Beautiful jewellery but low quality, get tarnished and broken easily – The design is nice but quality is not impressive at all. Poor customer service. Poor management. Not looking after staff either. When I went to pick up my jewellery store manager mentioned sales assistant that I liked and used to shop from her got sacked because she got a secret shopper on the day that the store sales machine was broken and she couldn’t manage to get the system working while she has a secret shopper! Absolutely disrespectful. Show details
Package never showed up – Ordered jewelry from this company as a Christmas present, ordered placed on 1st December to allow enough time for it to arrive prior to Christmas rush. A tracking number was provided but the package never left Israel and I never received the package. The company initially blamed Australia Post for the delay stating from their investigation the… Read more
package was in Australia. This was infact incorrect and after much correspondence, the company finally reported that the delivery was delayed due to bad weather, apologised and provided full reimbursed. While I am happy I got my money back, I would have preferred my order arriving in time for Christmas. Companies communication was very slow and initially made me do a lot of the follow up with Australian post before reporting the delay was on their side. If you don't want the headache of waiting and hoping your order arrives I suggest avoiding this company.
Do not buy online from these people!!!!!! – I bought jewellery and it was mailed from Israel, most of it didn't fit and I paid $40.00 to return the jewellery for a credit. I have tried to email the company many times in the last 3 months to ask what has happened to the refund and have not heard a single word. They are so quick to take money but its like a silent bottomless pit to get… Read more
anything returned. Shame on you Magnolia for your unethical business practices, you should not be selling online. Do not buy from them.
Nice to start with not anymore – Had necklace and earrings bought for me for my daughters wedding 3 years ago. They were lovely .Have worn them twice and they have tarnished. Rather sad considering they cost over $100.
Stunning affordable pieces – Beautiful handcrafted pieces and great customer service ... Highly recommended , caters to each and every pocket and every type of customer
Nora M – I got my first magnolia ring a couple of years ago from my friends as birthday gift and from that day on I have been collecting some few items. Great quality and lovely designs!! Cant wait to get my next piece. Highly recommended
Amazing Jewellery. Very unique and great customer service! – The quality of the products are absolutely amazing. The first time that I purchased from Magnolia was for a friends birthday present and ended up loving the ring so much that I went back and ordered one for myself :) I was told that it would be a 6 week wait for it because it was being made especially for me but I received the ring in 4 weeks… Read more
after purchase.
I am now a regular customer of there's because I love the quality and the unique designs so much that I can't help myself and the girls that work at the store are so friendly and welcoming.
Great product range – Bought some gifts to take overseas with me, and my family loved it!! Beautiful handcrafted jewellery with unique design!! And What I loved the most is that I live in the UK and if anything happen I can use the warranty over there! Also the service is amazing, girls are very friendly and helpful!
Unique pieces – Bought some beautiful pieces for my family for Christmas gifts. Wide variety of unique pieces to suit different styles. Great prices also. The sales person had great knowledge on all the items and stones.
Beautiful designs but tarnishes – My husband bought a gorgeous set for me a few years ago. I wear it out on special occasions. I went to get it out of the box the other day to find that it had all tarnished, wasn't impressed as it was expensive and we were told that it is quality silver. Wouldn't buy it again or recommend it :(
Sales Assistants Intolerable – I walk past the Magnolia Jewellery stand every day after work and cannot help but stop by and have a look at all the pretty jewellery. Shame about the customer service. Sales assistants are aggressive and pushy and do not stop talking. So much so that I feel angry and harassed every time I leave. Definitely won't be going there anymore.
This review should have 0 stars!! – Purchased a necklace for my girlfriend, girl selling it to me was friendly and helped me out with the exact one i saw online, all was fine. Until Only 5 months after purchasing the necklace, 2 of the diamonds surrounding the amethyst fell out completely, bit odd but no worries after taking it in and being greeted by the same, still friendly… Read more
sales girl i was told to wait 6 to 9 weeks for it to be shipped back to the manufacturer to be repaired (as it was a handmade piece).
After 3 months
I still had not heard from the store so i called them, not a problem the office will e-mail you where your necklace is *takes my e-mail* and we said good-bye.
After4 months
Having received no e-mail i went in-store, greeted by a different, less friendly sales member, having explained that i received no e-mail i was informed they don't even use e-mails?! She then explained that the original company that made the necklace now ceases to exist so the necklace had been shipped to a 3rd party company to conduct the repairs, expect it within the next 2 weeks "as we only get 1 delivery per week", whatever okay sure, and i left.
