everything is visible and easy to pack and stack.The fridge has 2 doors and one door incorporates crushed or cubed ice and water. It has a 4 Lt water container so does not need to be plumbed in. There are 2 large drawers at the bottom and one shelf has the capacity to fold back to allow tall bottles etc. It is the best fridge/freezer we have had.
Looks good but very noisy – I bought this fridge in February 2021 and was very happy with it up until May 2022 when it started making a really loud noise and stopped working. It was determined that the fan needed replacing but as the part wasn’t available LG replaced the fridge with a brand new one. from the start with a loud buzzing noise. I checked the instruction booklet early on and determined it’d be pointless contacting LG because apparently there’s quite an assortment of noises they deem acceptable. My 30 year old fridge was so quiet, never gave me any trouble but was looking pretty tired that’s the only reason I replaced it. I definitely would not recommend this fridge, the fact that the first one stopped working just over 12 months from new and the constant buzz coming from the replacement is quite loud and extremely annoying.
It’s a lemon. Won’t last you two years and they have no parts to repair it – It’s a lemon Fridge is fine as a unit looks great. Fits well, doesn’t need to be plumbed. Then all the sudden in less than 2 yrs bam the compressor completely dies you lose all your food and LG leave you waiting, waiting and waiting to see what fate is. for a remedy from LG and they literally won’t currently talk to me as my resolution is ‘under review’ presumably as my online retailer has shut up shop. Umm your rubbish product is defective I’ve not had a fridge for weeks LG Easter is coming and u can’t fix a fridge you still sell in stores! I lost a fridge full a food in hours as it heated up. Now your call centre tells me nothing more than I’m ‘under review’!!! What a joke!
Noisiest Fridge ever – Bought this fridge and within the first month had a technician out because I thought it was faulty it was so noisy. The pump for the water/ice machine is literally like a freight train … apparently this is “normal” as it’s not a plumbed unit, rather pumping water from the container inside the fridge. Great fridge except for pump noise – Love the fridge and it is completely silent for the most part. After you have used the ice or crushed ice dispenser a few minutes later the water pump turns on to refill the ice that needs to be replaced. The pump is quite noisy but it only operates for 3-5 seconds. I can see why it could annoy some people, especially since it cant be that hard… Read more · 1
to install a quiet water pump for a fridge that costs quite a lot of money. If it decided to do that in the middle of the night, well I doubt it would wake me, but it might others.
The only time if you had used a LOT of ice entertaining and the fridge had to make a lot of ice over night I might be tempted to turn the ice maker off and turn it on in the morning. Id still far rather have the ice maker than switch it off
Also I get the impression the stainless steel is easily dinted, I watched the delivery drivers unbox it and I didn't see them touch it anywhere but I noticed some tiny barely noticeable dints in the door (one in the fridge door and one in the freezer door. Not enough for me to complain to the retailer as you can only see them at an angle when looking for them, but never the less they are there.
Over all pretty happy with it, looks great and it is Silent (apart from the above), it was so quiet when it started up I wasn't even sure if was on, and it cooled quite quickly.
Good but noisy! – I have to say this is a great fridge. Plenty of space to store everything we need and we love the ThinQ features + the nice display panel. A great looking addition to our kitchen.
