I can't believe the quality of the dress i got. I think temu and shein are way better cause i got pieces from them that i payd around 20$ but still meet my expectation. price of the LPD that had free postage and true to size (plus free postage back if it needed to be returned). If you are on a limited budget, look elsewhere.

material to what I expected, one was a bit see thru. "Thanks so much Little Party Dress". I had also mentioned to them in an email, life would be so much easier if they had a phone number that we could ring them on to ask questions etc, but no they only deal with emails. Decided I'd give them a second chance & this time I ordered 2 dresses & sized down to a size 12, I am normally a 16. They arrived whilst I was away, they were meant to arrive before I left. This time both dresses are a smidge tight around my bust,( the dress I decided to keep is the same style as one of the origional 4 I ordered first up) decided I'd keep one & send the other back as it looks ghastly on me & too tight. In the mean time I have had to go to hospital to have an operation & finally start feeling ok. Decide to email them, but my email isn't working, so finally have a light bulb moment I'll use my husbands, but alas I don't get far as soon as I put my email address & Order number in BAM too late to send back, can't ring & talk to any one about it. Lift your game Little Party Dress, your dresses are only made in China yet you charge quite a high-ish price already & then want us to pay for returns even though we have done as you stated. And make our lives that little bit easier get a damn phone number, not everyone loves sending emails. Dress are too big and tops are too small. I'm generally a size 10 in most clothes. I can order online a size 10 and very rarely the clothes don't fit. They recommend to order a size down. It is immensely frustrating for customers to receive an item of clothing that is ridiculously big and then deal with the hassle (and cost!) of returning it. It can also result in them missing out on a design they really wanted.

Another thing to mention is that size 6 often sells out straight away. Why? Well, it is really a size 10 and is the smallest size, so all the size 6, 8 and 10 girls are trying to get the one size that they don’t have nearly enough off. Take for example the Cup O’Joy dress - in all 3 styles of that print size 6 sold out within minutes, but every other size is still available 2 weeks later. Very poor planning, and has put me off wasting time waiting around for future restocks.

Inconvenient - waste of money – Delivery was quick and the quality was acceptable but the sizing was much too big. Think two sizes over what it should be, There is no way I can wear these dresses without looking like a clown. Then I see I have to pay for returning the items. Unbelievable dresses !! – I came across this site by accident and am so happy I did, in the last 2 months I have purchased 10 'Marley' dresses. I know they are all the same style but it really suits me and the fabrics are so colourful and pretty I couldn't resist buying so many. Sizing is way too generous, and they charge for return shipping (Sizing wrong is not a customer fault) – I am a size 10/12 usually and currently 35 weeks pregnant (So a little larger). that point as I was keen to get the dress for an event.

Sadly, the size 10 was also massive, to the point that I actually found that these garments were so not true to size that as a customer, I felt like I had been misled. The size 10 was more like a size 14.

I emailed them to find a solution and they offered to return the cost, minus the discount voucher and would not supply me with a return voucher.

This meant that, because I was paying return shipping twice for a product that was too big and I was not at fault, I would only get $12 worth of refund (Dress cost - return shipping). When I explained this, I got an email back suggesting I could donate or sell the dress, which I think is an absolutely inappropriate suggestion to a customer.

I’ve made my decision to cut my losses and sent it back, but I wouldn't shop with them again. It was a pretty dress, but they need to not mislead customers with the sizing and/or they need to pay for return shipping if their products are not to a standard sizing.

The only positive is that they did respond to emails but sadly not in a way that will keep my custom.

good quality clothes that wash and wear well (reading other reviews it seems that's not always the case but I've found the quality to be good). Going by my measurements to find my size is useless, but I find that is the case with all plus size shopping online! I wait until I need enough items to get free shipping and then post back what doesn't fit/suit and get a refund (shipping usually $10-15). So at least I'm not paying twice! Not all stores do refunds, many only do exchange, so that is a big plus for me. It's definitely worth giving LPD a go. You can easily get a refund so there's nothing to lose.

Better for larger, bustier girls – I ordered a few different dresses. I'm a size 10-12 normally. I downsized and ordered a size 8 which was still too large. Most of their styles are very low cut, not ideal for teaching. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who is on the flat chested side or a smaller size. If you're wanting to return your dresses, expect to pay a lot for return postage as well (I paid $16.65), as the dresses are a heavy fabric. Show details

Customer service needs to be improved and dress quality very generic, poorly constructed – Purchased a dress. While it was the right size it didn't fit, too open and revealing at the front not something you can predict or know about with an online purchase. Fabric felt strange, poor quality and cheap! They were unwilling to issue a refund due to it being a sale item and offered store credit or exchange. Never heard back from them again.

Poor quality and quality control – First time purchase and both items arrived with holes. The first was a knit jumper that had a huge slit in the front of it, I emailed them with photos and they organised a replacement for me. My second item arrived the next day, a knit cardigan, which again had a hole on the shoulder and in the armpit! For the price paid, the quality was extremely disappointing.

Weird material – The material feels terrible. They have some good prints but the sizes are off and they are way overpriced for what they are. Customer service is also average. I had part of my first order cancelled because they oversold and they weren’t interested in resolving it with me or apologising. Super disappointing overall. Show details

Return policy is terrible (paying for both shipping and returns) and yes, too much plastic packaging. But, shipping was fast which was good.

Although I love the colours, I'm disappointed with the quality and won't be purchasing again.

particular I've picked up a pom-pom cardigan and a lot of those pom-poms have fallen off from shoddy stitching, and I've only worn it the one time.

Additionally they use a lot of plastic for their packaging which I'm not a fan of.

If you need to return any items, it is at your own cost.

Overall it's a lovely shop giving a lot of empowerment and choice to women of all sizes but I'd prefer to see more ethical practices - recyclable packaging, sustainable materials and avoiding products being made in China.