5 months after i returned it to be repaired and 5 weeks after the above happened
I recieve a call from a 3rd, impatient and blunt sales member informing me my necklace was FINALLY ready to be picked up
I had my mother pick the necklace up as she was going past the store the next day and when i finally got to look at the necklace that was well over 4 months overdue it was immediately obvious what a poor repair job had been undertaken, the stones weren't the right size and it was obvious which 2 had fallen out.
So i took the necklace back into the store asking to replace the necklace with another new one as this one was not sufficiently repaired, "the company that makes them ceases to exist so we don't have any more, but i'd be happy to give you another necklace in a different colour" was what i was told by the 2nd less friendly sales member, at this point i just gave up and took my necklace and left.
Avoid!!! Do not buy anything from this company, go somewhere more reputable, it may be more expensive but it's expensive for a reason.
Horrible customer service!! – Magnolia Chermside Brisbane - worst customer service on a managerial level you can imagine. When I asked if they are worried about loosing loyal customers the girl behind the counter said that they don't realy care! I wish there was an option to select no star at all but unfortunately a 1 star is the lowest you can go.

Beauiful jewellery BUT Horrible Service – I went to the store at Bondi Junction to purchase jewellery for my daughter for her upcoming engagement and seriously I have never ever seen such pathetic service such a I experienced in this store. The Australian girl was rude, impatient and behaved like I was wasting her precious time. I believe every customer must be treated with respect and… Read more
spoken to respectfully. Don't think anyone has to go through this when today with online shopping you are just a click away from everything. Discovered ebay has some very good dealers selling Israel sterling silver jewellery like Shablool and a few other brands. Service is the most important thing I look for when I visit a store and pay the premium price....otherwise Magnolia's jewellery is beautiful.
Amazing service and unusual products! – I recently bought some Christmas presents at Magnolia Silver in Melbourne Central and was blown away by the beautiful customer service. All the girls were smiling and so happy to help! I bought gifts for my sisters and mum and was advised brilliantly on what to buy. My little sister is very fussy and didn't like her gift- I was worried she… Read more
wouldn't find anything there but when we returned to the Doncaster store to exchange it the sales assistant was more than happy to help is find something else
The variety of items is incredible and my sister was easily able to swap it for something else- the problem was more what to choose because their pieces are so pretty and their rings and the most beautiful I have seen in a long time!
Great quality jewelries, amazing customer service and great prices!!! – I always by my jewelries at Magnolia, the carry out a large range of all kind of jewelries at really good prices and the quality is extremely good. I still have my watch that I have bought when the first open Bondi junction store, which is around 8 years ago. I love this watch everywhere I go people ask me about it! from Magnolia again this year.
So Thank you Magnolia!!
Keep amazing us with new jewelries every year :)
Never buying magnolia jewellery again – I boutght my mother a birthday gift about a year ago and she has probably worn it once and put it away and today we looked at it and it was tarnished. It looked disgusting and cheap despite having spent a fortune on it. I hope everyone reads this and learns the truth about how poor the quality is.
I like it – I bought two sets from Westfield - bondi junction booth, the sales team were all friendly and helpful.for all purchases I was given one year warranty. I'm a bit disappointed. I had ordered a ring that has a labradorite stone, in the ring I've got this stone is not as pure as the display
Strong Recommendation: DO NOT BUY RINGS – I purchased a $100+ ring for an anniversary and that very night, within hours of wearing it, I found that it had bent into an oval shape from normal everyday activities and movements. When I took it in the next day I explained to the salesperson the distortion and in front of my partner and I, she bent it with just her fingers back into a more… Read more
round shape!! Surely conclusive proof that the quality is poor!! She sent it off to have it tested and a few days later I received an email saying the ring looked fine and was holding up to the tests performed on it. I had already explained that the salesperson was able to BEND IT WITH JUST HER FINGERS but they refused to give me a refund, claiming they could only give me store credit.
Knowing how terrible the quality of their jewellery is, what makes them think I would want any other dodgy products of theirs?
