Unsatisfactory design
We ordered the eco ground mount which is 2150mm in height, take 500mm recommended for depth in the ground leaves 1650mm high. I am 162 cm tall and with unfinished paving underneath I hit my head on the line. We will have to cut it off and buy some steel to try and fix this. We had it installed by the company and after contacting the company they said that there is nothing wrong with the design. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

no customer service after waiting for two weeks no product and after following up still dont know when will arrive but will be after 4 weeks. shocking and no good will gesture or proactive customer service. good luck in surviving in todays social media world!

Poor customer service
I ordered the EcoDry portable clotheslines since June and still not received it till today. The company explained that due to lacking material so the manufacturing could not be done and that the product will be available to delivery within the 1st and 2nd week of August. However, there wasn't any delivery till today. While waiting for my delivery, I did not receive any email notifying about the delay and suggesting other options for buyer. Clothesline restrung
Had ours restrung last Oct. now 7 months later two wires are sagging. Guess what. 6 month warranty only. Thought it was great when done. But after sales service. Very poor. We’ll fix it ourself

Appalling service
I placed order 5 weeks ago paid extra $38 for freight outside free delivery zone (TAS). They are now changing the goal posts on the original contract of sale. Expecting me to pay an additional $82 freight.

Latest delivery time blew out with no communication from LC
Latest delivery time for clothesline (as per their website) blew out and I had to contact them for updates as had not received anything from LC. Product, when received, is fine to date but other posts indicate issues with delivery timelines, so beware

Poor quality, poor customer service
Received the stainless steel clothesline which had plastic coated wires. Gary was most unhelpful to put it very diplomatically. This business is running a second outfit called Australian Made Clotheslines and running false "sales" on Lifestyle Clotheslines. I discovered this when trying to ring the manufacturer of the clothesline as Gary was so "unhelpful", turns out Gary has the lines manufactured for his own business so no joy trying to go direct to the manufacturer. The plastic is already peeling off the wire where it goes through the metal eyelets. No surprises there, poor quality product and grossly over priced. Good luck if you choose to buy from this business, you'll need it.

Time delays and very poor communication
I ordered a line 4th December 22 their web site states in peak times it will be 10 to 15 days production.
I did not receive the line before Christmas and of course like most places they closed over Christmas.
My complaint is I would have thought my line would have been made before Christmas but it wasn't.
All my emails to them were not responded to at all not even a generation one to say "out of office"etc.
I called on the 9th January and the person could not answer any of my questions and I felt it was an answering service for the company.

Can recommend the product but not the installation
Pretty good clothesline for the money really. Could be better with clip tensioners. I can't recommend their installation. If you can do it yourself, you'd be better off or if you know someone. I've seen huge concrete driveway pours cleaner than this. Took me hours to clean up the mess.

I purchased an Eco portable clothesline from Lifestyle Clothes Lines and it is crap! I paid a whopping $336 for a flimsy clothesline that rocks and is not solid at all.
BUYER BEWARE
Their happiness guarantee is worth nothing. If you aren’t happy with your item, you have to get it to another state before you get your money back. [Name Removed] is an absolute rude so and so who has no customer service skills whatsoever. He wouldn’t know how to be professional if he tried.

Can the austral foldaway be lowered it's too high for my partner
Yes, the austral foldaway can be lowered
Hi Tony, Yes the Austral Foldaway rotary clothesline can be lowered. It does depend on the position of the bar in the ground socket. There is a bar inside the socket that is set by the user when installing. this controls the height of the clothesline. If the clothesline is to high when in its lowest position, the socket would need to be dug up and the bar lowered in the socket, then re-concreted in. Hope this helps.
