I engaged this firm for a fixed-fee conveyancing matter and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. They are located overseas, not in QLD as stated and you will receive emails at 1am, phone calls early in the morning and late at night. Majority of emails (despite your response) are AI generated and you often received the exact… Read more
same email days apart from someone else, even though you have already replied.
During the process, I had to request corrections to the contract documentation on three separate occasions due to incorrect details and terms being included which they all failed to pick up. This caused unnecessary delays and raised concerns about the level of care being exercised on my file from day 1.
More concerning, searches were undertaken without my express instruction on the assumption that the contract was unconditional although it was not. I was subsequently invoiced for these searches and work despite never authorizing them. Clients should not be charged for work they did not approve. I had to deal with 4 people, breaking the chain of email and no consistency with the file
Clear communication, accuracy, and proper client authority are fundamental in legal services. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone engaging this firm ensures all instructions are confirmed in writing and that the scope of work is clearly agreed before any costs are incurred. I would not use this company. They say they will pay you $100 if they don't respond within 48hrs although there is always sometime to write a useless email just shy of this time to avoid these fees. I have since engaged in a new legal firm in which matters are dealt with on a personal level, emails respond to quickly and timeline stuck to.
Lead conveyancing are dynamic, transparent, and very efficient. Especially Kristy Fletcher who is the best in the business. I highly recommend both Lead Conveyancing and Kristy Fletcher.
I had the worst experience with Lead… I had the worst experience with Lead conveyancing. I engaged them for one reason, they stated on their website that they have an office in Geelong , Victoria. After a couple of days i started investigating them. My gut feeling was telling me that something fishy is going on. The address of Geelong office… Read more
turned out to be IVF clinic in Geelong. There is so many different Vietnamese businesses and organisations sharing the same address in Melbourne. When I called one of their workers, he admitted that they are based in Philippines. I terminated their services straight away, but they still sending me the invoice. How can you trust a company like this knowing how many hackers and frauds are going around? They should be investigated by authorities in Australia. I never came across a conveyancer who send you a partial invoice a few days later. You always pay your conveyancing fees on the settlement day! I have been told by one of their workers that you have to pay $180 on top if you want to see someone in person. Stay away from them as there is so many other businesses like this one around.
Avoid this company *** misleading advertising and poor service! Be careful of their glowing online reviews and cheap website quotes. My experience was extremely disappointing. All communication goes through overseas call centres, and the so-called “experts” rarely answer calls or explain important contract details properly. Everything is handled… Read more
through endless emails.
They started with a low online quote but then charged excessive fees for basic services — for example, $230 just to review a sales contract and nearly $2,000 for advice on a two-page document.
The team is not based in Australia, which caused major time-zone delays, language barriers, and poor customer service.
If you’re buying a property, dealing with them will make the process unnecessarily stressful.
I bet if you use MISLEAD Conveyancing, you will be the next one to share your experience!
Our experience with this company has been needlessly stressful every step of the way. From the beginning, communication was sporadic and unprofessional. Questions and concerns were frequently ignored or brushed aside, and there was a complete lack of transparency throughout the disorganised process. Key actions were pushed to the last possible… Read more
moment causing us needless delays, and mistakes were made with even the simplest of tasks due to a lack of attention to detail from LEAD from start to finish. We were hit with multiple, unexpected issues at the last minute that could have easily been avoided with proper diligence and more timely communication.

We encountered delays in responses, a lack of clarity around key milestones, and inconsistent follow-up, which made it difficult to feel confident or informed throughout the process. Our recent experience using this company for conveyancing services fell short of expectations. What initially appeared to be a straightforward process became increasingly frustrating due to a number of ongoing communication and service issues.
We encountered delays and a lack of clarity in responses. Follow-up was inconsistent, and we were asked the same questions and to submit the same documents multiple times from different paralegals. We were not given instructions in a clear or timely manner, which left us feeling uninformed and unable to complete our tasks efficiently. Countless small mistakes made by paralegals made the process increasingly frustrating, causing unnecessary delays.
The overall handling of our matter felt disjointed and needlessly stressful for what should have been a standard property transaction. While everything was eventually completed, the experience left us feeling extremely let down.
Follow-up · Look, I kind of suspect someone keeps having online reviews I have made removed but that would be kind of crazy so I am probably mistaken. To be as clear as possible: I experienced really unclear verbal communication, frustrating document processing delays, slow response times to written and oral communication attempts which made me feel like… Read more