Furthermore, when I vented to my friends about dealing with Magnolia, one of them said they had been given a ring as well for their 21st birthday and it bent out of shape a month later! This isn't just a one off error in quality, read the reviews and ask around; the price you pay is for nice designs but horrible quality. Design was unique Bad quality metal - ridiculously easily distorted; Dodgy warranty & refunds
Expensive Rubbish – My daughter brought me a ring from Magnolia for my birthday ..a lovely surprise! It lasted 14 months a piece of the ring broke off very disappointing and of course out of the 12 month warranty ..they offered to repair for $20 it was away for 6 weeks when it did come back they said it could'nt be repaired but they could remake the ring at a cost to… Read more
me that being the price I paid for it.. I said why would I want to do that ??? the same thing could happen again ..still have my broken ring and no satisfaction .. they don't Stand by their Product ..we will never shop in there store again .
Expensive Rubbish not fit for a Christmas Cracker .
Wonderful – I recently bought $400 worth of jewelry at your epping store for my wedding. The sales assistant who served me was amazing. She was friendly and listened to what I was after for my special day. I believe her name was [Personal Name Removed] she was by far the best sales assistant I have had the delight of meeting at the epping store. If you need help with any quires I suggest seeing her. Cant wait for my special day!
Service – After purchasing silver jewellery at Burwood I left the store and went home. The following day I found a bracelet that I had purchased was defective and the returned to the store after a few days. I found the staff to be very cooperative and helpfull. After consulting with the managers the bracelet was replaced.Thank you Magnolia staff and management. Reliable service and customer attention

Good service – I bought a beautiful necklace several months ago. I think the designs were unique and great. A couple of weeks ago my necklace broke when my little one pulled on it. I went back to Magnolia store in Chatswood Chase and they told me that the warranty fully covers my necklace and they will send it for repair free of charge. I got the necklace after… Read more
3 weeks. A long time to wait but worthwhile because it was properly fixed and it was free. reliable, free and great designs
Dodgy – For Christmas I was given a bracelet which was bought for full price. It came with an exchange slip. I went to the Broadway shop and tried to exchange it for a more expensive item which was now on sale. I was told that i could exchange it but that I can't get the new item for the sale price. I questioned this 'rule' which they could show me no… Read more
evidence for, but the sales assistant ignored me and walked away. They have aggressive sales tactics and poor customer service skills.Their jewellery is so fine and clasps etc are very flimsy. Very disappointed.
flimsy clasp
Great at first – Last week I purchased a necklace that I've had my eye on for a month. Then I saw one of my colleagues wear it and I thought it looks too pretty not to have! So I went ahead and got it at the Chadstone store. The girl was super nice. I told her I only had a few minutes left of my afternoon tea break and she was very chatty. But given the poor… Read more
customer service I get at large department stores, I didn't mind being held up. She was absolutely lovely. But when I got home and tried on the necklace, the charm was completely lopsided. The way the charm had been drilled to put the chain through was completely wrong. Ordinarily I don't mind little things like that but when I had it on it just bothered me. So I went back the next day and dealt with the manager. And my god what a rude woman she was!! She saw me standing there with the bag on the counter and she had her back towards me. After a good 20 seconds she then decided to turn around. I told her what the issue was and she started to inspect the necklace and said "I don't understand what the problem is". So I held it up and showed her how lopsided it was. She then quite rudely said "it's meant to be like that". I said well a colleague of mine has the same one and it sits straight, the way it's meant to. She then claimed that she didn't have any more left so I asked for a return. I told her that I was happy to drive all the way to Southland to get it. Once she heard me say the word 'return', she spun around and grabbed one off the table behind her and hissed HERE IS THAT BETTER? I ignored her attitude and kept my cool. I looked at it to make sure that it was right and said "that's perfect, thank you". She demanded to see my receipt so I passed it over. But she inspected it like I was giving her counterfeit money. As if I were in the wrong! She said "that's fine", threw it down on the counter, turned her back, and went back to whatever it was she was doing. No apologies, no have a nice day, not even a goodbye.
Because of this woman, I will never shop at this store again. It was my first time and it will be my last. I work in customer service myself - a few stores down from the Magnolia in Chadstone. The manager has seen me walk past at least 4 times a week for the last 3 years. So she knows I work in the centre.
Had I spoken to a customer like that, I would have lost my job on the spot. But then again, my sister applied for a job at Magnolia in Chadstone last Christmas. The manager called her for an interview but my sister had a final exam on the day she wanted to do the interview. My sister said that she was happy to come in an hour later or happy to reschedule to for any other day and time that the manager was available. But the store manager said "don't worry about it, I'll call you back" and hung up on her without saying goodbye. She never called back. So I'm guessing this woman is just bad to the core, both as a manager and as a person. It's her way or no way. You have to argue with this woman for an exchange/return - even if it's a faulty item. Stay right away from her. Very pretty items Poor to okay quality, shocking customer service, and an interesting returns/exchange policy: "one exchange only". What happens if the second is just as faulty?
