I purchased the Louis Vuitton Confidential Bracelet online in May 31 2023 (gifted at Christmas). Gold Coast boutique (Pacific Fair), staff were rude from the start. They denied the bracelet had any defects, despite the Bondi Junction boutique confirming in writing on the 27 March 2025 that this exact 2023 model had known faults and replacing my daughter’s identical bracelet free of charge. Instead of helping, the Gold Coast staff told me to “buy another one” and said it would take 1–2 weeks to “decide” what to do with my bracelet.
This inconsistency between boutiques and the dismissive service at Gold Coast have completely undermined my trust in the brand. Louis Vuitton markets itself as luxury, but the product quality and customer service I experienced say otherwise.
Pros: Packaging and initial appearance. Cons: Poor durability, known fault not disclosed at purchase, rude and inconsistent customer service.
Would I recommend Louis Vuitton jewellery? Absolutely not.
Edit, after seeing the attached review, I wonder if this is what Louis Vuitton did with my online order.

I was urged by AUS head office ([Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed]) to try the Perth Murray Street Store after weeks of calling headquarters, which I did not want to do, as they did exactly what I was expecting - NOTHING - FOB OFF
[Name Removed] (Manager) asked me to come in at 10 today but unbelievably was sick so I dealt with [Name Removed] (Manager)
As expected, NO customer service - I said to headquarters prior to going in store that I was wasting my time and I was 100% correct. They argued stating store managers have discretion and ability to provide resolution
I called headquarters immediately after leaving the store and advised [Name Removed] of my uneventful visit and I requested [Name Removed] request the country manager to call me - as I will never step foot in Murray Street Perth again !!
I have 12 LV bags & accessories & only had issues with 2 canvas pieces, yet they are hell bent on speaking down to you and sending you on your way
Let me tell you there was not one customer shopping in there and I think it’s clear and a direct result of their lack of customer service - appalling. There were many staff and contractors, stylists and security in store but surprisingly, not one customer
Customer service in LV Perth is simply non existent - I would encourage anyone who has had a bad LV perth experience to Log it on here to warn others
They want thousands for non leather items but you will never get after sales service, I can guarantee you of that

Over time — and despite only a handful of uses — the bag discoloured dramatically, turning a yellowish tone that looked nothing like it did originally. The change was so drastic, I genuinely began to wonder if the bag was even real. That’s how badly it has discolored.
I took it to Louis Vuitton on George Street Sydney to raise my concerns, fully expecting it might be a fake. It was authenticated in-store and then sent to Singapore for further assessment. After weeks and weeks of waiting, I was told that the discolouration was “normal” because of the particular material used: patent leather.
I understand that the bag is 12 years old, but to me, this is a clear design fault. The fact that the leather used results in such dramatic and unattractive discolouration — even when the item is used sparingly and stored carefully — is completely unacceptable for a luxury product. Especially one at this price point.
I was also told there was nothing they could do since I couldn’t provide a receipt. I didn’t have the original proof of purchase as it was a gift from friends, some of whom I’ve sadly lost touch with, or who have since passed away.
I found this response incredibly dismissive. The bag has clearly not worn as a high-end designer item should — particularly when compared to the leather coat I bought at the same time, which has maintained its color perfectly. The contrast is shocking. Louis Vuitton has refused to take any responsibility for how poorly the material has aged.
Also, while calmly making my case in store, the manager told me there was nothing she could do and suggested I call customer service during the week, as it was a weekend. I followed her advice and rang the number — only to be told by the phone support team that they were surprised I’d even been referred to them, and that the issue would have to be taken up with the store. So I was sent in a complete circle, with no support or resolution from either side.
I expected far better from a brand that prides itself on “timeless quality.” Instead, I’m left with a discoloured bag, no accountability, and a very disappointing experience. Very poor service, and not what I expected from such a prestigious brand.

High with excitement – Excitement was running high with my first LV purchase. Mother Day was D day. My children and I set off to Chadstone to LV. The assistant was lovely. Chose a waller. Yay. Whilst shop assistant got my walket i had a wonder around the store. The security guard made me feel like a thief watching me ever so closely. Felt very uncomfortable. I treat myself to one purchase every few years and avoid buying fast fashion in favour of high-end luxurious items. Louis Vuitton is my go-to brand for quality and value. Strandbags. Called a week ago and was told Brisbane Louis Vuitton would call me back next day. Heard nothing so took the trip into the city to be greeted by a young girl who after 10 mins of me sitting there told me my bag needed an extra part and that is why it was taking so long. I said why did noone call me to tell me of the delay and her only response was I understand your frustration (which she said 3 times) and then continued to tell me she would definatley get someone to call me ASAP as to why I was never contacted. Well, suprise suprise a week on and I have heard nothing and still have no idea where my bag is. To add additional salt to the wound I told her I shouldn't have to pay for the repair since I have been inconvenienced and she said if I wanted the bag back I would need to pay for the repair. I have 2 Louis Vuitton bags and I will never support this company ever again. They love you when you buy it but don't want to know you if something goes wrong with their product.

interests, LV are absolutely disinterested. Firstly they will deny its a product fault and secondly they try to suggest you have a fake . I immediately called customer service to explain the situation. She called me back a few hours later explaining the warehouse had made a mistake and they'd send me the other wallet the next day. I was glad to hear that this would be resolved quickly but I definitely felt they could have been more apologetic about it.
The next day the other wallet arrived and it was the correct wallet. Unlike the first wallet though which came with the LV x YK packaging, it was packaged with the standard blue LV ribbon and brown tag which ruined the experience for me since I was ordering from the specific collection.
I am giving 2 stars because I love the product, but thanks to this experience I'd never order online from LV again. They sell luxury goods and should have the customer service and online shopping experience to match but it just fell short in the whole process, even the little things like getting the packaging right are part of the experience.
Louis Vuitton poor form – Staff are trained to uphold policy before the guest experience.
