working fridge since 16th August and no one cares about customer service or resolving the issue. Based on the comments looks like I am not the only one being stuffed around and this fridge should be recalled. Never buying LG again.
Poor build – Purchased GF-B590MBL in November 2022. Unfortunately the gap between the doors were uneven unlike the ones displayed in showrooms and in the photos online. See attached photos. basically I was unlucky to end up with a brand new fridge with crooked doors. Since then I've been chasing LG to follow up on the case but no luck. So if you are considering purchasing this model, good luck!

service technician attended our property and assessed fridge 12/1/22 to conclude it was an internal issue in sealed unit and a manufacturer’s fault. As the fault was in the sealed unit a technician cannot repair. Service technician communicated this to LG straight away. I have had to chase up with LG since the technician assessment. LG have been unacceptably difficult to deal with. I have phoned many times multiple dates, each phone call has been 45-50+ and many minutes on hold. I have yet to receive a clear answer or timeframe of when we will receive our refund and gave only been told “the case is with administration and waiting on management decision. I have requested on numerous occasions to be transferred to management and administration, each time to be told “we don’t have a phone number for them” or “we cannot transfer you”. We’ve been advised by LG that administration can take 4-6 weeks to process a refund. Even when emailing complaints and customer service I have not had an email response, even to just acknowledge receipt of my email. Having already waited one month without a fridge, expensive costs associated with food spoilage and cost of time to wait on hold to receive no clear answer is completely unacceptable. Furthermore to be told we will have to wait another 4-6 weeks for a refund is unreasonable, leaving us more than 2 months without a refrigerator. We have been loyal LG customers in the past with LG TV, Microwave and Washing machine, unfortunately we’ve been extremely let down. With a young family we cannot just go out and purchase another fridge without being refunded, leaving us without appropriate, hygienic storage for perishable foods.
Thai fridge has been terrible – Contacted Lg after we could not receive the cash back because the fridge was delivered 3 months after purchase meaning that we missed the cutoff date to revive the cash back even though we purchased the fridge whilst the cash back offer was being given. the right depth and I can fit enough food in the freezer for my family for two weeks. I bought the matt black finish, it's easy to keep clean, doesn't show marks and it matches my kitchen!

fridge and freezer is getting warmer and warmer. Ice-cream is melting and the meat is getting softer. Contacted LG and awaiting service guys to check the fridge out the second time. I really hope this can be sorted before it break down and doesn't need to live without a fridge like last time.
Two new fridges same model are probably ending up with the same issue. Not a happy customer.

replace the fridge one for one due to a bad component. Of course LG would prefer the cheaper store credit option. We now have to fork out few hundreds dollars to get an equivalent fridge for our family. We have a young baby with working adults who rely on the fridge for groceries and meal preps - in the midst of all this we have had to thrown or give away a significant amount of groceries. To be honest, never again. This is a terrible experience with their customer care and I hope it does not happen to anyone else.

The design is amazing! – I love the fact that It has a lot of space in the freezer and I can organise the frozen food in a very easy way to take out. The fridge maintains the right temperature for the food, it has 2 compartments for veggies and fruits respectively, in order to make them last longer. this LG won us over. It's whisper quiet and yes, our magnets do stick to the side and front - something we had to ask. The only negatives are the door shelves can't be moved and no butter compartment - nearly deal breakers for us. And, you have to give the fridge doors a good shove to shut them - maybe an adjustment is needed. Overall, so far so good. Love it, very happy.
