Lovisa Epping Plaza has a extremely rude Indian staff member. Why don't she go back to her disease infestation smelly dirty country and stop putting mud in Australia you dirty thing Show details
Robina Store (upstairs)- I've been here twice for lobe piercings and the service has been top notch. Eila did my piercings both times and she is absolutely wonderful. Great personality and so very helpful and easy to chat to. Would highly recommend Show details
Received all my item on delivery only to realize the little zirconia is missing from some items (waterproof necklace and studs) but also one of the studs is a mismatched pair. I put 5 star for delivery because it was fast and ontime, that was the only 5 star

Bought a Waterproof necklace and after 3 weeks it has already started to tarnish. Product certainly not as advertised.
I got my ear pierced by leya she did an amazing job she was very polite and the way she did absolutely superb Show details
After receiving my new earrings, I opened them to find the hoop earrings were the "mini" variety which is not what I expected. Without needing to open the clear bubble wrap packets, I asked Lovisa how to return them and received the following WARNING in their response. I want all prospective purchasers to be aware of this condition.
Never recommend for earpiearcing. The gun was out dated and cause pain – I will never recommend Lovisa earpiercing service. I was shocked they use the cheapest maunal gun instead of those like Caflon Blu Earpiercing Gun.I AM NOT A SALES PERSON! The gun Lovisa using was way too slow and really painful for my daughter. I had mine 35 years ago in Hong Kong and it was as good as those Caflon gun. Of course i did not… Read more
know.what brand the hong kong stores are using. But every hong kong ear piearcing places used those painless gun. Virtually PAINFREE. Just like a rubber band hit my ear. Just within 1 second all done. I was very upset and disappointed why the company not willing to spend $180 or less for a painfree equipment for this. For children under 5 will be a terrible experience. I did not cry at all when i was only 5 years old when i got my ear pieacing in HK. ...sadly my teenage daughter in Adelaide Australia ! She was tearing because of the pain. She was shaking when she was going to do her second ear. Can Lovisa upgrade your equipment? It has been around 50 years for those swifty gun. Oh my god. I seriously cannot believe it.

I got my seconds done this morning by a lovely person named Ayah at Lovisa Eastlands. She was very kind and professional and took care into making sure my piercing looked nice. Show details

We would give them a 0 if we could. My friend and I were accused of breaking something when we didn't even go near the gold section (we both wear silver). The lady was so rude and yelled at us. Rudest customer service we have ever experienced. We will never be going back. Show details
I'll be honest, the earrings are beautiful, they're complete cr#p, they fell apart after the first time I put them on. I bought four for one, one of them was blue and dyed my whole neck, so I was wondering why they don't give a bill.

This is the first time I have shopped with Lovisa. I ordered five items, and only three arrived - the three cheapest items I might add. So I checked through all of my emails (no mean feat prior to Christmas) and found nothing to advise me that my items would be sent in two packages. Then I emailed Lovisa to advise that I was missing two items and… Read more
their bot advised me that I had received all my items. So I advised the bot again that I hadn't received all my items and it asked if I wanted to be in the queue for a human response. I said yes. I heard nothing all weekend and assumed that customer service only worked during business hours, but on Monday morning I received an email asking me to rate Lovisa's customer service. This made me think that no human would be contacting me about my non-delivery. So I telephoned Lovisa. I let the customer service agent know what had happened and she responded in a bored, sarcastic tone: "It's just a bot." I get that but it was programmed by a human and the bot could have said "Our records show that you should have received all your items" rather than "You have received all your items" and it could also advise that customer service only works during business hours. Plus why am I being asked to rate customer service when I have not received any? This could be fed back to management so they can improve their customer service responses. Then the customer service agent advised me with attitude that customer service would only have received my query this morning and she would get to it later that day. So I have called Lovisa and not only is customer service rude but they are unwilling to respond to my query. So Lovisa is very much earning this one star. After I had made my online complaint to Lovisa, I continued to shop and found one of the items I had ordered from Lovisa for a quarter the price on Amazon, so I ordered some more (Christmas reindeer clips), and they have already been delivered. So, Lovisa products are low quality, it is not the cheapest store, the storeroom is obviously struggling, and customer service is a joke. But if my complaint is not resolved to my satisfaction (I.e. I get my products) I will be making a complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). One star over 243 reviews, indicates a poorly performing company that is consistently neglectful of Australian consumer rights.
Oh, in response to the person whose ears swelled up; I suggest only buying sterling silver or sterling silver covered with gold, or pure gold - these are the only truly hypoallergenic materials for earrings. Etsy Australia has a number of Australian sellers who offer such earrings at low prices and as they are Australian sellers you are covered by Australian law despite Etsy being an Irish platform.

