Love Me Baby Wrap Me Up

Wakes my baby up – I know everyone loves this product and that's why I bought it. But I've noticed and have kept testing (just to make sure as I bought 4 swaddles) that whenever my baby sleeps in these at night she wakes up every 1-3 hours (she's only slept 3 hours straight in these swaddles twice) usually just 1-2 hours straight, while in any other swaddle (Aden… Read more
and anais muslin cloths, SwaddleMe swaddle, the square hospital blankets) she sleeps at least double the stretch. 5-7 hours straight on average. She's now 11 weeks old and I keep testing these swaddles every couple of nights and it's always the nights she wears these that she sleeps poorly, so Ill be selling mine. While she doesn't complain when I put them on and likes to suck her fist I think when she moves the material touches her face and wakes her. She even sleeps better if both arms escape a wrap, I bought these coz I know she loves napping with her arms up when she's in her pram or swing and the reviews were awesome. I don't doubt these are a great product, just not for every baby! I know someone else who has exactly the same problem and uses the ErgoPouch and loves it so I'm going to try that instead. I'd stick to wrapping but my baby is too good at escaping and as much as I love how my baby sleeps well in the SwaddleMe it's just not good for her hips and the TOG rating is too high for where we live being that it's summer here. I wanted so badly to love the Love to Dream swaddles, maybe I'll keep them to try on my next kids. I definitely don't believe in them though!

Lifesaver for crawling and standing babies – I love this product so much I want to marry it. I stopped swaddling my baby at about 2-3 months because it didn't seem to make a difference to his sleep quality. But at 6-7 months, we went through a period of real sleep deprivation. He was crawling and standing in the night, preventing himself from getting back to sleep. I also found it… Read more
difficult to breastfeed as he just wanted to get up and move. Using the swaddle made feeding a hundred times easier and lengthened his sleep times considerably. I just don't know how I did without it.
This particular product is comfortable for him, allows his arms some movement, and zips up so it's easy to put on and it stays put. The cloth is high quality and you have a choice of lightweight or ordinary fabric.
You don't have to worry about whether baby is warm enough, because he can't kick it off like he can a blanket. The double zip is a great feature for checking/changing nappies without taking him out. Worth a try if you are having sleep problems coinciding with a period of greater mobility. Double zip, lightweight, flexible but snug He managed to put his arm through one of the lightweight ones, due probably to long nails and constant use, wouldn't be a problem if I could sew.
Baby and I loved it – Great to use if baby keeps breaking out of traditional wraps. My little one would carry in every time I wrapped her but it was quicker and easier for my to use this product. I purchased the organic and a lite in a small and borrow another from a friend. I habe now purcgased the 50/50 and a blue one in a medium. The grey stripe versions seem to… Read more
be slightly smaller than the other colours Easy to wash and dry. Keeps baby snug and secure all night. Plus it was a great sleep queue. She loved having her hands by her face so she could suck on her hands Sucking the hands through the swaddle left yellow stains in the white one. I was also worried her hands would be cold at night as the swaddle was wet where she sucked. Also made her hands stinky so I had to was it frequently. Since they are quite expensive I was washing often as I only owned 3. Also mother inlaw said it looked like a straight jacket. Thought the thoughts of the clueless shouldn't be used against this product.
Sleep saver! – Had this from day one with our newborn in the Lite version as we live in a hot climate and she was born in summer. Perfect fabric weight as she never seems too hot or cold in it (and if it does get cooler, with aircon or something we can throw a blanket over the top). She sleeps so well in this swaddle wrap! It is so much easier to use than… Read more
any other swaddle and she can't get her hands free, but she can still suck on them for comfort.
We are about to move onto the next size up as she is almost 5kgs and is almost stretching it to its max, so if you have a bigger newborn I would almost go straight for the medium size as they are quite expensive (I got mine - the Lite version - for $30 on sale!).
Definitely recommend though as she sleeps longer in a swaddle than unswaddled and immediately settles when she is snug. Double-zip for easy nappy changes, lite material is perfect weight for Aussie summer, settles baby well with good arms positioning Quite expensive, only white colour for Lite version which dirties easily

