for my first appointment and then Emily for my second). They were both absolutely wonderful and made me feel very at ease. Neither were pushy, they stood back and let me decide on what I liked and what I didn’t. Even though you pick up to 5 dresses that you wish to try on prior to the appointment, I was allowed to still try on an extra that I saw on the rack and loved. They have so many beautiful designs there too. I went in with one dress in mind (which I was lucky enough to also love on and ended up going with), however would have easily picked another dress from there too if I didn’t love my dress.

They made the experience fun and memorable and add a very nice touch at the end of you do pick your dress there (which I won’t ruin for other brides). 11/10, definitely recommend :-)

Very unsatisfied! Poor quality and rude staff – I ordered a dress through the Varsity Lakes Store after a short and rushed appointment. did not fit. The sample size 6 had fit perfectly and now I had a size 2 corset that could barely cover half of my body. It was obvious this dress was beyond repair. The customer service team sit behind a computer and refuse to see you or speak to you. They don’t even provide a phone number to contact! 6 weeks and many emails later they finally saw me and the dress was swapped for the now old and battered sample dress which I will not be wearing. 5 weeks out from my wedding day I am dressless and mad. These girls are rude and unapologetic whilst lacking in basic dress making skills and protocol. Good luck to this basic Instagram company!

I had the bone/nude underlay and wore the chani veil. I originally had the Stevie veil but I decided to go with the Chani. The train of my dress looked beautiful on the grass for our garden wedding.

The process of getting your dress is quite different as they send it to your house and you organise to take it to a recommended alterations lady. The alterations lady made those beautiful finishing touches to make it fit extra perfect.

The service I received from Sharon in the Adelaide boutique was first class. She was personable and made me feel really comfy. The boutique is a really beautiful space to visit and I much preferred the personal service rather than going to a dress shop and coming out in front of the general public. I Sharon also knew the Stevie was the one for me.

Communication from the company was great. The dress arrived early and the way it was packaged up was stunning. I was so very excited to open the box, open the large ribbons and unravel the dress from the tissue paper.

The only thing I did find disappointing was when I received my dress and lay it out on my bed I saw the product tag saying 'made in China'. This really did make my heart sink and I felt a little differently about the dress as I really had thought it was coming from the MWL in the Gold Coast. I was disappointed that the dress was not Australian Made and did make the dress feel a little less special at the time. But by the time our special day had come around I had moved past that. Although I didn't ask exactly where the dress was going to be made, everything I knew about the company made me assume it was made on the Gold Coast. The materials and the finishing's on the dress were lovely.

What a company! – I purchased my gorgeous wedding dress at the Sydney boutique and right from entering the door I felt like a princess. beautiful summer dress was handcrafted beautifully but I did have a few of the delicate lace fall off during the night. This didn’t affect the beautiful look of the dress however.

DD. The boobs gape on the sides and the straps are too tight and I cant even move. They never mention alterations until when it's paid for, and they say 'minor'. My dress does not need minor, its requiring major.

Disappointed and deterred – A truly disheartening experience. Not worth my time, energy, or money. I felt so unwelcome after being greeted by an assistant who couldn’t even introduce herself. To make matters worse, I wasn’t helped into the dresses nor were the dresses fitted to flatter my body. Instead, I stood there with my boobs out and zipper undone. I’m a tall, size 10 woman, yet this appointment left me hating my body. And the experience deterred me from wanting to try on any more dresses that day. I hope you improve your quality of service, especially if you’re going to charge for it. A bridal appointment is supposed to be an unforgettable and uplifting moment... not a scarring one.

Hopeless at their job – I contacted the store very far in advance to book in an appointment for a certain day as I had organised this with my bridal party. MWL told me I couldn’t book the appointment because it was too far in advance and to email back with about 6 weeks notice. as to how this happened if they were not taking bookings prior to the day I email.

When I told them I couldn’t make that time due to other appointments the same day they tried to offer me another appointment and kept sending me invoices to pay for the appointment.

I told them I couldn’t make it any more.

They then emailed me a few weeks later to see if I could make an appointment time that had come available and within minutes of getting that email they email me again saying oh no that’s been snapped up how about this time instead?

I emailed back telling them I would not be buying my dress through them due to their poor customer service and I didn’t even receive an email back apologising.

My sister had a very bad experience with them a couple of years back when purchasing her dress too. The lady she saw in the show room was very rude and blunt with her.

I would not recommend booking an appointment with them. If you’re in Brisbane head to white lily couture instead as they stock their dresses and the staff are lovely!

Wonderful experience! – The team at made with love bridal were amazing and so accomodating! I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant but the wedding will be after Bub is born which means we had to use some imagination during the fitting. Annette was so helpful throughout the process, making sure I had enough time for alterations. Very excited to see the final product and to wear the dress on my special day :)

the dress might really look on the day and undoubtedly contributed towards me picking a dress from their beautiful range rather than one of the many other dresses I tried on. The range of dresses is gorgeous and the fit relaxed and comfortable. Their sizing is very inclusive, which as a plus size I very much appreciated. The ordering process was simple and straightforward. My only slight critique is that I found it very difficult to find a phone number anywhere to call to let them know I was running a few minutes late. Otherwise, a flawless experience!

What a wonderful experience! – I recently had an appointment at the Sydney Made With Love store and honestly what a wonderful experience. Nat was helpful and warm and went above and beyond for not only me but my mother and sister who also attended the appointment. Nat made me feel comfortable whilst trying dresses on.
