Maybe or maybe not a smelly scammer – I placed an order for $4950 worth of lithium batteries and placed the order in my cart as you do! I started the chat to see if they were in Australia. Firstly ask if they were robots. second, to ask where they were located. Saved by the bell so to speak! The answer the next day was cold and one-worded YES to Australia! meanwhile, I looked at the… Read more

12vLifepo is a scam – This battery supplier is a scam. I had same experience as others with this company. Ordered a 200 ah lithium battery 6 months ago. Many emails asking where my battery was, all with same automated response full of promises. Web site leads you to believe that they are Australian. I have found that they are not and no way of contacting them other than email. I should have known better when they wouldn't accept PayPal. Lesson learnt.

LifePO4 Battery died after 3 months – Bought the battery 30/11/21. The battery seemed fine to start with, held charge worked with the fridge/freezer stayed charged. Went to use it again only to fine it was totally dead. Now there is no one to contact for replacement. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE... Thank you to the team at BIG Wei Battery (https://www.bigweibattery.com.au/) for opening up the… Read more

Beware this is a scam – I ordered a battery to do an installation for a customer, I was a bit suspect when they didn't list PayPal as an option to pay. I usually only pay with PayPal, but as company had an address in Queensland I thought it would be OK. How wrong I was, on checking the address is actually for the Amazon fulfillment center. This got me worried, that and… Read more

the lack of answers from the emails I sent. When I received the email telling me of a 55day - week end and public holidays - delivery time, I immediately sent a cancellation of order. No response at all, I have yet to receive one. Do not believe the garentee – Looks like I am a lucky one I actually got a battery. But it was damaged in transit. They told me someone local will get in contact with me never did. Tell me to send it back. Never gave me a address to send it to. Do not buy from this group. Oh and the batteryI got was not the one advertised. Show details

Scamed – Mid July sale now September. After countless emails with only generic replies, I came here and found I wasn't the only one. A battery showed up weighing 23kgs with no markings, I don't even know what it is, looks lead acid from a guess with the weights. Requested money back end of August, no reply yet. Full blown scam. I've reported them to… Read more

ACCC and scamwatch Started the credit card process with only a very small chance and hope.

Don't be fooled

Update. A battery got delivered but it was a 23kg lead acid. They sent an email stating is was delivered, I replied stating they sent a lead acid, reply was too send it back for checking. I told them by no means will I be spending more money in this scam company, the box will be waiting for their courier to collect it.

4 emails have been sent stating I want a refund

Waste of Money – I received a battery in November - it was "plain skinned" - not as was advertised. It was installed however it would not hold charge. I put it on a battery tester, it was faulty. I completed the "On Line" contact twice without success of being contacted. I thought that it might have been because of the flooding however now that I read that other reviews, I can only concur, do not buy from this company

THIS IS A SCAM – Ordered a battery in early November. Have not seen it since. Cannot raise any response apart from a pro forma email from the company. Keeps on claiming that it will take 45 days to arrive, still yet to receive. Today I was told they had just received my order and it was going to be another 55 days. I had to get my bank to get the money back. Thank you ANZ. Screw you LifePO4 This is clearly a scam. Stay away. Show details

Disgusting – We ordered a battery back in October and still waiting; we paid good money and expected a good product...how can we assess such if we do not have delivery of any product!!! Will try consumer protection but no holding out much hope. Don't believe there website return policy. Update. When opened the batteries were full of glass plates. A reboot of Extreme Batteries – Same batteries that Extreme Batteries sold. I bought a 250 AH AGM battery and I only get 24 AH out of it. If you have a look at their address it is an Amazon distribution centre. They drop ship and are probably in China. You get what you pay for. Show details

Totally untrustworthy company – I ordered 2 x batteries from them on November 3rd 2021. After 5 weeks, they still had not arrived, so I emailed them and was informed that they have no idea where they are or when they'll arrive, but that I needed to "allow delivery time within the 45 business days". This was not clear on their website and had I known, I wouldn't have ordered… Read more

Can't Give a Negative Score !!! Would like to – Ordered a 240Ah battery online. Did not get a response re delivery details . Goods supposedly coming from Brisbane. far more research as a result. Company name is not registered. No Tax invoice given upon payment (illegal), no ABN/ACN number. Company name is fake. Paid by credit card (Visa). Checked merchant's details online from the details held by bank. Even that company is not registered and hence a fake !! How could Visa allow a fake scammer to register to charge and receive monies?? Will be reporting this to ACCC and Queensland Consumer Affairs. Consumer affairs were polite but felt they could not help me. Bank refunded the credit card payment. The same company seems to have moved to Hervey Bay from Brisbane. Are consumers still being conned ??
