1 Hayden O.  · If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the worst instructions and organisation I have ever seen in my entire life. Do NOT buy.
1 Mel  · Quality is shocking. The slide feels as though it’s going to snap at any point. Not to mention it has taken days to put together. Not worth the price point.
1 T Annoyed  · Product is good but arrived without the required nuts for the bolt attachments. Very annoying as can’t be assembled without them.
4 Allison I  · Slide is a little steep for the cubby house. If not careful kids will go head first down like our child did.
2 Fred T.  · Relies on customer to do the work – I have better things to do than spend 4 hours of my time assembling a sandpit.
4 Shaun  · Greet cubby – Little man will love it. Still unassembled due to the wet. Great service at pickup. Paying a transfer fee as Sydney doesn’t have stock sucks

I purchased the Oakley swing the 120 cm in September 30 2023 within few week the swing was tilting and no matter what we did it continued . The frame even moved which I did ring but many times was told to adjust the swing and not much on the frame . Then eventually they sent a gentleman with a new Swing but realised later it wasn’t the same size… Read more

it was the smaller swing . We are still having problems with the swing and the frame is just not safe it feels it will collapse . My grandson with special needs gets quite upset as the swing is constantly tilted. We have similar swing we purchased for all our grandkids back home snd have never had that swing tilt . I don’t recommend this swing . When your a pensioner and spend that much money you think the quality would have been better .

Bought the Kingston cubby 2 years ago. I paid to have it fully painted to protect it. It is rotting and dangerous now after only 2 years. I will be reaching out for a resolution.

EDIT : NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL ME TO GIVE UPDATE! I SPent all day conversing with customer service. They are well aware this may be my final Christmas with my children and that I had gone above and beyond to make it special as it can be..i have booked me for Christmas night to build this for extra magic..i can't get a refund on that..they missed… Read more

any other booking. So the 19th is the day I was told..i waited till the end of the day to contact and I am told it was NEVER SCHEDULED for the 19th! It's the 23rd!! Furious I called them because someone is talking rubbish if that was never the date !! They tell me now 29th December!!! In 55 years of preorders, special orders, over seas order, I have NEVER had something later than the date I was told.. You don't think this is hard enough fore being so I'll. You can't even be bothered letting me know there are further delays!!! I now feel incredibly sick and heartbroken ..these days prior to Christmas, carefully planned for the best we can, are now going to filled with angst over what I am going to do!

Original . I contacted customer service prior to purchasing from this company to ensure stock would arrive for Christmas. I was told 6th December. This was on the 2nd December. So I went ahead and ordered. I also asked them to correct the email address. Which they confirmed they had. Now I'm told 19th December is not guaranteed so instead of enjoying Christmas I am not devastated, crying, physically ill. As a single mother how am I supposed to arrange to pick this up once kids have finished school? They are trying to tell me they sent an email on the 2nd December advising the later date... But I spoke to them late in the day on the 2nd December and ordered after hours. So come one now get it right.. The Grinch didn't steal Christmas - Lifespan Kids did!

The best flat pack ever – The Darlington Play Centre looked like a nightmare when it arrived in 4 boxes weighing over 150kg. The flat pack from hell. But it was heaven. Each pce clearly marked, hardware for each stage in a marked plastic bag and all the tool bits you need. Just require 2 screw guns. It was ingenious how it went together and is a quality product. I started… Read more

off in a garage on a flat concrete floor, then with help of a friend carried it to my outside location before adding wall cladding so it was still light. Fantastic product.

For those that aren’t Handy, it’s good – It looks good, the instructions are Okay. The wood I believe won’t last with a few heavy impacts if you have rough children. Some of the screws and their holes didn’t work and needed extra holes to fasten. If you can build your own from scratch then it should beat this one. But if you aren’t Handy, this works fine.

Amazing cubby and rewarding build – Spent 2.5 days this week building the cubby I got from Lifespan Kids with the assistance of my Dad, for my daughter and any future children the Lord blesses us with. Looks amazing and is very well designed. Our daughter loves it, and I love it too. Thank you Lifespan kids.

