperature to be very comfortable.

All in all, so far so good - I’m happy with my decision and fingers crossed the mattress works out to be right for us in the long run but with 125 nights to decide I’m not stressed about that at all!

I hope this review helps you if like me, you’re feeling slightly overwhelmed by deciding on a mattress in a box!

Thanks Lazybed!

Great for people on the lighter side! – Firstly I would like to say that this bed is more suited to kids/teenagers rather than adults because the truth is that the heavier you are the more the mattress will sink down. Now for my opinion: When I first got this mattress I was like eh... it wasn’t anything amazing, but when I had to sleep on a spring mattress for a night I longed to go… Read more

In the beginning was good, but after 2 years – I’ve bought the mattress LazyBed king, now LazyBed has changed for OneBad, a 2 years ago. In the beginning I had a excellent experience and good nights of sleeps, but now is terrible, the mattress is too soft and it sinks too much - I weight 75KG. Now I wake up with pain in my back. Don’t waste your money, because in the future you will have a problems. Show details

They don’t last longer – Brought queen mattress which is too small in our queen bed and returned. Then they claim the replacement will no longer qualify with the warranty. it never. Anyway the time flew. It has been 2 years and both ends where me and my partner sleeps is so deep and in the middle is bumpy. As both ends are not comfortable to sleep anymore. So now I started to sleep across the bed to sleep. It seems like the beginning don’t know how long will it stay this way. Still sore back every morning. Don’t ever buy the lazy bed.

Sags after 1 year - and I’m only 65kg – When I first got this in June 2018 I thought it was super comfy like a cloud. Im a single 33 year old female, weigh about 65kg or less and slept on it for a couple of months before it started feeling uncomfortable. It has created a sagging section where I have laid. It’s very uncomfortable now. You cannot turn it over. The cover seems to retain… Read more

moisture so it has a slight foul smell. It’s difficult to take the mattress protector off and on too. Requires 2 people.

I have contacted about the warranty and to claim this you need to be able to prove the sagging with a ruler. It’s impossible to do so. Would not buy again or recommend. Also their customer service is slow and terrible. At the begging they offered me a free memory pill or which they never sent.

Recently I went online and googles LazyBed which was the brand name /company I purchased it from and they have this message on their website:

After fighting a trademark dispute for the last couple of years, we have been informed by our legal team that our best course of action is to cease selling under the brand name Lazybed.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do. We have fought as hard as we can, and the decision made by the Trademark Office is final.

So now they sell under “One Bed”.

I would say, don’t bother with ANY memory foam mattress after this experience especially ones that come rolled up in a box from an online retailer that asks people to review the product immediately afterwards when the mattress is still lush (hence the thousands of positive reviews)!

The one positive is that it stays kind of cool.

SLEEPING ON A SCAM - NOW CALLED ONEBED! – The bed is awful and I have just gone to contact them to get them my feedback and they have had to change their name due to copyright issues!!!! So I can't even log in to my account and see the purchase history or anything. I feel so silly for falling for this. I really thought I'd done enough research. Now we just have worse backs and a bad taste in our mouths. Show details

MOULD! DO NOT BUY! – We purchased a few months ago. The mattress started sagging and we decided to try and flip it over. Flipped it over to discover black mould and yellow mould. Good grief! Started out great! Deteriorated to a sink hole – I bought a queen bed through One Bed in 2016, the company was then called LazyBed. Since that time the bed has continued to be a slanted bed that pushes my partner and I into the centre of the bed. We're not an especially heavy couple 80kg and 65kg respectively. In summary, these beds have a short lifespan. Check the reviews to see if anyone else has reviewed beyond a year. Show details

Worst purchase ever! Easy to buy hard to return – Well the initial purchase was easy, good service. But we didn’t like the mattress. It was way too firm for our liking so I messaged to return it and was told we hadn’t had it long enough so we had to email back in another two weeks. Two weeks went by and yes that’s fine return it. Oh and then we’re told we can’t get anyone to pick the mattress up.… Read more

No local thrift stores will pick it up. So we were asked if we could get it to a store. Lucky we have a trailer. So I said we can. When I tried to arrange dropoff I was told the thrift store no longer take mattresses. I ended up ringing around to try and get this resolved and the same thrift store that they told me wouldn’t take it said yes of course we will, that’s be fantastic! So I contacted onebed again and this has all been going on for 7 weeks by the way. I told them they will get in contact with the store to confirm and finally we were able to return it. And on top of everything the thrift store even said they could’ve picked it up - such a long return process and if you don’t like firm mattresses don’t buy one!!! Never again!!! I’m going to a store!!!

DO NOT BUY – Starts off really well but after a few months it’s goes to porridge. My bed is like sleeping in a very soft dish, that has put my back completely out of whack. Terrible mattress and customer service – The mattress is really uncomfortable and hot. I have had issues with back pain since receiving it, even after giving it several months to adjust. I’ve contracted customer service several times and it takes a long time for them to respond and I’ve had to follow up with them more than once. I wouldn’t recommend buying a lazybed.

Great while under warranty but starts sucking real quick. DO NOT BUY! – Bought in July, 2017. It was incredible for a few months, we insisted all our visitors gave it a go, it was awesome and so comfortable. in a fair bit which is even noticeable by my partner on the other side (Queen). It's saggy when you lie in it making it harder to roll and it sleeps very hot, even in middle of winter. These mattresses are awesome upfront but they are hopeless long term and for the price they are NOT worth it! They do not sustain back support at all in the long run and you'll end up forking out a fortune to get chiro and physio to repair your back and hips. Haven't got a quote to dispose it but it will also be a hit to the pocket. Almost all positive reviews would be from people who have owned it under 3 months.

Lazy Bed, if you are reading this, please fix your product to have more longevity! This is simply not practical or fair after a mere two years!!
