LG WT-H9506 (9.5kg White) Questions & Answers
VerifiedThe specs say it has a wool setting but it does not. So what settings to use for washing woolens?
If you follow the instruction on page Washing Program from the owner's manual it did say: Step 1: power on Step 2: Press the Program button few times until it selects the Wool setting Step 3: add the laundry
And so on ...
I personally never use Wool setting and can not comment on the result of this setting. To get what LG claims it does is best to read and follow the instruction on the menu carefully and pay attention on the order of each step
Is wt-h9506 out dated machine?
I don't know, I believe it's around 2 1/2 years since release. Be warned though my machine has now (16 months old) has had the cold water inlet valve replaced because it rusted out. Also found most of the spring hose clamps in the machine are rusted to the point of failure.
Sorry I couldn't tell you. I personally would not buy a LG Machine again.
How old is this model?
My machine is almost 10 months old.
Have you had any problems?
Yes the water is never high enough for washing the clothes. Have had it 'fixed' but is still not filling enough. I've been told it's fixed - but then why is it under filling. I have to adjust it most times. This morn a load of towels was filled at level 3. I am told it just covers the wash - well it's no where near. Waiting to hear fron LG rep.
Anyone elses machine stopped draining the water? Hose doesn't seem to be blocked
Never had this problem. I assume this is not a new machine but has been in use for some time and has randomly begun to have this problem? In other words, this machine has been working normally and has not been recently moved, and now has developed the water pump issue? If yes to all, then a repair service is probably needed.
It is 4 months old! all hoses are clean and not blocked .... thinking its the pump
Which cycle is best for delicates in the past all my machines have a specific setting for this
I use the 'wool' cycle. The only problem with it is that the water level is pre-determined, and can't be changed, as is the temperature. Probably best to make up your own one and save it to your favourites, that way you can change the temperature and the water level. I done it based on the wool cycle- so that's 6 minutes of wash, 2 rinses and 1 minute of spin. Works well on delicates.