“Best birthday present ever!” – My daughter was stoked to get the Jungle Safari with flying fox for her birthday. Both kids (6 & 9) absolutely love it. It was very straightforward to put together and Lifespan were great to deal with. Very happy with our purchase!

I purchased the Finley cuppy house with slide platform and was very excited as the product looked very good on the website. However, I was very disappointed at the quality of the product that turned up. Parts damaged, contacted their team to get replacement was told they were out of stock and would be six to eights from their supplier in China… Read more

(the parts that were damaged were both roof panels, so the cubby has no roof for 6 weeks). Some of the Instructions aren’t clear and some panels didn’t line up correctly so the holes for the bolts were slightly off. A lot of the bolt holes weren’t drilled properly. The roof panels didn’t line up properly, contacted their team for advice/solution, they replied, and said they would pass it on to their specialist team and they would be in touch, still waiting and that was 5 days ago. I thought the product was going to be a lot better quality for the money it cost. I would probably not recommend this product and will not recommending it to anyone, I will probably do the opposite and tell people to save their money and buy something else.

6 months ago, we bought a $2,000 Coventry cubby house, swings and slide kit for our toddler (to grow in to). Upon arrival, there were damaged parts (which we thought nothing of), and didn't bother sending in a claim for these. However, after 3 months of use, the slide snapped off from the cubby house (noting it is only held in by two screws). We… Read more

submitted a request to have this item replaced, however, Lifespan advised that we misused the product. I don't see how a 12kg toddler using the slide it outside the normal use for the product. Instead of assisting us, they sent us a price list to buy a new slide. We will NEVER purchase anything from Lifespan ever again, and we definitely will not be recommending any of the products to our family and friends with children. Lifespan's products are cheap, and their customer service is terrible. As stated above, they pretend to care on review platforms, however, when you need genuine help they will definitely not assist you if it costs them. If I could request a full refund for our purchase I would.

I've attached pictures of the slide being completely off the cubby (next to my toddler's feet), as well as images of the other broken items, such as the roof bracing, kitchen tap, and chalk board holder.

We love our Kensington play centre. It took 2.5 days to put up. Instructions were easy to follow. Kids age 2 and 4 love it. Did take a afew months to be delivered but we weren't in a rush to get it, so didn't mind the wait. But overall great play centre.

Follow-up  · All the pieces of wood were numbered, which made it easy to know which went where. Which made it easy to follow the instructions. We put the play centre together just over a month ago, it's still going strong even after alot of rain. Kids like the rock climbing, the slide and the picnic seat the best. But will grow in to the monkey bars and look out, they are aged 2 and 4.

Trampoline seems good and easy to put together, but a real pain needing someone else to lift and move it. Some of us are single parents or single by choice. When mowing I have to move it and 3 of the plastic feet have already broken, cannot see the others lasting. The legs are made so the feet must be on. I have bought tennis balls to cut up to… Read more

see if those do a better job than the feet. Given the cost, it is a pity the feet break so easily when all else seems good.

I have just spent the weekend building a Darlington Play Centre for my grand children. Manufactured to precision, the instructions perfectly displayed and simple to use, the products made of quality (of the hundreds of screws and bolts used, not one was burred, broken or had the thread stripped) and the final product was a delight to behold, I… Read more

Purchased the Greenvale play set. Arrived within 5 days. Easy to follow instructions and took a couple hours to put together. Seems to be great quality and kids love it. Only annoyance was the packages arrived a couple days apart (more to do with courier I think) but I contacted the customer service team and they were straight onto it

Recently purchased a Bobcat foldable swing set. Paid more than other brands after reading reviews. Delivery was excellent. Assembly was a nightmare. Took three grown, competent men three hours! Instructions hopeless. Product far less sturdy than expected. Would not recommend.

See saw fell apart within a year. Thought the product was great and the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately the wood cracked, rotted and broke apart within a year. Very dangerous and very disappointing. The description and instructions claimed the wood was treated and great quality etc might need maintenance after a year. I couldn’t believe it… Read more

actually disintegrated. After sales support was terrible. They said it should’ve been maintained more regularly and not left outside. No warranty as by the time I got in touch with someone it was just over a year . I asked if I could buy parts instead, but heard nothing back. So that was a waste of a few hundred dollars.