Best sleeping suit on the market – I love this product, I have a baby that hates being swaddled with her arms down, fought for ages to get them out instead of going to sleep then she would smack her face and cry!! I tried this and on the first night she slept 6 hours straight and she was only 2 wks old!!! Easy, comforting and encouraged self settling Price $40 and only last 3 months
Love these, they're fabulous! – Absolutely fantastic, high quality product. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. My son loved his, it really helped him to settle to sleep. Would use these for any future babies as well. Can't believe I didn't have one for my daughter, it would have helped her immensely! Great product! Everything!
Love these! – My little boy still occasionally uses his and he's 20months.. they were a lifesaver when he was a newborn.. it was the only way i could get him to sleep.. great quality and they stand by their products! customer service is amazing! and they have just released sleep sacks which are so cute!
Negative reviews
Great - just needs one thing changed! – Such a great swaddle my son loves it as he loves to have his hands up. However I wish the neckline was softer and more stretchy - it's hard and rigid, so after a night of wriggling my son has painful red friction marks on his delicate neck from it rubbing whenever he moves his arms. Such a shame but it cuts so deep. So wish this could be changed!… Read more
The shape of being able to have his arms up and nice soft material where he doesn't overheat. The rigid neckline which causes friction burn marks on the babies neck.
disappointed with the product! – after reading few positive reviews about this product here, we decided to get one but very disappointed with the quality and functionality of this product! my baby looks so cute in it expensive for a very poor quality product and workmanship, doesn't stop baby startle reflex which is the main reason of wrapping baby!
Didn't work on our houdini – Thought that this was the one thing that would help my husband keep our child wrapped. He isn't abled to keep her wrapped when he uses a normal wrap. This worked to keep her wrapped but has too much movement in the little arms that stay up that our child would still wake herself by moving her arms across her face. not that expensive, helps… Read more
husbands wrap your child when they dont know how to use a normal wrap or can't do it tight enough The hands stay up near the face enabling your child to move their hands near their face. May wake themselves.

The perfect daytime wrap – I use this wrap mainly during the day because it allows my daughter to sleep with her arms up and to feel freer than with other wraps. I find it very practical as it fits in a car seat and, in winter, it keeps her hands warm. At night though, I prefer the ErgoPouch sleeping bags as they keep her tighter. They are also prettier with the range… Read more
of beautiful patterns and colours, and more adapted to the seasons with the specific fabrics.
The Love Me Baby Wrap Me Up is affordable and useful, but limited with the type of fabric and colours.
Best wrap for wriggling baby! Beautiful soft material – Brilliant wrap! I have a baby who hates having his arms wrapped down. I was using the Doublewrap (wrapping arms upwards against chest) up until 8-10 weeks. This was fine while he was little however he became too strong and would wriggle his arms out during the night, waking himself up. He is a VERY active baby and the only way he will relax and… Read more
settle is to be swaddled. I decided to try the 'wrap me up' as a transition to no swaddling and from the moment I put him in it he was a happy and settled baby. He goes to sleep straight away, self settles easily and actually SMILES when I zip him in!! LOVE the two way zip, makes nappy changes easy. I live in a hot climate so only ever have him wear a light bodysuit or nappy underneath (autumn/spring) and I would have to try the 'lite' version for our summers. Overall highly recommended :) Snug fit, very soft comfy material, seems to suit a more natural sleeping position. Expensive
Saves times and arguments!! – I had these recommended to me at Mothers Group and they have been fantastic. Our little one was always escaping muslin wraps and my husband and I could never agree on the best way to wrap. This solved all of these issues - always wrapped the same way and securely every time. She settles in them so quickly and knows its sleep time when we put it… Read more
on. Her night sleeps are more settled because she can't get her arms out and she can suck her hands through the wrap when she wants to. You can also unzip from the bottom for nappy changes at night and they can still be worn when buckled into a car seat/capsule. Easy to put on and very comfy bit expensive but you get lots of wear out of them

