Purchasing from online store is a headache.
The physical store was good but the online store is a headache.I bought a HSP remote series car from toysrus and it is faulty with series of issues.Contacted Toysrus on the on the same day of delivery through email as they wont take the call.The communication is very slow as well as very unreliable from a customer point of view.
Don’t buy form Toys R Us
Bought a fisher and price trike and took about a week to arrive. Built the trike and it is very cheap looking and Quilty wise. Thing didn’t even come with a belt to strap my kid in. Contacted Toys R us to ask for a exchange for a different brand. They refused due to it being opened / built. So now I’m stuck with a poor quality trike that cost $200. Don’t buy from them.

Order Via their ebay Toysrus store , took my money and said is shipped and 3 weeks later said the "warehouse " made mistake and oversold is , those long time to refunds and i will never buy from their online store again ,

I ordered something express shipping and it took them 3 weeks to even dispatch my order. When I sent a million follow up emails they never responded. Weeks later I finally received a response just offering a shipping refund from express to standard. My order has since been shipped and was not even shipped with express shipping just normal shipping.
Express shipping is just a rip off
Paid extra for express shipping, it has been nearly 2 weeks now and it hasn't even been shipped. I emailed them and they said it was with the warehouse for dispatch and that was 5 days ago and offered to cancel and refund my order. I wouldn't be fussed if i hadn't paid extra for express shipping and expected it in that time. That's just misleading really.

A week ago I ordered something online with express shipping it said it would arrive in two days it hasn’t even been sent yet I emailed them and they were no help they just offered a refund
I followed up after making an Express Delivery order online, 7 days later nothing dispatched, unknown when disptach will actually take place, would rather refund than sort it out. Did not care at all.
Do not trust Toys r us
Nearly 3 weeks after I ordered they cancelled the order saying it was too heavy to ship, but refund would take 5+ business days. I bet shipping rates increased so they took the easy route because they don't care. Hardly wrap your apology up for Christmas.
Do your research, they are not trustworthy!
I ordered via Express delivery from Toys R Us online, it didn’t dispatch until 6 days later only because I suggested I would be making an official consumer complaint to the ACCC and relevant state of fair trading. Within ‘1 Minute’ of sending this email to them, I received a response that my order had been dispatched with tracking! This was a generic response, not a customer service response by an assistant. They literally never answer their phone calls (main number on Australian website: (03) 9005 1750- let’s see if they answer or change their...number now!), it just calls out and I tested it for a long time, there is no voicemail to leave a message, they never reply to their emails or ‘online ticket’ enquires. I had experienced this during the 6 days of waiting and asking for my order just to dispatch. Who has experienced any online assistance before from Toys R Us? I am really interested to know. There are no actual active online representatives for the store! They do not exist for communication as I can tell, which makes it untrustworthy and a very non-transparent way to run a business. After doing research, apparently the company had 64,000 employees before entering into liquidation, now as of 2020 they only have 70 employees. That tells me there is something seriously wrong with the business. I have heard other customers were not able to receive a refund and some have been over $1,000 that they were not able to gain back from their order on other review sites. This company should be reported, it catches many consumer victims as customers are shopping for CHILDREN products! Disgraceful. If the company continues to operate- it needs a complete overhaul, new management and genuine customer service assistants who ‘respond’ to their customers within 24hrs. If you have any issues with dispatch, delivery or claiming a refund, REPORT the company. Make an official complaint to the ACCC and your state fair trading if in Australia. Lots of parents are getting duped by this online store in Australia and internationally. Keep track of your orders vigorously with them. ~ I have since received my order from Toys R Us, the Express delivery was fast and the items are thankfully in great condition. I can’t believe how long I had to raise my concern though over the dispatch time and just to get a response from their customer service. The customer service (no name provided) sent an email to me only ‘after’ my order had been delivered, not ‘before’ to assist with any troubleshooting and the long dispatch time. They apologised and stated the response wait time is 2-3 days. As I’ve seen in other reviews, no wonder some customers don’t receive any notice or their orders until a month later when they don’t speak-up! Toys R Us online really need better communication and dispatch times for their customers to avoid misunderstandings and to ensure transparency. End of story.
Don’t get the baby born bath tub!!!!!
Purchased bath tub for $75 or so, and the shower head stopped working after 1 bath.... no idea why.
Save your money. Buy off eBay for $4 :)

Item never arrived. I contacted them, no response. Called them, no answer. I sent a message to them via instagram and was told my item is out of stock. After 6 weeks I finally got a refund. Will never buy from them again

I ordered on line and it said item was in stock. A few days later I received an email to say my order is waiting on another consignment. This was disappointing as it did say in stock. I then was disappointed as it was for my granddaughters birthday. I then read the product reviews about ordering an item that is not in stock and then you cancel and you don’t get your money back. I of course got extremely concerned. I must say they returned my money in 24hrs. Disappointed about not getting the goods but I did appreciate getting good service.

I cannot believe how bad their customer service is and how many people this company has scammed since it went online. It's been two weeks since I ordered more than $300 worth of stuff and I still haven't received anything and I have not been provided with any tracking information or explanation about what is happening with my order. I just got a lazy reply saying that they will respond within 2-3 days, That was a week ago, I will have to go through the process of contacting my bank to get my money back and will report this company to consumer affairs for being so dodgy,

Terrible Express Delivery Service. Beware!!!!
I placed an order with Toys r Us Australia (which is not the original Toys r Us but renamed Hobby Warehouse) via Express Post a week ago today for an important occasion. I ordered the item on the 15th and it arrived on the 24th. For an express shipping order, which I paid more for, it arrived very late and this unacceptable. I should have paid standard delivery which would have arrived at the same time. I emailed customer service about a refund for the express shipping cost but have received nothing. This is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT if they can not delivery express shipping. Clearly, they are pocketing the money. Thieves. The original Toys r Us would not have done this. BEWARE!!
I am very disappointed in Toys R Us. I ordered 3 items through Toys R Us online and Hobby Warehouse. In each case the item was listed on the website as being available. Each of those three sales were then cancelled as the item was not available. In each case it took between 7-9 days before the sale was cancelled. I do not think it is reasonable to take 9 days to find out that a product is not available. Poor service. And in each case the reason was given that there were no items in warehouse that were not broken and unfit for purchase.

Impressed that they use Aust Post to deliver unlike other shops, came quickly! The only thing is they didn't have the dinosaur pack in stock which i wanted to order so that was annoying

I placed an order online on 6th April leaving Doncaster store. It’s now 14th April and tracking is still stating awaiting pick up. My order tracking number is 43053732 and it seems even Fastaway don’t have this number registered. Very hard to make contact with anyone from Toys R Us to find out where my 2 x kids chairs are and when we might get them. Very very disappointed