Bought a pair of hypoallergenic sterling silver earrings, which are one of the more expensive items in the store, that are absolute rubbish. Shortly after putting them in which involves unscrewing the front detail of the earring from the back (never ever seen this before in my 35 years of wearing earrings), the front charms fell off and I was left… Read more
with just the post in my ear and the rest of it lost! So I paid $34 for 10 minutes of wear, what a heap of junk Lovisa is! Stick to Arms of Eve or Mezi. They may be double the price but are 100 times the quality.
I informed the technicians, (a term I use loosely) that I can't keep the studs they supply in my ear due to the lobe swelling, and that both the stud and butterfly clip burying themselves into my earlobe due to the studs being too short for my earlobe. This causes me much pain and infection, something I've learned that from experience. I brought… Read more
my own sleepers with me, and told the staff that as soon as the ear was pierced (two piercings), they would need to remove the studs and replace them with the sleepers. I was asked to choose which studs I wanted, and again I told the assistant that it didn't matter because they had to come out straight away, and my sleepers to go on due to the swelling. No mention was made that they wouldn't/couldn't do it for me until after they had my money, and my ear was pierced. After the first piercing, the gun got stuck. The young shop assistant started to panic because she couldn't dislodge the piercing gun from the stud, so the entire piercing gun was hanging off my ear while I had to hang on to it, and the young girl went for assistance. Her fellow shop assistant finally came after she finished serving a customer, and between them, they managed to dislodge the piercing gun. Would I recommend Lovisa to anybody... I don't dislike anybody enough to suggest they go there!
Took my daughter to get a second piercing only to find that the details they require are absolutely OTT, very intrusive. Why they need to know our address and my birth date is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting at least they have one thing going for them they didn't ask for a copy of my passport like the other company did. Your piercing ears not open heart surgery calm down on the amount of details you think you require. Will never shop here again
The customer service I got was good online,4 star to the one lady that helped But In store (East Maitland store) I went into lovisa and the shop attendant was busy fixing her eyebrows in the mirror on the display. 1 star for actually serving I spose There jewellery is definitely not what they say it is I only wore there waterproof items being… Read more
necklace and bracelet and 3 days bracelet broke then necklace lost its gold colour within 5 days absolutely disgusting yes they did replace bracelet but it was replaced with a totally different one and the necklace was refunded why put things in description of items if it’s not true.
Their product quality is very poor compared to the price ranges. Jewelleries get turnished & sometimes be broken easily. I purchased a few from the shop & not gonna purchase again. This brand is overrated but the products are not value for money. They just provide low quality products in high prices. Also their staffs are not well trained, they don't have appropriate product knowledge.
Had a generally good experience with them until this last time. All the other orders were sent and delivered normally; sometimes minor issues occurred. They were sorted out, and customer service people were helpful and also polite, overall. This last time it was totally the opposite. I ordered earrings and the delivery method was switched with… Read more
the Shop app. I was told this was a glitch by the first person at customer service. Then I realised that the delivery address was also not correct in the Australia Post app and called Lovisa twice more trying to understand why this was happening. The delivery time was also suddenly estimated 2 weeks from the original date. None of this was making sense, so I had made these two calls to sort it out. During these two conversations the reps were unhelpful and even rude. I was accused of entering the address wrong and that it was entirely my fault and there was nothing that they could do. They said to me they weren’t aware of what the other person said, and weren’t aware about any glitch and that I entered that address myself. Makes no sense to me. What is worse, the last call assistant repeatedly spoke over me. I asked her to please wait and she continued: even though she was aware I was not finished. She ignored what I said. I was not able to present my point due to her interrupting all the time and speaking continually over me. If this is not adequately sorted out, I will never shop with Lovisa again. Additionally, their pieces often turn green and stain. Even though this are very cheap earrings, you’d expect them to be wearable. I’ve spent maybe $30+ altogether on sales items, and I’d still expect them to be usable.
What an absolute disgrace your stores are to staff !!!! Heard on Rhe Project about staff pissing on the floor as no break, a woman miscarried and had to finish her shift, bullying. Etc etc etc Your a disgrace and won’t be shopping there again !!!!
Beautiful Mini helped today around lunchtime as I had my 2nd & 3rd earpiercings done. What a beautiful professional to come across. She was thorough and thoughtful and I felt at ease in her hands of expertise. Thankyou Mini @lovisa Show details

