Have 1 on the jetski and 1 on the motorcycle, easy to hide and don’t have to worry about getting damaged with the optional silicon case.. big piece of mind knowing I’ll be notified as soon as they leave the house without me..

What a great product, does exactly as claimed. We have them in our cars and just came back from overseas where we had them in our checked baggage as well to track our bags as we had to change flights halfway. I like that you can same the tags with other people to log location - great safety feature for the family. Delivery of the MagTags was quick, had them within days of ordering online. We also brought the weatherproof secure holders, great for the car, you can lock them in position and can't be tampered with. Only had them a short time, but the quality seems great, they look professional.

I have a Magtag with key tag and have found it useful for finding my car keys when I misplace them. There is also an alert on my phone if I leave the keys behind somewhere . One minor issue is that when I know that the keys are nearby and select play sound it is a little bit too quiet for my liking. I have been very pleased with the product. Show details

I purchased 5 tags and have them in all my vehicles and also purchased the waterproof dog collar case as it is very robust and water proof and have installed that one on my motor bike. equipment, and valuable assets anywhere they travel, with secure location updates relayed by nearby Apple devices worldwide.” However, they’re most times lagging up to 4 hours before it updates. I find this lag to be hopeless, especially if I had a car stolen, not sure how and I quote “built for recovery” would help with such a long lag. With how their website is worded and I quote from their website again “Compact, discreet, and easy to deploy, MagTag® is made for assets that don’t stay close — where recovery actually matters” This wording made me believe that if my car was stolen, I would be able to get a quick recovery however, with a up to 4 hour lag, pretty sure I wouldn’t be getting my car back if it was stolen. I have spent almost 2 weeks troubleshooting, uninstalling them on Find My and reinstalling them, placing the items in the locations recommended on their website. This is not the product I believed it to be by the wording on their website.
Follow-up · Follow up. Set up of these was easy however, even after using all the troubleshooting solutions, these tags still do not work, they can lag up to 24 hours before they update. Follow-up · The battery life depends on which batteries you buy I choose good quality ones which are lasting about 4 to 5 months they are very easy to attach with the waterproof case the setup is very easy takes about 1 minute
The MagTag failed within one week of use. I contacted the supplier multiple times and was eventually advised that a replacement would be sent; however, it was never received. Based on this experience, I would recommend avoiding this business and instead purchasing a genuine Apple product for reliability.

I replied to the email stating I had made a mistake and wish to change to the iPhone version. There was no reply and no way of contacting them except for a web form for tech issues. “ME: I will just simply share my experience, which is negative.
MAGTAG: Initiated by you, not us! You created your own negative experience.
ME: I immediately replied to the confirmation email when I realised I had ordered the android tag rather than the iPhone one. Then I noticed it said that email address was not monitored, even though it was not a no-reply email.
MAGTAG: How we run our automation is fine. We sell large amounts of product and even the packing procedure is robotic.
ME: Then I discovered there were no contact details on your website except for a web form for technical issues. I filled that out and explained that I simply wanted the tag swapped to the iPhone one. I tried Facebook comments and then again this email address.
MAGTAG: That was a clearly unmonitored email that even stated orders cannot be changed. You ignored both those statements. Continuing on ignoring all the information we provide buyers.
ME: I just received an Oz post email saying the package is about to be dispatched. How about you just call and have it changed? Simple. MAGTAG: Not simple. Sorting through 16,000 odd packages.
ME: If you do this, then my experience will become a positive one. I’m happy to share either.
MAGTAG: You continue to dictate to us how we should operate our business, instead of owning up to your own mistakes. We are planning for this to escalate. We suggest you get legal advice moving forward.”

good quality with the battery cover plastic and easily damaged as they are fiddly even with the apple version. Not a deal breaker but need to be more careful changing batteries. These only work with apple phone so if item is stolen, it will need an apple phone to be within Bluetooth range for a few seconds to ping location. My e scooter being repaired only pings once per day while in the workshop of an outer suburb from a major city. I have used this on my $$$ caravan but would consider using a www.solidgps.com if it was parked on the street, still might. I put this on my dog's collar in a MagTag waterproof case. It took me a little while to find a collar that would be small enough to go through the holders that was also big enough for my large dog.
