Classic example of recognising customer service
Well I can honestly say that after an initial issue with delayed installation etc, Jason and his team have restored faith in customer service and turned my whole thinking around. Seems the issue/s lay with 8Homes my builder and not Lovelight. Seems these build companies like to place the blame of faults, build mismanagement and staff ineptness unfairly on their suppliers. I seriously could not fault the after sales service and rectification of my builders inabilities from Lovelight. I love my blinds and drapes and really wish they weren’t trade only as I would definitely use them again in our new build due for completion at the end of the year. Thanks again Jason and your team
Superb curtains, blinds and shutters
Lovelight were excellent from start to finish. They ( especially Bec ) were very patient and understanding in helping us end up with the perfect mix of sheer and blockout curtains, roman blinds (some motorised), as well as shutters, each room having different requirements. Ryan was very helpful with ideas including colours and fabrics, and the installation by Adam was great. We would not change anything, and the after sales service has also been efficient. Thanks very much Lovelight. An all round superb job!!!

After service turn around
Lovelight was recommended to us by our developer of our apartment block. Bad choice! I have had to replace my bedroom blinds (same issue with blinds in the living room) three times now because of tears along the blind which they couldn't work out why it was happening. First they thought it was a fault with the fabric, then they thought it was the rod that pulls the drapes across, so they remove it. To matters worse, I had different service men out every time they came to investigate.

Read morebe told that they have closed their NSW operations, so beware to all those of you in NSW that if you had blinds or drapes installed by Lovelight, and you are looking to Lovelight for service, they will not try and help you in anyway. As the product is covered by 5 year warranty, I got in touch with Luxaflex who advised me that I have to go back to Lovelight for them to initiate a warranty claim, but this is the response I got. "Unfortunately, we have closed our office in NSW, this occurred in June last year to due impacts on our business through Lockdowns. Currently, we have no plans to open to the office in NSW again. We have no staff or installers operating there to perform service calls. You’re going to need to find another company to attend and investigate the issue for you." It doesn't make sense that they closed NSW operation due to lock downs, but Melbourne remains open, considering Melbourne was the longest lock down city! All they had to do was initiate the claim, then I would have to organise an installer myself, however that was too much to ask. They have washed their hands of any responsibility.I am very happy to say that Adam and Bob returned yesterday and the issues have now being resolved. Great service and quality product
Lovelight were easily to deal with, installation of curtains was straightforward and both the admin staff and installers were very friendly and punctual. Products are of a high quality standard, although perhaps to be expected given the price. Very happy with the service!
Amazing service, easy to purchase online and arrange install
Our blinds were selected by the builder of our property and we already had similar products throughout the house. Arranging options for remaining windows was so easy, Alannah had all our details including some measurements of our windows from the original install. We were very happy with the service we received and the product and installation was also amazing! Definitely recommend!
Fabulous
I had the option to purchase online but chose to visit the showroom instead. I thought it would be a difficult decision. However my options were laid out and my choice made. In and out in under 15 minutes! The window furnishings in the apartment look fabulous. Thank you for making it so easy

Seemed to be out of their depth with a large project away from their base.
Lovelight were selected by the developer of our new apartment in Newcastle to provide blinds and curtains prior to settlement, this was their main selling point and the reason we chose them. The blinds were not installed until 3 weeks after settlement and that only happened with us continually chasing them as communication from the sales person and broader organisation was very poor. Blinds seem fine so far and the installers were quite good, cleaned up etc. They may be good for a one off purchase for an individual residence, if you are part of a larger project it would be best to look elsewhere from our experience.Beautiful curtains and a wonderful installation
We had been waiting on our curtains since Dec and they were installed Sat morning. They are just perfect and we are thrilled. The staff were able to measure from our plans and they were spot on. The installer was so professional, he worked quietly and efficiently and took the rubbish with him, fantastic! Thank you Lovelight.

Questions & Answers
We have roller blinds (with blockout blind also) and a lot of light comes through the big gap at the top and sides on every window apart from the ones that have a single blind and are on sliding doors. Is this the case for everyone else or are we the unlucky ones?

Read moreissues the company had with the Sydney operations. As of now, I have had two very knowledgeable installers from Melbourne looking at and working out a solution. Will update further when the issues are resolved. I would like to thank both the Director (Jason) and the installers (Bob and Adam). It is a mark of a good leader to be so humble and honest, and I am looking forward to changing my review soon.
