On the day of construction it was a pleasure to have Paul, Corey & Andrew on site. The professional, friendly and efficient way that they went about their work gave me a lot of confidence in the job being done. The completed job exceeded my expectations, but the finishing touches of clearing the site and wiping down the entire surface area gave it a special conclusion.

Run for the hills! Ripped off. Leaking roof. Don't care once they got your money attitude – For 13 years I put up with an old carport roof that leaked. The whole purpose of getting a new carport was to have a new roof and be free of leaks when it rains. Do you do gable roofs I asked the salesman. We can do anything he said. He omitted to inform that Lifestyle Patio gable roofs LEAK right along the centre beam, ridge cap, so right in the… Read more

What they omitted to inform was that the product they use AUSDECK cannot seal along the ridge/does not have a ridge cap like every other tin roof you can install like Colourbond for instance. Instead they just put a metal flap along the ridge and fail to provide that highly relevant information about not having a proper ridge cap. Not only that, the other thing they fail to verbally notify you of at point of sale so as to insure your fully informed, is that you have to clean the underside of the roof 'at least' every 6 months. Otherwise the cheap and flimsy AUSDECK material gets dirty rusts spots and you'll have a rusty and rotting roof within a couple of years. I have a bad shoulder and scared of heights could never attend to such a mammoth and risky physical cleaning task. The entire experience for me has been nothing less than an expensive nightmare. Had they told me about the leaking roof I would never have gone ahead with Lifestyle Patios because the main reason for me getting a new roof was to enjoy being dry when standing under my carport roof. Instead now when it rains it is actually WORSE than the leaking from my old carport roof. It is disgusting that they don't tell people the truth. When I told their build manager about what they have done he said that maybe they should start telling people what to expect. Also, after admitting liability they then offered to charge me nearly $1000 to install a wider ridge cap!!! I would NEVER use AUSDECK or LIFE STYLE again nor would I ever recommend either to anyone. Run for the Hills and get yourself a real roof - one that doesn't leak and that you don't have to waste you precious time and energy in cleaning.

wet and had to move under the main roof squashed up with our visitors and madly moving the wooden furniture out of the rain. As it was Easter Sunday I immediately rang head office on the Tuesday stating the problem and was told "you can't have it both ways, the breeze and no rain". I couldn't believe my ears. Why would I have accepted a quote knowing that the rain would come in when I could have gone with the cheaper option and had it butted up against the house with no breeze and no rain? I was then told to ring the person who gave the quote, which I did. No answer so left a message. No reply. The lovely man who installed the pergola turned up on my doorstep unannounced about a week later to check out the "leak". Told him there was no leak and explained about the flyover. Didn't hear another thing until a threatening email was sent from the company demanding payment that day or a further 20% would be added to the bill. I immediately rang Jason (the Manager, I think) who simply would not accept what I had to say and just kept demanding payment or he would sue. Very disagreeable manner. I tried reasoning with him to even reduce the price to the cheaper option but he replied "why would I do that"? I'm embarrassed to say that it then turned into a shouting match between us and he hung up in my ear. So much for their Website philosophy of "Comprehensive Customer Service" and "Customer satisfaction is our No. 1 priority". What a load of rubbish!! I would never ever recommend this company to anyone and they obviously don't appreciate the power of social media.

Waste of money – I've had mine a few years now, after the first lot of rain they came back and did some sealing, the second time after substantial leaking I was told a plant was growing into the drain, this all checked out fine, then the third time I was actually told that all patios leak to some degree !!!! I'm just sorry I didn't take this further as now I have to pay to fix the damage caused by their incompetence .

Best quote and job – Scott and his team were extremely helpful in advising us on repairing our back patio and being able to bring our laundry up from downstairs. The workers came last Monday and finished Tuesday, they did a fantastic job. We are so thankful for all of their help and would not hesitate in recommending them.

found a way to save me nearly $200 based on my site. The installers Craig and Lachlan were professional, efficient and helpful. They paid real attention to detail and when relevant, Craig ensured that I understood what was being done and why. It was so nice that they took all the rubbish and off cuts away as well. simple colour bond overhang roof but we knew it would look cheap and after building the house only four years earlier we wanted more. Lifestyle Patios came to the rescue and designed a simple but elegant roof that has added amazing value to our property. With 50mm insulated sheeting complete with down-lights and the three sides closed in with light allowing sheeting, we now have another living area in all weather. The kitchen is cooler in summer and we now have BBQs all the time. We can't thank Lifestyle Patios enough, if we went with anyone else I think we would be looking at a cheap add on, with Lifestyle Patios they added class and value. It just looks like it was always meant to be there.

