I purchased this LG refrigerator less than 3 months ago, and it has already completely failed. It stopped making ice, stopped cooling, and then stopped working entirely. The repair and replacement process has been extremely slow and inefficient, leaving us without a usable fridge for an extended period. During this time, all the food inside was spoiled, causing unnecessary loss and inconvenience.
This level of product failure and after-sales service is unacceptable for a nearly new appliance. I would not recommend this product.
Compressor blown up only after 5 years They promote their silly 10 year warranty on the compressor Guess what that doesn’t include labour Out of pocket $500 to have it replaced in labour Labour is actually more than the part We have other branded appliances and labour is included under the warranty Once upon a time fridges lasted years not only 5 years Because of this I will not be purchasing another LG branded appliance
Extremely cheap build quality – Extremely bad build quality, customer service team were not helpful and spent weeks going around in circles. Shelf broke 2 years in, it being held by a very cheap piece of plastic.
Not worth the investment – Extremely disappointed that 3years and 4months after purchase the LG L570MBNL fridge it is dead (compressor). Lost the whole fridge contents, no cooling what so ever. Absolutely rubbish for a fridge to die in 3.4years with only a 2year warranty. Now it seems that there is so many others in the same position. Will take this up with consumer protection that LG knowingly sell a defective product.

Two Brand New LG Fridges Faulty in One Week – Worst Fridges I have ever had. The first LG fridge I had started making lots of noise continuously and I asked for a replacement. The first replacement new LG Fridge that was delivered was Faulty on arrival with error code CF E. The second replacement new LG Fridge that was delivered was Faulty on arrival with error code CF E. Both fridges did not cool or produce any ice. Ran a diagnostic with the LG ThinQ App and Error Code CF appeared which means There is a defect in the cooling-related fan motor. Model GF-L500MBL
