Purchased as a gift and presentation was excellent. Shipping was fast and product arrived as described. No surprises. The recipient loved them. Nice to support an independent Australian brand producing well designed eyewear.

If you get a perfect pair, they’re a great deal. But if you run into a defect, don’t expect fast or easy support.

Have a great range of products at a reasonable price. Had one of my pairs break and they were very helpful with returns and sending out a replacement pair. Definitely recommend giving them a go.

Bought sunnies from Local supply every time I wore them I got so many compliments and I also find they suits my face so much that I felt comfortable wearing them bought another pair ♥️

Poor quality – Same as other reviews. First pair broke after a year (polarised layer peeled away inside), but bought a second pair cause they looked so good. The second pair had a loose lens, had to argue a bit to get a store credit from David Jones. Too bad, was drawn to the brand for their sustainability and great styles. But having to buy new sunnies each year is far from sustainable.

polarized film on the lenses began to peel. When I approached the store where the purchase was made, I was informed that the damage was attributed to saltwater exposure, thereby exempting it from warranty coverage. Accepting this explanation, I acquired another pair, taking extra care to rinse them with fresh water after any beach exposure. However, the same issue occurred.

My attempts to contact the local supply team for replacement lenses have been futile, with no response to my inquiries. This lack of communication and resolution is highly disappointing, especially considering the nature of the issue.

I hope this review prompts attention to the matter.

Hinge arm issues, your sunnies won’t last longer than a year – I’ve had 3 pairs of sunnies from local supply. Every pair of sunnies broke just over a year. I liked the brand st the start but this issue doesn’t seem to be a priority for them. There are other brands out there that will last a lot longer.

I’ve been using Local Supply since 2014 and never looked back! Their eyewear is top-notch—great quality, stylish, and built to last. Affordable, quality & keeps everyone happy in the sun – Best backup sunnies I’ve ever used. Local supply are available in store at stores local to us & online, we’ve only ever had to replace due to losing a pair or someone accidentally breaking them. We have so many pairs it’s ridiculous! I mostly wear prescription sunnies now, but these are worn by our whole family & are definitely still my backup of choice
