1 SMG  · They charge you $10 to return items. Doesn't fly in the modern day; update your business practices and don't be greedy.
5 JulieM  · Had a fabulous experience being served by the young men in Melbourne Central. Bought some retro jeans and totally loved the service. Thanks so much.
1 Paul  · Jeans have torn in seperate places after being worn only a half dozen times around town. Worst pair of jeans I have ever purchased.
1 Duane D  · Poor experience – Levi's charges $10.95 per item for return which does not include postage. I am unsure why I am paying this and what this fee contributes to?

I had two pairs of 514 Men’s from about 4 years ago bought in Australia. They needed replacing so I ordered 2 new 514s : genuine Levi’s from a major store. When they arrived I thought “ they feel thinner. I couldn’t shake it so I weighed them. The old pairs were a touch under 800g after a few years of washing and loosing fabric one assumes. The… Read more

new ones were about 600g each. So they have keep the same style number but shaved off 25% of the fabric and naturally are charging much more than 4 years ago. Shrinkflation happens to clothes too. Pathetic from a brand that markets the tough nature of their jeans, the ability to order the same style you have always bought.l etc. Deceptive and no more Levi’s for me.

Ps: all 4 pairs were exactly the same size, waist and leg length.

Ordered and paid online. They sent wrong item. I am having zero success getting anywhere with getting the wrong jeans returned and the jeans I ordered sent. Absolutely rubbish customer service for a global brand. Completely non responsive. If I ever get my money back I will not be buying from them again. Show details

Absolutely appalling customer service. Sent email 22/1/26 it is now 5/3/26. Sent photos, receipts and all information requested and has STILL NOT BEEN RESOLVED. We used to buy Levi's as uniforms for staff in high quantities and will NEVER buy them again. Cheaply made low quality products not what they used to be and even worse customer care support and service.

tracking number. The post office has refused to do so, telling me they will not provide tracking number for that particular method of delivery/return! Levi’s claims they have not received anything. It takes them days, sometimes up to a week to respond an email.

NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I paid for a jacket, received a cap which I returned to them and now I am left with nothing!!

Shopping from Levi’s is the most horrendous online experience I have ever had.

Received some nice jeans although the length is out of whack. Have been wearing length 32 my whole life in every single brand possible (but mostly levis 512). These despite being 512 L32 are around 2 inches shorter than any other pair of pants I've owned so I emailed them to ask for an actual free return. I bought a "Levis Barstow Western" shirt in mid July 25 from Levis Australia. I used the sizing chart on the Levis official website and it said I was… Read more

an XXL as per usual is my size, because of my wide shoulders and long arms, as I an 6'2" tall. I was initially going to buy one shirt online, then purchase more if it was of good quality, as we live on a remote cattle property and do not have shops around. The shirt arrived in good time, but it wqs a terrible fit, The shoulders are too narrow and super tight, the sleeves finish two inches from my wrists and the waist is so large you could put almost another me in there. When I have bought Wrangler or Cinch shirts, they fit a working, fairly fit Aussie male in this size perfectly. I wrote to Levis and they have ignored the above issues I have. I will never buy Levis again and advise everybody that if you are a fit male, do not buy Levis, ever.

Follow-up  · I can see now, particularly from the promotional advertising that Levis use, where the product is intended from the models shots used to advertise the product. Unbuttoned fronts on city-centric models, sleeves turned up to look cool. It's no wonder smart fit isn't a consideration to them. Compare that to Wrangler or Cinch, where shirts are longer… Read more

Follow-up  · These shirts shrink terribly and following the wash recommendations won't save you. A shirt that shrinks 25mm over the length of the sleeves, when they were too short already, just shows how Levis have just become a ghost of whatever reputation they… Read more

Really happy with quality – I got low quality straight leg Levi's from just jeans and honestly the are the most comfortable and held up amazingly with heavy use despite being the inferior quality ones. Note I've been forced to size up one size can never find 25 waist, so stretch wear and tear is probably less.