This is not a professional business, online order processed and paid for freight direct to door, Invoice states delivery direct to door with additional freight charge. Overall you seem to get what you pay for. They are generally cheaper than competitors which leads you to jump on what seems like a good deal. But the longevity and quality of the products will likely fail before others. We have purchased 3 products that have all now fallen apart relatively quickly. A wooden swing set that is now in the bin as… Read more

the wood rot was too bad and was not salvageable. A trampoline that has rusted out and multiple poles have now snapped, also going in the bin. And a cubby house where wood rot has started to affect items like the stairs. I have managed to build my own replacement set but am awaiting other areas to start deteriorating.

The warranty agendas are hidden and obscure - rust is only covered if it is from the manufacturer and not if it comes naturally.

Overall would recommend if just needing something short term as the price will get you through. For larger and more expensive items I would fork out the extra for better products.

Absolute trash product. 2 weeks outside in QLD weather and covered in mould already. Lifespans response 'sand it back and treat it'. I quote from their website ' The timber undergoes a high-temperature treatment, making it durable, resistant to rot and decay, and sustainably sourced to ensure a brighter future for your children.' resistant for less than 2 weeks - awesome stuff guys, you should be ashamed.

Pathetic – 0 stars cubby house is unsafe to use. Wood broken, windows broken, roof broken, unsafe floor. Not weather proof, highly dissapointing. Cubby is made to go on stilts with a slide and it is not safe to have it like that. My child would be in danger using this product.

Waste of money – If l could give them a zero l would. I brought the Archie cubby house for my grandson, the roof capping is spilt along with other pieces of wood. The windows do not meet up to close and have gaps above and below them, the screw holes do not align. The flimsy floor is held together with one bracket, we will not be putting it up on the legs to access the slide as we believe it will be to unsafe… SHAME ON YOU LIFESPAN

Christmas Disappointment – Missing Parts & Last-Minute Chaos – Extremely long delivery time with no updates. Bunnings had to step in and hand-deliver it just days before Christmas, leaving us scrambling. My poor husband was painting on Christmas Eve and assembling at 4 AM on Christmas morning. Then, on setup, we realized all the slider parts were missing, leaving our kids heartbroken on Christmas Day.… Read more

Eventually, they shipped the parts, but never followed up. To top it off, the slide installation instructions were completely missing from the manual. A frustrating experience overall—would not recommend.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! – Purchased Strongbox XL Square sandpit and after only one use the hinges on the seats have pulled away from the timber meaning that the seats can no longer be used and when they are shut they overlap. a huge deal because if one of the screws is to fall out of the hinges and into the sand my toddler or baby could very easily put it into their mouth and choke!!! This product should be recalled and customers should be given a full refund!!! Children are in huge danger (even with adult supervision!) I have read every response from Lifespan on the reviews below and it appears they take no accountability for selling unsafe products. If I don’t hear back, I’m contacting Consumer Affairs because never ever have I purchased such a terrible product; my husband and I are devastated. Will not recommend and will definitely never purchase from here again.

Instructions weren’t clear – My dad got me your trampoline and the instructions were not clear at all at did not display how to put the net on the top of the trampoline, but the trampoline is still good.

Great swing but assembly difficult – Overall pretty good swing Missed one small bolt and had an extra large bolt which resulted in nut with a broken safety cap. Round mesh swing construction and absolute nightmare, the rubber covers the holes so it’s incredibly hard to get the eye bolts through, but sturdy once together. All in all better QA would go a long way.

No thank you

Landing – I recently bought a cubby for the grandkids which is awesome but a flaw with the design of the slide is a problem it gives no option but to land heavily on your butt it needs to be more elongated to slow you down and land on your feet

Do not purchase! – Wish could give 0 stars. The wooden holt swing set was horrible to build and lasted no longer than a few weeks before cracking. Please do not waste your money or time on this product. They refuse to replace or refund and have terrible customer service. The product was dangerous and not fit for purpose.