Great for wiggley bubs – Great with have bub who moves around. Arms can move to a natural position. Bub can still reach hands if settles by sucking as mine did. Able to put sleeping bub in wrap without the twisting that "wrapping" causes. Arms have some movement but startle reflex is minimised For winter still need to have under blankets to keep warm More settled as can't escape Negative is price. Not cheap if only getting a couple of months out of item
Good quality and keeps baby snug – I have the grey, pink and white one. The grey and pink are for cooler months and very good stretchy quality fabric. The white one is thinner fabric. While this brand is more expensive than say the swaddle pod it will last a bit longer as the sizing is a touch nore generous. Decent quality Bit on the expensive side
Organic is even better! – I had two small Organic Wrap Me Ups for my baby and they were brilliant. The fabric was super soft, never faded or pilled, despite being washed A LOT! They also have excellent resale value. I'll admit my baby is a terrible sleeper, so I'm not going to say these made her sleep through the night, but she sleeps MUCH better while in these wraps.… Read more
They are cooler than swaddling with muslin, and still let her wiggle a little, while containing her startle reflex. For those who have babies who fight being swaddled, these are a great alternative, and even if baby doesn't like them at first, keep trying and they'll come to associate them with bedtime, and enjoy the security they provide.
I have since tried two of the new Love to Swaddle Up and while brilliant, I still found the organic ones best - softer and harder wearing - I'm finding the regular ones are starting to fade a little. So if you have the extra $ to buy the organic ones, I'd recommend them. Durable, soft, snug. Helps baby sleep for longer. Fairly costly but worth it given they are worn every day.
Amazing – My baby slept like a dream in this wrap and after so many washes it holds it's shape well I gave it to a friend who was having troubles and she loved it too I was very sad to see my bub out grow his he loved it just as much as I did Show reply
Must have for baby – I bought one of these before my baby was born based on the reviews I read on this site.. Within a week of him being born, I rushed out and bought 2 more.. He was a Houdini with any other wrap & would not settle but as soon as I put him in his wrap me up, he would settle & sleep. This trend has continued & as such at 4 months old we have a… Read more
fantastic sleep routine.
He has moved from the small size to the medium & we are just about to move to the large size. As we live in a hot climate, I have purchased the lite as I found the standard a little hot for sleeping at night, but the lite is perfect.
This product also husband proof, he really struggled with swaddling but loved being able to zip our baby into his suit with ease, nicknaming our son 'Caterpillar'. It was also perfect for nappy changes with the double zip.
I cannot recommend this product enough & tell everyone I speak to that is expecting or complaining about their baby not sleeping, they need to buy a couple of these suits. Whilst they are expensive, I cannot complain as it is a product which actually does as it claims, soothes, settles & helps baby sleep.. So easy to use even hubby can swaddle baby with ease. Baby can self soothe with his hands in a natural position. Expensive & the fabric pills slightly with daily washing.
Excellent – My 8 week old figured out how to kick out of his wraps and even the Miracle Blanket couldn't contain him. I saw these advertised and decided to get them a try - fantastic. I also like the fact that as he has some arm movement it will help him get used to a bit more freedom for when he's in a sleeping bag and will have his arms free. Love it!!!! … Read more

Easy to clean
Bubs can still settle himself with his hands if he wants (and mine does)
Husband proof ....

Also comes in a 'lite' version which will be great for summer. Not cheap, but I think they are reasonably priced.
My baby sucks on his hands which means I need to wash it everyday, so had to
buy a couple which gets a bit expensive. Probably need 3.
A must have – A great swaddle for babies...to reduce startling reflexes. It makes them feel safe and comfortable. It helped my baby sleep much better than without. I highly recommend these. The 50, 50's are great too to "wean" them off needing to have their hands wrapped. Highly effective Grow out of it fast and you need at least 2 as they are that good you don't want to be without when washing.
Best thing I ever bought until she rolled! – As soon as I bought this product I didn't look back. No more worrying would bubs get out of a wrap because it was impossible with this wrap, plus bubs loved sleeping with her arms up. If her dummy fell out she would suck on the hands for comfort and resettle. Used from 1 month to 4 months then had to stop because she started rolling. My baby… Read more
liked being wrapped with her hands up so this was simple When bubs starts rolling must stop using it or transfer to 50/50 or sleeping bag as restricts the baby's arm movements and therefore pose a suffocation risk
Fantastic – This product was fantastic for keeping our little one swaddled. No matter how tight we wrapped her in other wraps she was always escaping. She definitely slept better securely wrapped. Stayed on. Nice and snug. Very cute. Bub seemed to like having her arms up so she could chew on them. Quality was good (the organic version). A bit pricey. Has to come off when bub starts rolling.

