* PAYPAL REFUNDS - make sure you show/attach copies of your attempts to contact seller/get order completed, and the liquidation email. I did that and my paypal refund was approved (submitted it 28/1/26, approved 7/2/26) Ordered clothesline mid November, they said there would be delays. Mid jan I emailed to follow up on order with no reply. A week… Read more

later, emailed again and no reply. Googled and saw other people saying they were going into liquidation. Then about 5 days later I received email advising of liquidation, they said they would try to provide product or refund. 2 weeks later, email from liquidators advising little chance of goods being provided. Thankfully I’d already submitted info to paypal and requested refund.

Very frustrated! We ordered a clothesline back in November 2025. I contacted in January and was advised via return email that it would be "dispatched soon". I now see that the company has gone in to liquidation, only by visiting their website. There has been no communication to me about this and there appears to be no way of contacting the company.

Great Overall – Ordered without an issue, ordered slightly smaller than larger as others had issues and it fitted perfectly. Thanks! Show details ·  1

Not impressed one bit – First of all, they didn’t dispatch my item out for almost a month after I ordered with absolutely 0 communication as to why. Secondly it arrived with multiple scratches and dents on the arms which cannot be fixed unless you powder coat it again. Thirdly they sent me two right arm mounts so I can’t even mount my clothes line properly. Really not impressed, there’s plenty of these companies around so avoid this one at all costs!

Uncomplicated and straightforward – I had to renovate an apartment following the departure of a long term Tenant. The complex had clothesline on the ground floor which is not all that secure, so I wanted to install a clothesline on the balcony space. Something that didn't take up too much room, yet was functional for the next Tenant. I was fortunate enough to find the Artweger… Read more ·  1

Ruck Zuck Wall Mounted Clothes Airer on the Lifestyle Clothesline site.

This product is the Swiss-Army Knife of clotheslines in that it can accommodate a full load of regular washing, yet can fold away and be unobtrusive (i.e the best of both worlds).

The product was delivered in a reasonable time frame and the instructions for the installation were straight forward.

updated! No offer of refund. They had lied about shipping and gave a fake tracking number as we rang courier company direct! They knew all along they were going into liquidation and were quite happy to steal Customers money for orders they had no intention of fulfilling! I suggest for any other poor victims to try and get a chargeback through your bank! This Company is absolutely appalling! We have lost $500 on an invisible clothesline. I did tell my Husband to buy through Bunnings or Mitre10 at least we would oh had a clothesline by now.

Poor customer service! We would not have had a clue our ordered made on the 24th November was going to be delayed, it was only that my husband emailed to make an enquiry, that we were told . Now to further find out, office will be closed until 12th January! This is why I did not want my husband’s to order online.

Follow-up  · Follow up! No change! Still hoping to receive a chargeback from bank. No communication at all from Lifestyle Clothesline.

Follow-up  · Update to follow up! We were able to do a chargeback from bank! Lifestyle clotheslines had the audacity to try and dispute transaction with bank, saying that we received item! Thank goodness we have all correspondence, plus lack of correspondence of replies to our emails as proof! As well as fake tracking number that we were given.

I had an order from December and they have just sent me a notification of a full refund. Highest respect for this company. They have encountered problems... Big companies like Bunnings is making it just about impossible for smaller Aussie companies to stay in business. Show details

And the wait continues ..........one thing I understand with this company is communication isn't their strong point even the installer who text to say he was available to install said clothesline couldn't understand why there was no access to the property as I had told them from the beginning that no one would be home only on fridays to Monday s… Read more

otherwise would have to be late in the afternoon as we worked and there was no access to house so they could plan the installation for the required availability.......apparently this message was lost after the money was paid in full as installer said no one told him and he would have to reschedule for the following week that was almost two weeks ago have heard nothing since ......rang lifestyle clotheslines today only to get excuses as some installers only do certain areas on certain days yet this was also conveniently left out during ordering process Well screw you lifestyle clotheslines refund my money if you can't figure it out It's absolute nonsense how you treat customers I would have given no freaking stars if I could Just disappointed on all levels maybe the ACCC can get you to fulfil your obligations seeing as you can't