Poor quality and slow service – I bought a pair of earrings about a month ago and one of the stones fell out, who knows how long I looked like an idiot for! Went to return them today with a receipt and got told I couldn't get a refund, I needed to pick something else. If you buy a product and it breaks shouldn't you be entitled to a refund!!! I was mad so I didn't want to get… Read more
anything today so I had to wait for the lady to get me a credit note, which she had no idea how to do! I would say I won't shop there again but I'm now forced to with the credit note grrrrrr!!!
Expensive poor quality
Poor quality – I bought a bracelet for myself and also for my mum, the clasp and tag broke within 2 weeks, the quality is terrible, that is they look good on stands or stands, no standard. Website states Vigorous testing? Please. It's not true. Drop by any retail, pick up one and see if they can last a month with you if you don't believe. pretty and sweet looking with reasonable pricing terrible to almost no quality
Will not go back – I purchased quite a few pieces from Magnolia kiosk in Highpoint, the sales lady talked too much and was a bit all over the place. I was stuck there for at least one hour trying to get her to process the transaction and she just took forever trying to organize the jewellery -slow is an understatement. The extensions she did for my necklaces look… Read more
really tacky, the extension chain does not match the original and she used those round springring clasps which really stand out and distract from the murano glass beads. I have since taken the necklaces to a proper jeweller and spent more money to fix the extensions. The icing on the cake is that I had two money vouchers which you receive depending on how much you spend for each transaction, and when I returned at a later date to use the vouchers she refused to allow me to use the two vouchers at the same time.
Because the vouchers were more than fifty percent of the item price she wouldn't do it. After disputing the fact that there are no terms and conditions on the vouchers she quite rudely said to me that if I wasn't going to purchase anything then she had other customers to serve. I spent over $400 at Magnolia and the customer service was terrible from the beginning to the end and I cannot believe that Alex Perry would be associated with this business if he knew how the frontline staff were treating people. The question is whether there are managers behind the scenes encouraging this kind of sales behaviour.
Customer service is disgraceful.
Great product – I have been shopping with Magnolia for years now and I love their product. Very unique and stylish. The store in Chadstone is very nice and beautiful. I think the store woudl have been better off if it was in a shop and not in a kiosk but I guess it has its advantage Design In a kiosk and not in a shop
Horrible service by the sales manager! – I went into the Melbourne Central Magnolia kiosk today, as one of my beloved Magnolia necklaces needed to be repaired (the pendant came off the necklace). Unfortunately I didn't have the receipt at the ready but it was in the box it came in. I had already gone into the same shop the day before and was told by the manager they could fix it without… Read more
a receipt. I was absolutely barked at by the sales assistance!! She accused me of expecting her to "break the company regulations". Apparently I said that I "did not deserve to pay $10 for a repair because I'm a regular customer". Having spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Magnolia over the years, $10 is not really an issue for me. I would've been very happy to pay $50 to get it fixed. She lectured me for over 10 minutes and honestly the whole thing left me feeling shaken up. What's worse is that she said she identified herself as "The Magnolia Sales Manager" when I went back there to ask for her name. I definitely won't be going back there.
Save your money for something better – Jewellery is average at best and terribly overpriced for what it is. Also they won't let you exchange gifts if they are not to your taste. Strange policy as jewellery is very personal and often pieces bought by others are not what you want at all. Seriously save your money for elsewhere.
Love your style! – I purchased in Magnolia Silver several times, sometimes for myself and some as a gift for friends. They never cease to surprise with their original and unique designs! Those gifts never failed. Thanks for great customer service and awesome jewellery. I have no doubt that I will come back soon. customer service, original and unique jewellery designs
Good – Magnolia have such delicate and unique jewellery which is absolutely to die for. They group their jewellery colour/theme accordingly to make it easy to browse. I've only ever seen Magnolia stands in shopping centres, usually at the top/bottom of escalators, so don't go looking for an actual store. Last time I visited a Magnolia stand (at Broadway)… Read more
the sales assistant was most helpful- I just told her what style I was looking for, and my price range, and she pulled out a whole lot of different items for me to choose from. Gorgeous jewellery, like no other. Its very pricey jewellery, and there aren't many stands around.