Baby not sleeping - try this! – I stumbled across these wraps in a babyshop and thought they looked like a great idea. I now own about 10 in various sizes and cannot stress to you how good these were - not only for durability, comfort and quality - but for how much my baby enjoyed the 'natural' sleeping position this enables. The quality of the material is what I really… Read more
appreciated. I probably washed these every use (I had a spewer!)and they never faded, warped or pilled.
Once your baby starts to roll though- you really can't use them anymore - but for at least 4 -6 months I used this wrap daily. It so easy with the zip front too - no messing with push button closures. There is even a nappy hole at the back so you can 'check' for any nasties!
I also liked these are they are not easy to get out of than with a normal muslin wrap (I had a houdini child who would get at least one extremity out of the wrap!) and would then wake up as they couldn't get back into their little 'cocoon' position. It really helped my bub settle as they are comforted by the feeling of being 'snug'. Durable, soft, Easy to do up
This is a must have for all Mums with babie who don't sleep well – I have recently had my 3rd baby and decided to try the "Wrap Me Up Original" and I have become hooked. My Son loves to be wrapped but most wraps are too small and he spends half the night tossing & turning trying to get his arms loose. The Wrap me Up keeps his hands up near his face and he doesn't scratch or hit himself in the face. He is now… Read more
sleeping 10hrs+ and I owe it all to the Wrap me Up Original!!! Fantastic for babies, a much better way to wrap baby! Expensive
Excellent – Loved it. For us, this product represents the difference between a night with almost no sleep and a night with a couple of good three or four hour stretches. My 1 week old was fighting the swaddling with all her might and getting her arms out and then getting upset every time you tried to re-wrap her, but without it she was rolling about and… Read more
hitting herself in the face, waking herself constantly in the night - she wanted her arms up - the 'wrap me up' is the only swaddle I could find anywhere that allows her to her arms up where she wants them but at the same time not have fingers in her face or able to grab the side of the bassinet or the crib - also seems to be the only one that comes in a 3-6kg size which we needed for our little one, who was full term but only 5lbs12oz. As soon as we put her to bed in this (just at night),she was able to settle quite easily - we are so happy with it. Well, it would be nice if it was a little cheaper, as we probably need 3 of them (babies being prone to wetting and regurgitation, as they are) and she will keep getting bigger and we will need more, but if we get to have some sleep, its probably money well spent..
Good – I like this wrap however it is not my favorite for the newborn age. My 4 week old likes it but does not sleep as long as in his halo sleep wrap, I think this is because it does not hold him securely enough. I think this is ideal for an older baby that does not need to be held quite as tight or possibly for weaning of swaddling. -So cute baby looks… Read more
funny/adorable wrapped in these.
-Baby can be swaddled while keeping arms up, this doesn't cause that initial crying you get with the other wraps because you have to put babys arms down.
-No more struggling, baby will be happy to just stay in this wrap.
-Baby wont get out of this one. -Material is a bit thin and stretchy meaning baby isn't held quite so tight and snug, this means startle reflex is not totally under control.
-Expensive compared to just using a blanket.
Good – Easiest swaddle to use ever! Love it. Recommend it to friends (except the 'lite' version'. Baby settles well in it and its a great idea. Baby us comfortable sleeping with arms up. Very use to use. Great for travelling in car with two-way zipper. Baby sleep well in it. 'Lite' version is too stretchy and baby gets lost in it, it doesn't restrain reflexes. Expensive as you need more than one.
Good – We really like them, she looks so cute we call her a little seal. I wish they were a bit cheaper or maybe available in a bulk pack of three discounted. My baby can't get out of this! Loves having her arms up. The Lite option has been great for hot Summer days. Love the travel slot as well. The hands get very grubby, we've survived on just 2 of… Read more
these wraps but have done some quick washing/drying. 3 wraps would be ideal but they are pretty pricey. If my baby wasn't constantly sucking on her hand (which is the whole point haha) then they would stay cleaner longer.
Excellent – I bought these on recommendation from a friend and i would happily also recommend them. They are especially great in warm climates (like QLD), but even then baby can still sweat. It is great that he cant get his hands free like he does with all the other wraps. Also they do look very cute in these. Easy to use, so the baby is always "wrapped"… Read more