Very happy with clothesline and service – Just some feedback re my communication with your company, Lifestyle Clotheslines. my old line at a cost of $200 plus extra for clips, so a time was made with Matt to do that 9am last Wednesday. Unfortunately due to the age of my line it couldn’t be re wired so I was left with no choice but to ring and order a replacement clothes line, again getting Gary on the phone who talked me through my options. He was very helpful, polite, making the decision and payment very easy, installation booking made for today. Contact from Matt all along has been brilliant, even advising he would be here an hour earlier today than original appt time, and even ringing me on Good Friday morning to make original appointment. Customer service all along has been 100% from all involved and I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone needing a new clothes line or repairs to their current one. Matt was even happy enough to change a light globe for me on my back porch this morning, his payment being a block of chocolate which he appreciated. I also liked your costing, flat fee for installation of new line and removal of old line no matter what was involved. Overall very impressive company and in my experience I certainly have no complaints at all. Thank you.

Austral clothsline – Bought an Austral clothsline from Lifestyle. Delivery speed was good even during the Christmas holiday period. the same day and organized a replacement. Overall a good experience. Couple of suggestions: 1. I would prefer that the order form be clear that the Coach screws for Hard walls are not included. I had to scramble to get them from Bunnings for the installer. Surprisingly even the packaging says 2XCoach screws but doesnt state if they are needed or included. A bit confusing. Otherwise the replacement product is all good 2. The first week of the new year apparently is a shut down period for Lifestyle. Nowhere on the website it was mentioned as such. I made several calls and waited indefinitely on the chat(which btw provides and auto response that someone will chat in a few minutes). Would be good to know when its shutdown rather than assuming and/or wasting time calling you

I ordered a line 25th March and finally received it 22nd April. Longer than anticipated, However, I must certainly complimen Dallas who did the installation. He was efficient, quick and a very nice young bloke. I'm extremely happy with the line. It is of excellent quality, easy to use and much better than my old one that 'died'. Thank you Dallas for a great job. Very happy with the final result.

Good experience – Good instructions, easy to install, easy to thread the line, Works well in our small courtyard and folds against the wall out of the way when not in use. Well built and is a quality clothes line. I used lifestyle clothes lines because of the variety of styles and sizes. Highly recommend! Show reply

Placed an order last year and was told there was supply issues and there would be a long delay. I was ok with waiting for the product. Clearly this was a lie, the company now in liquidation. These crooks owe me $300.

Ordered in Oct 2025, chased up numerous times after the waiting period passed in Dec & early Jan, advised of delay twice, then finally told at they’d gone into liquidation after my most recent query. How do I get my $400+ refunded?

DO NOT buy from here. I ordered a clotheslines online on the 3rd of Jan and they contacted me on the 19th of Jan saying they had gone into liquidation and couldn’t fulfil my order. DO NOT order from here. No refund and no delivery of product. They continued to ‘sell’ online over the Christmas break, taking hundreds of dollars from people even though they know they were in liquidation. Show details

I ordered a clothesline on November 4th and received an email weeks later offering a different product or a one month wait on my order. No offer of refund. Further emails over 2 months citing issues with supplier and response to my email last night is that they have appointed a liquidator. Looks like I've lost my money as they have not responded to my request for the process to receive a refund.

I feel for everyone who has been ripped of by this company. I'm sure at one stage (based on the positive reviews) this was a good company that has gone downhill for whatever reason. I paid over $600 in mid-December to find out this week they were in liquidation. Reach out to your bank and see if they can assist. My bank were able to help and I got… Read more

Gut-wrenching... As with many others here this company has taken my money for a clothesline and installation. No mention of the installer, the parts or claims… Read more

for refunds. I'm looking into options to recoup my $518. My trust was based partly on great reviews so WDYT - genuine? I so hate to feel stupid; I will be chasing this up with the bank/card company and with the liquidator if that is what is happening. If I can afford it later in the year I'll be heading to a real shop with real products to replace my old line - I was hooked in by deals and specials and this was a very expensive mistake.
