Would give zero stars if I could
Similar to others here, I ordered the kids gifts online from TOys R Us, in November well in advance of the day we were going to celebrate xmas (a week early as we were going away). Zero feedback from customer service for 10 days, despite paying for expedited shipping ‘just to be sure’. 2 days before ‘our Xmas’ still no delivery, And 1/2 of the order was refunded due to no longer in stock (despite showing availability when I ordered them & CHARGED to my credit card a day or 2 after I ordered them!!!). So I was left with no choice to do exactly w...hat I wanted to avoid doing by shopping online early (as in NOVEMBER!!) and have to race around in traffic & crowds to try find suitable gifts for the kids a week before Xmas. It was so stressful. Now the customer service at Toys RUs wont issue a refund or pay for return shipping for the late delivery and thus duplicate gifts despite my daily calls or emails to them prior to delivery explaining my predicament. Now I’m told by them that I need to send photo & video footage of the items (WTH? Why?) before they will consider a refund but ALL shipping will be at MY expense (Au post quoted $26 for the return plus the $16 already paid) for $100 worth of goods. So livid!!! I’m so angry that In order to release the negative energy Toys r Us have bought to my life, I’m going to donate the toys to the fire victims and will NEVER buy from Toys R Us again. Any wonder toys r us went under the first time round. Do not waste your time or money on them nor believe the crap advertising claims they make on their website.

Promised Xmas delivery
So, where do I start, ordered a nerf gun rack online 2/12/19, was informed that the product would be In store 12/12, it’s now 8:55 pm Xmas eave and I’m still waiting, paid the little extra for twilight same day delivery 6-9pm. The first couple of email follow ups on the 12/12 were answered but since then, no emails have been answered, not happy at all, I have a little boy who is going to miss out on a big part of his Xmas presents. I will not recommended ToysRus to anyone moving forward. So disappointed in the lack of customer service and reliability. Not happy!
Steer clear of Toys r us online!
Promised Christmas delivery with plenty of lead time. Didn’t deliver along with deceptive and terrible customer service. I can’t see how this will build your online store. Never again will I use them or recommend anyone else use them.
Worst online shopping experience in my life.
I purchased a ride on car for my granddaughter's Christmas gift from ToysRUs online store. At checkout I was asked to verify my credit card by clicking on an email link and adding amounts and particulars which I certainly wasn't going to do. The email said if I didn't click the link the debit on my card would drop off my statement in three days. A week later I have been charged two unauthorised amounts. My bank said they have never heard of this type of verification and they are a big bank. Now I am trying to get my money back but have had no response from the company. They have no number to call. It is now in the hands of the bank. Stay well clear of this online scam company I think it must be run by overseas interests.
Toys R Us, more like Terrible R Us
Purchased an item, finally got a response that my order was being processed 3 buisiness days later. Then got an email 3 buisness days after that it was being sent. I paid extra for express shipping to have it within the 3 buisiness days!!! They still have not sent it after over a week. I've made multiple attempts at contact through enquiry forms on their website and they never responded. Still have not recieved the item. Wouldnt purchase from them again. I would prefer to travel far and wide to avoid them. Horrible customer service.

I went in your Marsden store yesterday. I bought the bmw model car for my daughter. I was very excited..as i follow the instructions for arranging it, I found no wire on the dashboard ...so i connected the huntergames...they advise me they have no service person, they are on distributors...the reception advise me to take back and do the refund ....
so i went today ...i ask the girl about the manager...
Manager marsden park...i explain everything...
He started getting aggressive towards me ..telling me its my fault. The wire isn't ther...e ...after finishing his anger he told he is the only manager who is offering me brand me other one, other manager should have told me walk away.. There was a fault in the product that why i went back and shown really bad customer service i have received in my life.
Thanks again toys r us... you will be missed
Brought a beautiful lightning Mc queen watch with camera AND A MUG FROM toys r us .GREAT STORE GREAT PLACE LOVE IT, The service was great, efficient and knowledge of the products. We will miss you ... our favourite shop and now closing down......
Inflated prices prior to sale.

I was horrified at the inflated prices of their Lego. Looked at one kit that was marked at $59.99 (however, there was the 5% off or $2.99). Next door at Target or Kmart the price for the same kit was $39.00 (Not on sale).
Baby clothes sizes run too small.
Had two sets of size 1 baby pyjamas, but the arms are so tight, it's only 3cm in diameter, like as wide as for a newborn baby's arms. My one year old is smaller than the average one year old too.
Tried to return them, but even though they are Babies r Us branded clothes, they still won't give a refund. Avoid at all costs.
Also, watch out for the fake positive reviews, they're the ones that go online and write one review only.
No point redemption and they also ditched the online giftcards and not honouring any of these
Toys R Us was good, really good pre 21/5. That all went down hill after the fiasco of the American counterpart. Over the year I have collected a decent amount of VIP points and some online giftcards given to me as a gift. However, without any prior notice or even a warning email, they decided to ditch all of those. The joke is that I even received an assurance email stating “business as per usual”, without even mentioning anything about these sneaky decisions.
I don't know how bad this will go. I also acknowledge that they reserve the right ...to do this without any notice, But saving a few dollars by taking away from your customers is not a real good way to do business. This is particularly true when you need your customers to sustain your business. Now there is no incentive to buy toys from your store. While there is a big competition in toy industry and I can easily find better deals elsewhere, pushing away your loyal customers isn't a good business practice. Additionally, the price is also high, no sale, no free shipping. VIP club is now a true joke. For me, this is a true greed and just final last beats to a dying heart, very disappointed.

Would like to know if you do toys review for children so my kids can do reviews on some few toys
I placed an order online on 6th April leaving Doncaster store. It’s now 14th April and tracking is still stating awaiting pick up. My order tracking number is 43053732 and it seems even Fastaway don’t have this number registered. Very hard to make contact with anyone from Toys R Us to find out where my 2 x kids chairs are and when we might get them. Very very disappointed
I have a layby that is for 6 months. I want to delete 2 items from my layby without cancelling. Is this possible ?
I don't believe so. You would need to pay it off n when they finalize it they will arrange a refund. Otherwise they will cancel the whole lot keep the admin fee and start again.