Sterling Silver is FAKE – Purchased three pairs of 'sterling silver' earrings. All three turned black, with the posts thinning so much one almost broke in half removing it! This was AFTER I had my 2nds & 3rds lobe peircings done, which Ive had nothing put pain and infection with, and with one 3rd that the piercing hit cartilage and is not aligned with the other side. only this, the 'surgical steel' jewellary used turned black also, which is why I purchased three 'sterling silver' pairs to change them out.
Absolute rubbish service and rubbish products. Never again will I shop here. I have spoken to others who have also had the same experience, both for piercings and jewellary quality.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Worst customer service ever – The customer service here was extremely disappointing. It felt like we were treated differently because of our skin color. My wife and I were looking to buy some earrings when a lady staff member approached us and asked if we needed anything. I simply asked if the store was about to close, and her response was shockingly rude. She gave us a condescending expression and replied in an arrogant manner. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.
Terrible – Bought a gold plated necklace 7 days ago. Already rubbed off and spells metallic. Everything I’ve gotten from Lovisa has lasted less than a few wears. Disgusting quality. Should be closed down.
Misleading – We visited the Southland store two days ago. Signs everywhere “Sale, Sale,Sale”. “Up to 60% off”. Strangely none of the items my wife wanted were on sale. Yes you guessed it full price. I think it’s referred to by consumer affairs as misleading and deceptive conduct - not good enough.
Terrible Experience - Avoid Lovisa for Piercings – I am beyond disappointed with Lovisa's customer service, particularly the attitude of the manager. Last week, I brought my daughter to have her ears pierced at their store. What followed was nothing short of a nightmare. My daughter’s ear became severely infected after the piercing, to the point that we had to take her to the hospital to have the… Read more
earring removed. Despite this, we returned to the store with the earring and asked to have her ear re-pierced, hoping for some accountability and understanding.
Instead of offering an apology or showing any concern, the manager outright blamed my daughter, claiming she hadn’t cared for the piercing properly—even though the other ear was perfectly fine. To add insult to injury, the manager informed us that they could not re-pierce her ear until it had fully healed. Yet, another staff member mentioned that they can do it yet we would need to pay full fees for the re-piercing, even though we had the original earring with us. The inconsistency and lack of empathy were astounding.
When I tried to discuss this with the manager, and spoke about their bad review regards piercing on google, her attitude was appalling. She dismissively said, “Well, why are you here then?” instead of addressing my concerns or showing any professionalism. Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and combative. She talked over me constantly and showed zero interest in resolving the issue.
The problems started from the very beginning. When filling out the consent form, I was asked to provide my details for my daughter’s piercing—an unnecessary and intrusive request that should have been a red flag.
It’s clear that customer service is not a priority for this store, and the manager, in particular, has no business working in a role that involves interacting with people.
If you value your time, money, and health, avoid Lovisa for piercings at all costs. This experience was a disaster from start to finish, and I deeply regret trusting them with my daughter’s ear piercing.
Please avoid
Shein quality for premium prices. Don’t bother! – Absolute junk, I’m never shopping here again. Don’t waste your time and money. Their so called “premium” and “waterproof” stainless steel and sterling silver ranges peel, fade, discolour and tarnish after ONE week of wear. I spent $250 on an online order for a few rings and a necklace and they all look terrible now. Nothing about them is waterproof. False advertising and a total scam.
Terrible Quality, terrible customer service, no refund – OMG cheap poor quality products with misleading Black Friday sale prices if I could rate this no stars I would. I bought expensive earrings for my sister worth $20-$50 and they broke before I got home. I walked in the next day asking for a refund or to be credited and NOPE. I am not going back in that shop again. Show details
Faulty product. No refund – Bought the more expensive range - $23 for a small pair of sleeper earrings. Very poor quality - the two ends do not line up so impossible to put in without someone helping who can do under direct vision - and even then it is very difficult! I consider this faulty so I returned them next day - no refund or credit - was just told to get someone to help me put my earrings in every time I use them!! Show details
