Terrible do not trust Lovisa
I got my seconds pierced at the Bankstown branch and they got infected, puss oozed out and looked like picture after only a night of sleeping. They keep closing up too. Do not trust.
What's more is that I bought their titanium earrings and that just made it worse! The quality is terrible, the colour faded within months and the part that was on my ear was turning green.
I know that it is an issue with the company and their method and not my personal sensitivity because my first ear piercing was done at Piercing Pavillion, and I'm wearing white gold earrings there and its completely fine.

They used a “device” (its a gun) to pierce on my cartilage. Even after using the cleaning solution, minor injuries had to take the piercing out after it got inflamed and very painful. A week later, the infection had gotten worse and I spent two nights in hospital for treatment, thankfully I got away lightly with shattered but not deformed cartilage. I am grateful that they gave me my money back for the piercing however after multiple emails, they still avoid making any changes on the methods safety.
So save yourself a hospital visit, do not get a cartilage piercing here.
very bad piercings
i came to get my thirds pierced at lovisa, and ever since my ear has been extremely irritated and swollen. now 2 weeks later and my earring is completely stuck inside my ear, swollen and red along with excruciating pain. i now have to head to the hospital to get this piercing removed.
my friend who also got her thirds pierced with me at the same time has had a similar experience, with her new piercing being so swollen and red and the earring being stuck in her ear.
there is an earring in that photo in the third piercing hole.

I purchased a bracelet online. It arrived in the mail and when I opened the bag, one piece fell to the floor then I removed the tape and bent the cardboard to remove my bracelet the clasp fell off before I could even get to wear it.

Poor piercing experience
I had my second lobe piercings done at Lovisa - a bit of an impulsive decision - but have to say I AM NOT HAPPY with my experience. They used a piercing gun which I thought would be fine as it was for a lobe not cartilage piercing. The first one was fine but the second time the earring went through my ear and into the backing but the backing stayed stuck in the gun. So there I was sitting in the shop with the entire piercing gun stuck to my ear and the lady had to stand there yanking at it to try get it out for about 10 minutes! The pain was ex...cruciating and made my ear swell up a lot more and it has been so sore since. I was informed by the employee that this has happened a few times recently and they haven’t done anything to fix it. The staff member though clearly felt bad about it and it wasn’t her fault it’s the faulty design of their piercing gun! Don’t get piercings at Lovisa. NOT HAPPY.
Ear Piercing at Robina Lovisa
I took my 13 year old daughter and her friend to get their 2nd ear lobe piercing last Friday. After googling reviews about Lovisa I have to admit I was a little worried that the service might not be up to standard but my daughter was set on getting her ears done before the center closed down for the day so I had to cross my fingers and hope for the best. A staff member named Kelsea did both of the girls piercing and we couldn't be happier. She was clearly experienced and took the utmost care with the placement of each piercing. She was thoroug...h in explaining to the girls about after care and made sure that they were happy with their experience. Both of the girls piercings look great and we have had no problems with them. Thanks Kelsea for both reassuring me when I was questioning you and mostly for doing a great job!

Horrendous! Daughter in emergency with embedded earring!
I am writing this as a warning to other parents as I have never been so appalled about a product or felt it more necessary to write a review than I do right now so other parents and children don’t experience what we are going through!
Our 7 year old daughter is currently in the emergency department due to the back clasp of a snowflake earring, sold to us by a staff member who was well aware of our daughters age, having only had her ears pierced for a few months and now has both the back clasp of these earrings embedded/overgrown in her ear lobes after only 2 weeks of wear! Apparently these earrings need to have stoppers/grooves in the earring rod to prevent this! I’m so angry and upset about this right now!

I made a big online order, and when received, 3 of the earring pairs broke when opening them (hoop styles)- I was rather frustrated and annoyed, so started an online chat. Within minutes, they had emailed me- I sent off the 3 photos of the broken earring pairs and they swiftly resolved the problem and issued me a full refund for the faulty earrings.
After reading the reviews, I was expecting it to be an incredibly difficult problem to rectify, but once they saw the photos, they issued an refund. My problem was resolved via online chat within 10...
Hair Accessories Unopened Cannot Be Returned Or Exchanged
Be warned that hair slides and clips etc that are still plastic tied and sticky taped to their cards cannot be refunded or EXCHANGED. This is their policy but it is not advertised in store. It is written on the receipt in the fine print. So you don't find out about the policy until AFTER you have purchased the non-refundable and non-exchangeable item. No advice of this from the sales assistant at time of purchase. Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy. And as others have said here the customer service is terrible. The girl just kept picking her nail polish while shrugging at me when I asked why this policy is not clearly shown near the hair accessories. Brookside, Mitchelton QLD store.

Poor product, poor customer service and no help online.
After spending $68.97 in store yesterday I had a problem with one earring that was difficult to close. I went back to the shop to organise a refund, replacement or credit for the one faulty item. I was told it was just fiddle and as it was an earring I couldn’t return it due to hygiene.
If I can’t put the earring in then it is faulty and not to the expected standard. After trying to contact someone on line the conversation was terminated after being told that earrings can’t be returned.
It was not a change of mind it was a faulty product.
The products here may not be expensive but you do expect them to serve their purpose.
Very poor service Lovisa. A credit would have been a sensible response.
sensitive cross earrings
I need help. I cant seem to get these sensitive cross earrings out there like stuck, the end wont come of, if I pull just from the back the front will ache because its sharp no matter what I do I cant get them out, I do not recommend, don't get them!
no matter how desperate you get for cartilage piercings, never ever go here as they pierce your cartilage with a gun. you will have your cartilage shattered and your ear with become super infected and swolled. it will scar and you will never be able to pierce your ear in that same spot. super dangerous. go to a decent piercing shop
Bondi junction service was terrible
I went to return an item that I bought that morning, not worn at all or unpacked and they refused to exchange or refund the item. Customer service was horrible, I felt belittled and uncomfortable.
I had my cartlige done x 2 near each other. They used a gun, my ears became so sore and swollen to the point I wasn't sleeping. Had to go to emergency department to have them removed was absolutely excruciating. Dont ever let them pierce your ears. I have been told I can no longer get it redone done to damage