Great and easy to purchase item online, delivery as well. BUT, when the product doesn’t fit- it is impossible to exchange. post the return back, cannot buy different size at the discounted price as i did 3 days ago for the original purchase. Then I could not start a return for the product online as their website doesn’t work for this action. I did not have any issues to pay, but for return- impossible. So i rang helpdesk again and apparently , I will get return label in email, $10 will be deducted from the refund for it will take 10 days for refund to be processed. I hope it does. So, I am sorry, but this is extremely difficult for a simple issue of buying a wrong size online (highly likely to happen without trying!!) and I do not recommend this online store to anyone. Another complication is that online and physical stores are separate businesses and they don’t work together. Why not???? In summary, I lost half a day on this issue and I am not happy

Levis have a practice of intentionally delaying refunds is a calculated form of "sludge," a dark pattern designed to create enough friction that customers simply give up. value of the refund itself. This boosts their breakage rate, allowing them to keep revenue from uncompleted claims while improving their short-term cash flow. To break this cycle, you should move beyond their internal support loops by threatening Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) or initiating a bank chargeback, which forcibly extracts the funds and often penalizes the merchant for the delay.

Levis Strauss jeans are made in Pakistan with third world quality garments. Jeans are made of heavy material that are odd in size and design to their jeans made 30 years back. There stretch jeans don't stretch and the price of $129.00 means your paying for a brand name of a bygone era producing sub standard garments. Don't waste your money I found Kmart offer better quality jeans at a fraction of the cost Show details

What I know and think about Levis – I'm 69 this month and when I was a teenager I purchased a pair of 501's and they lasted 2 months I was very dissappointed so from then it was wrangler who now use crap fabric and street brand very good for $10-$19.99 from Lowes Pioneer were good I recently wore a pair out after 40 years, The Now Jeans were the best ever sold by K-Mart relax fit… Read more

$10-$19.99 depending if they were on special I could buy 10 pair for the price of one pair of levis but unfortunately all these cheaper brands are going for short zippers and any male knows what that means. So I find myself buying Levis again and I like them but dissappointed the weight factor isn't included in the jeans descriotion. I haven't bought many new pair as their not as good a quality as the old jeans. the most important thing I look at when buying jeans is the zipper length as urine doesn't flow up hill very well and its nasty when you get the old fella caught in the zipper teeth. Now the seems aren't doubled over any more which would make them weaker but they are much easier to hem when you cut them to your length. Fortunately I have Janome Sewing machines whick enable me to hem the older jeans as they have more clearence at the foot, well atleast the models I have have extra clearence. I do think the quality of levis jeans needs improving and the weight of the fabric made known to the public so they can select jeans for winter or summer. I just want good quality and better info about levis when purchasing.

Pass on Levi’s with poor quality and poor experiences – Got a trucker jacket online, was the wrong size so I paid the restock fee and got the correct size sent. The correct sized jacket arrived with a broken button, so I asked Levi’s to sort this. Levi’s sent me a reply paid label with no tracking, meaning I’d have no proof that I sent this. The cost for tracking was $2.95 and I asked Levi's to refund… Read more

this, they told me to take it up with Australia Post. Their sizing is not consistent as I own 4 other trucker jackets, and despite my paying for shipping with the 2 times they sent the jackets and the restock fee, they won’t even provide a shipping label that offers tracking nor refund this. As alternatives such as Amazon offer free returns on many such items, dealing with Levi’s online can be a frustrating and costly experience. I got a wrangler jacket through Amazon and the experience was way better. Summary - consider avoiding Levi’s and looking at alternative online methods and alternative brands.