Never fail to amaze! – Just had a deck and patio put on out the back and it's fantastic. him what we wanted and he measured up - but then took it to a whole new level when he sat down with us to work out the quote. The first price was astronomical and then came some very high pressure selling as the price was miraculously reduced in stages if we signed on the line that day. The final price was still way over our budget- so I told him thanks but we need to get another quote to keep his price honest. He left us a brochure but then refused to leave a written quote with us - which I could not comprehend !!!

The second company was very professional and the rep knew his stuff, he was a bit rushed so he measured up and said he would get the quote back to us in a couple of days. He did ask a lot of questions about what we wanted and explained how their product was built - which was good - but he was also persistent on asking who we had got other quotes from. A couple of casual questions would've been OK and acceptable and we did end up telling him that his would be the second quote and we weren't impressed with the first company because of their high pressure selling technique. But he then told us to watch out for this company and that company on how they do this and how they do that. He made mention of Lifestyle Patios and their Fly Up design in particular and rubbished it. . . .I'd never heard of the fly up - so I asked him what it was - in short, he gave me a brief description while bagging it at the same time. Anyway after waiting a couple of days waiting for his quote I was intrigued by the description of the different style of raised roof so I called Lifestyle to organise a quote.

Lifestyle's rep came around a day later for his inspection and was very professional as well - he did ask me if we had had any other quotes. . .I thought here we go again, but he clarified it by then saying "the only reason I ask is, was there any particular design or options that anyone else has showed that you really liked? If there was then I am happy to quote the same design and you can compare the materials we use and also the price.. . .All good. He measured up and then sat down with us to show us a heap of fly over patio photos on his laptop. The design was pretty straight forward and from the photos we saw 2 designs that we liked with different bracket types.

He then said Lifestyle had a Fly Up design that we might want to have a look at as well.

The design was definitely more modern than the standard fly overs - plus it had a sealed screen and a box gutter option. I said I'd really like to get a quote on both.

In short the quotes with 3D drawings were emailed the next day - the fly over roof price was almost the same as the second company's quote. (both quotes were 40% cheaper than the first company's price though)

The fly up roof was about 3% dearer than the fly over design- but included screens around the 2 sides and a box gutter. . . . .

It's now all up and finished and we have had couple of really good downpours already to test it out. The finished product is brill.

We were very happy with Lifestyle - the rep's approach was more tradesman than salesman and the installers are very good tradesmen.

What an easy experience it was with Lifestyle Patios, The salesman, Dave, was laid back but very professional and so easy to talk to. No question was to much for him and my wife threw some strange questions in. Dave could see that we were struggling with the vision of the design, so he whipped out his laptop and draw it up in 3D right there in front of us, It was very impressive.

We choose Lifestyle Patios to complete our major outdoor project and through it all there were a couple hiccups here and there, but we were always made aware of everything that was happening at all times. They made the whole process completely stressless.

The builders have now finished (Yay!) our beautiful deck and flyover patio and we had our first BBQ on it on Mother's Day. It was a great success and we could not be happier with the finished project.

The Builders were great, They were very professional and east to chat to as well. They cleaned up our yard beautifully and even put the soil they dug into my new garden beds that I'm putting in the yard.

Nothing seemed to much for Lifestyle Patios, even when i thought there was an issue, they came out and checked everything and explained a few things to help me understand how it was.

WOW I'm not easily impressed, and don't really like tradesman much, BUT these guys were fantastic. The builder Dusty and his offsider, we're lovely gent's, did a great job, and tidied up after themselves.

My carport looks fantastic, matches the house, and all the neighbours are commenting on what a lovely looking carport.