Not too expensive (compared to other brands)
Baby cant get out of it They get grubby and smelly easily as baby will suck on his hands through the fabric

Best sleeping aid for my baby! – The best wrap because baby can have arms up and can still bring down if they want to. My baby sleeps so well now as she loves to sleep with her hands up. can put a seatbelt on without waking them. The Twin zipper is good to change a nappy without unwrapping baby as well. The cover over the zipper stops the zipper so it wont scratch the baby is a great idea.
I bought a wrap me up lite in the small 3-6kgs. Loved it so I bought another. I now have three as every time my baby has a sleep I put this wrap on and I needed one on baby one in the wash and a spare. Lite wrap is great for summer, Baby stays wrapped, Arms are up so baby sleeps better. Expensive, Can't put in the dryer so need 2 - 3 of them
Good to start with but not as baby gets older – We have loved this product since our baby was a newborn and have brought many suits. We have purchased three newborn suits and three medium suits and have now moved on to the new 50/50 suits, which works out to about $400 worth of product. But at the time it was worth it baby always slept well but now she is 5 months old we are having problems as… Read more
it is winter and we need to get her in a warmer tog rated sleeping bag but she is not handling transition at all. Kept baby from scratching her face while sleeping. Helped baby to sleep better and to settle herself. As baby could get out of any wrap this kept her cosy all night. Expensive as you need as least three. Products are often not available when needed, had to search everywhere for medium suits a while ago. But the biggest problem we are having now is trying to get our baby into a warmer sleeping bag, we have purchased the new 50/50 suit which has detachable arms and managed to get one arm off but baby screamed and screamed when we removed second arm. At $50.00 the also are more expensive.
Best baby product Ive purchased – Fantastic. So easy If I have to go out I can move baby from car, cot pram without waking or unwrapping. Baby sleeps all through th night. Purchased the ergo cocoon but my baby dosent like it and you cant move from cot, pram ,car as easy. It may seam that $40 is abit steap but was deffinately worth it and allows you to get out and about. nothing I went and purchased the next size and a couple more
Great product – My son was wriggling out of his wraps and just wouldnt settle. Bought one of these and he began to self settle and sleep longer within a couple of days. He will not take a dummy- but using this he can suck on his hands. Love Me- I Love You!! – My baby girl came out sucking her hands... she just loved to suck anything she could really. at my baby shower and thought I would give it a go one night. It was the Wrap Me Up. She loved it and slept 7.5hours straight and has slept through every night since. I went out a couple of days later and bought another one and we use them for every sleep. Thank you so much... best invention. Bub can still get hands to her face to comfort herself but tight enough that the startle reflex doesn't wake bub up. Soft materials and the zip has a protective sleeve over it so doesn't rub on babies face. They are a little on the expensive side (usually $39.95) especially considering they are only needed while baby is being swaddled for the first few months BUT it is worth it if your bub loves it as much as mine.
Every Baby should have one!! – Great product - at about 5 weeks my bub started getting really mad about being wrapped and having his hands down by his side, he'd get so angry that he'd work himself up and could't put himself to sleep - so I borrowed a "wrap me up" from a friend to try. I went out 3 days later and bought my own! He settles himself so much easier now because he… Read more
has access to his hands and doesnt work himself up getting so angry. They do get dirty quickly as bub tends to suck on the fabric so I find it best to have two to rotate.
They get dirty easily as bub sucks on the fabric (but that is also why they are so good). Just be prepared to wash alot or have 2 to rotate them.