Do not buy these jeans – I purchased a pair of Levis 311 recently. I have been wearing this style for a number of years in indigo blue. Levis have completely changed the fabric to a cheap version which is nothing like the original and the sizing has change too, They now have a smaller waist as well. Very bad decision on your part. I returned them and won't be buying Levis again. VERY disappointed. Show details

Sadly, the days of old goodwill, are sadly lacking in today's businesses. Levi's are no exception – People who know me and have read my previous reviews, will know that when I make a vow to never return for business, I stick to that vow wholeheartedly. Levi's has just entered that pantheon of businesses that I will never return to. It's such a shame, because I have been buying Levi's products since my teen years. I am now in my sixties. I… Read more

am a pensioner. Levi's have been advertising their products on-line for weeks/months now, and I've wanted an item for some time, but it was a little out of my purchasing power. On the weekend of mother's day in Australia, 2024, I read on the Saturday how they were having a sale of 25% off their products. I thought, that will suit me fine, and decided to make a purchase on-line.

Normally, I proceeded to the purchase and did so using my debit card. At the time, I noticed that it was still full price, but proceeded nonetheless. I believed that, erroneously it appears, that the 25% would come off after the purchase. Yet again, I was wrong.

The very next day, I checked the Levi's site again, and yes, here it was 25% off purchases on-line.

My receipt still showed the full price of purchase. My bank account verified this as well.

I will ring Levi's first thing Monday morning when they were in attendance and resolve the issue. Wrong.

Speaking with a customer service officer, she was friendly, but would have to speak with "accounts" to resolve the issue of the missing 25% discount. It would be about 24-48 hours before I could get an answer.

All the while, I was assured of a "easy return policy" that Levi's had advertised. More on that a little later.

I said to the customer service officer, "If I don't get a resolution in my favour of a 25% discount, I would cancel the order!". Nope, you can't do that, was the reply, because they don't accept cancelations.

"Well", I said, "If I can't do that, I will return it to a Levi's shop close by". Nope, can't do that either.

I am going to have to wait until the item comes to my address, and then send it back from whence it came. If everything is in order, we'll process a refund that will take some time.

Oh dear....not the easy returns policy so stated in their advertisements. I wished they hadn't taken my monies so quickly before sending the product. The withdrawal from my account was mere seconds. This pensioner will have to wait "some time" until the monies are returned. If the items are still ok (I'm going to play a game of footy in them, get them all grass stained, then return them).

24 hours later, I got my answer. No 25% discount. I purchased the item outside the "sale" period. Purchase 1811:54 hrs on 11/5/24. Actual sale started, 0001 hrs 12/5/24.

However, there is an alternative. Purchase item again, under the sale price, and then return previous item, in good condition, for a refund.

Did I mention I'm a pensioner, could ill afford the item as is, was waiting for the sale to start, only to miss it (my bad), by a few hours.

Goodwill and good customer relations" No way. I've been a customer of Levi's for about 50 years. That patronage will come to an abrupt halt, once I receive the item and then post it back. In two minds on whether to send it registered post, on a pension, that will guarantee a return.

So, goodbye Levi's, a 50 year association has come to an end.

Levi's savings.....$40. Potential return business by me....a couple of thousand (over the years, I would estimate $550-10 000).

Businesses nowadays have a really bizarre business acumen. Particularly a business like Levi's who could've waived the $40 all for good customer relations.

Sadly, they chose not to, and it will be their loss. Inquiry # 61193.

I ended the reply email with Levi's don't care. Having said that, neither will I.

And it gets even better. I ràng their customer service in good time, actually a day and a half before the item had been dispatched. Was told I couldn't cancel the item, would have to wait for the item to be delivered (by Startrack no less, who couldn't deliver a poor service if their lives depended on it, so another trip to the post office), and now Levi's "easy returns" come into effect. Told you I am a pensioner, their "easy returns" is going to cost me $9.60.

Never, EVER again will I part with one more cent with Levi's. It has truly been an absolute woeful experience.I

So, I've lost money on a product I did not want, and which should've been cancelled during my initial phone call first thing Monday morning..

A TOTAL DISGRACE AND SCAM.
