rod that pulls the drapes across, so they remove it. To matters worse, I had different service men out every time they came to investigate.

Those tears have appeared again, and I called them only to be told that they have closed their NSW operations, so beware to all those of you in NSW that if you had blinds or drapes installed by Lovelight, and you are looking to Lovelight for service, they will not try and help you in anyway. As the product is covered by 5 year warranty, I got in touch with Luxaflex who advised me that I have to go back to Lovelight for them to initiate a warranty claim, but this is the response I got.

"Unfortunately, we have closed our office in NSW, this occurred in June last year to due impacts on our business through Lockdowns. Currently, we have no plans to open to the office in NSW again. We have no staff or installers operating there to perform service calls. You’re going to need to find another company to attend and investigate the issue for you."

It doesn't make sense that they closed NSW operation due to lock downs, but Melbourne remains open, considering Melbourne was the longest lock down city!

All they had to do was initiate the claim, then I would have to organise an installer myself, however that was too much to ask. They have washed their hands of any responsibility.

us to making great choices. We had swatch samples sent over for us to select from in record time, even though we were in stage 4 lockdown. Once we were ready to proceed, we simply had to let her know. Having seen the quality of our existing blackout blinds, we we comfortable to engage only through email correspondence and not needing to actually step into a store.

We placed our order just before Christmas and was expecting a lengthy wait, but to our delight measurements taken a few days later and installation was arranged within 3 weeks. Bryn was super great with the install and we could not be any happier with the final result.

Everything was executed to the highest standards, met within quick turnaround times and the team were extremely professional yet courteous throughout the entire process.

and spoke with Alannah Pollett who was only too happy to assist us. She found our lot details on file and provided us with a quote & ETA extremely easily & efficiently. After comparing costs of blinds vs curtains we went with the blinds and are even happier with the result. No washing of curtains or worrying about curtain rods needing to be installed! Our new screen blinds are even better than curtains in that they let filtered light in, they provide us with both privacy and a professional looking window treatment too. Perfect motorised blinds! – We had purchased and installed our blinds from Lovelight a couple of years ago and had them install motors into them 2 weeks ago - they are fantastic! Seemed to be out of their depth with a large project away from their base – Lovelight were selected by the developer of our new apartment in Newcastle to provide blinds and curtains prior to settlement, this was their main selling point and the reason we chose them. and broader organisation was very poor. Many reviews seem positive and this did encourage us when deciding, most are in Victoria where they are based. It seems they were either out of their depth with a large development or hadn't adequately planned how they would manage in a location away from their base. Blinds seem fine so far and the installers were quite good, cleaned up etc. They may be good for a one off purchase for an individual residence, if you are part of a larger project it would be best to look elsewhere from our experience.

Awful – Ordered blinds in JUNE and have been chasing love light since then- Fast track to OCTOBER and only lounge room blinds installed and room blinds paid for completely missed - After waiting, the WRONG blinds were ordered... I can forgive "human error" as I was told but there was NO apology and AWFUL/ RUDE customer service from [name removed]. Horrified.

Bad after service and poor workmanship – Recently I brought a new apartment in the city. installer came and was reluctant to extend the chain of the blinds gave plenty of excuses (blaming the developer and etc...). After much argument and explanation from myself, the Lovelight installer finally agree to extend the blind. but the installer left after extended 1 blind chain.

I called Lovelight again and requested Lovelight to come back to extend the rest of the blind chains. Lovelight wanted to charged a re-service fee and blamed me for the error. I was not happy. Later on the Director of the Lovelight called and agreed to sent their installer back with no charge.

Another Lovelight installer came and looked at the Lovelight blinds and showed unhappiness. After explaining the reason to the Lovelight Installer he finally extended 2 of the blinds chains.

Result of the length of the 3 extended blind chains: 170cm, 160cm and 130cm; The extended blinds chain was extended to different length, the Lovelight Installer gave excuse for the differences in blind chain length.

No consideration for the overall appearance of the blinds. Very unprofessional and poor workmanship.

Lovelight were so easy to deal with when I needed to replace three broken blind chains. Lauren replied to my email promptly, communicated well, and they sent me the replacement chains free of charge! Very impressed with their customer service. Thankyou. Show details

8 months after installation & a visit wasn't a problem for a little fix ! – Have had my curtains for 8 months but realised that I wasn't happy with the way they sat. Sent an email and a couple of days later I had the lovely Jake come out. He fiddled and farted to make them right and when he left they were perfect. I was very happy! Cheers Claire

Lovelight shutters and blinds are terrific – The shutters look fantastic. They keep the rooms cool in summer and the heat doesn't escape in winter. The installation was done so well. Classic example of recognising customer service – Well I can honestly say that after an initial issue with delayed installation etc, Jason and his team have restored faith in customer service and turned my whole thinking around.
