You HAVE to have the cold water pipe plumbed in by an authorised plumber (expensive), or they "say" you void any warranty and it is not part of "installation"

The black stainless steel shows fingerprints all over it even though lighting in the shop indicated that wouldn't be a problem so beware bedcause that annoys the heck out of me.

Great addition to kitchen – Nice and cold, easy to use. Black stainless looks amazeballs. French doors make it easy to put big itmems in. Would like fruit and veg bins to be bigger but overall we think its great, we had a samsung 910l soda stream fridge but couldnt fit it into new house. Freezing food in the fridge – I purchased this fridge just over a year ago, and already had the service guys out twice, due to the fact that it keeps building up ice behind the crisper draws, and freezing food in the crisper draw and bottom shelf, even when I adjust the temperature it still does this. Wonderful perfect! – We love it. The color, the 4 doors, the small door to get to our milk and butter every morning, couldn’t be happier our first ice maker built in amazing and the crush option is fantastic, the delivery easy the plumber installation fast, everything works very well no problems at all so glad we chose this fridge, our first up grade in 18 years we love it and you will too don’t hesitate you will love it !  Show details

Service I had a technician onsite the following day and the matter was sorted. Great service. Tech was genuinely interested in my satisfaction with the fridge.

Love the 3 options of Chilled Water, Ice Cubes and Shaved Ice but would only like if possible that the default mode be water as I often forget I've left it on Ice and spill cubes over the floor. eg. If ice cubes are chosen it defaults back to water mode after a certain amount of time.

Also impressed with how quiet it is and the ease of cleaning with a microfibre cloth.

Would definately consider other LG product in future.

It is not black stainless steel it is a thin coat of colour that does not last – I purchased this fridge for its function and appearance. I was assured the colour was extremely durable as it was black stainless steel. Six months in and the actual stainless steel is showing through the back where the thin film of colour is coming off. low. This was a huge and costly mistake I should have gone straight stainless steel. I have contacted the company and there response is basically to bad. Do not buy this model in black.

Wide shelves and sneaking half door – Wanted to replace ablack Kleenmaid French door fridge no longer available so got the black stainless. Looks gorgeous when clean but won't lie.... finger marks show but easy to clean up. Polished surface so fine scratch alreafy from something on my cloth when wiping it over. Not much height inside fridge though...half of one side can slide back which is enough for us but a big family??

Freezer drawers are great...Very spacious and easy access to all shelves. Good size door slots too. Runs quiet. Quick ice production and holds a large about to cater for busy hot days. Lights on control panel are bright.... discovered when I tried to sleep on lounge one night and had to cover the panel. Very happy with this fridge and stand out feature is definitely the sneaky door.

Not 100 percent happy – We had an lg fridge /freezer for 16 years no problems ever ,it is still working perfectly and dispensed cold water continuously . This one doesn't dispense cold water after first glass we live in hot area and the main reason for getting this was the water I'm finding it hard keeping it pristine ,continuously wiping prints off , any hints ? … Read more

The left door does slam and we have to check that the fifth door shuts properly ,I think the latch might become a problem

I do love the easy access of all areas ,especially the drawers in the freezer

I love the wide shelves in the fridge ,easier to access and place big items ,not enough areas for bottles and rediculous space for cheeses and cold meats

Yet to find a good volume for fruit and veg

Fridge well worth the price – Hi all, my opinion on this model is that it's bloody awesome ha ha ha. Roomy, chills amazingly, freezes even better. Keeps food lasting longer I've noticed ever since I purchased it. Apples and oranges, veggies etc last week's with blemish to them. Saves you throwing out UN eating foods and saves you space by its wide door shelves. Extra room means extra drinks to add :)  Show details

No complaints at all – Fridge and freezer seem to keep the required temperatures well. We haven't needed to altered the setting from factory. easily adjusted as per the instructions with the supplied spanners. We removed one left hand half shelf to give more tall bottles storage that works well for us. There is no egg holder as per every other fridge I have seen. Looking at the instruction book, they suggest using the bottom of fridge storage compartments with glass lids. I actually like the eggs stored here as there is no possibility of breakage and easy to see how many eggs are left. Love the door in door feature (one of the selling features we used to decide) Overall very happy with our choice.

Black stainless rubs off! – We got this fridge because we were worried about fingerprints as the stainless model was always a mess when we looked at it in the shops. It took ages for me to get used to the weight of the door with the panel door - which is the only place for storage of large bottles (behind it).

This fridge is a good one – The main thing in this LG Fridge is a small additional door. We use it all the time, if you need to get a souse or a drink you don't need to open the big doors all the time. Ice maker is cool, it has three options: cold water, crushed ice or ice cubes. Good but cannot stick magnets – I like it very much apart from the fact that it's face is not magnetic and unable to stick magnets. It's a huge downside to this fridge. On the other hand very spacious and easy to keep organised. Freezer has lots of space too. Door in door feature is also handy for easy access. I can recommend this fridge.  Show details

Would recommend – My wife picked this fridge and I was a little bit hesitant at first however I am now converted. How convenient is it yo have cold water and ice on tap, its such a luxury and I dont think I can go back to manually filling it up. Best fridge I have owned – Love the plumed ice and water, i always struggled refilling the water and ice and would always end up with none and now I dont give it a second thought!! The crushed ice is by far my favourite feature, such luxury. The fridge is so easy to clean, you can see everything in the frigde easily with the way the shelving is. LG support is hopeless! – The fridge lasted 6 weeks before it leaked water over our timber floors damaging them, repaired and dame thing two weeks later. LG technician stated he couldn't repair it...but LG sent him back anyway to try...still waiting for some direct contact from LG on repairing our floors...their recommendation was pay the excess and claim it on your… Read more

Looks fantastic and is very quiet – Looks fantastic and is very quiet, great technology on the fresh food storage and door in door access to your drinks. We also enjoy the plumbed in cold water and ice dispenser with inline filter. Great layout with the French Door configuration saves bending down to get to the vegetable crispers.  Show details
