Poor Quality Majestic Knight Caravan

Poor Quality in the building nasty cheap materials, Leaks all over the place , Chassi and axles are made by another company, towing it isn't the problem, Its the body construction & electrical 240v/ 12v lights, leaks. Show details

WARNING

We took our majestic van back 3 times to caboolture,still under warranty to fix the HDMI cable we had arranged to be installed while being built.
Two TV'S were damaged as they kept telling us each time it was fixed even though they did not test it.
Finally we had an audio visual guy inspect it and found it was all wired wrong and way too much voltage running through it.
We have been told by the head bloke there stay away we don't want to now you.
So our fridge and TV aerial that has always been problematic will remain problematic unless we sort it out ourselfs.
Majestic in Caboolture - unprofessional,poor workmanship and totally rude with no aftersales service.
I say stay away from majestic. Show details

DON"T DEAL WITH CABOOLTURE

Although we do like our SLX. There were minor things that needed to be fixed and that was a nightmare.
The Manager at Caboolture is dreadful. She makes you feel like you are a nuisance wanting things in your caravan you purchased at a good price to be sorted. They pretend to fix things to get rid of you and never follow up with what they promise. Please re consider buying a caravan from there. If we had of known the after sales service to be as bad as it is we would never of purchased a van from them. Show details

Very Disappointing

We have a 2018 SLE. Was more than happy with the van until about 3 months ago noticed some cracking in three different places through out the van. Took to repairer where he fond the van had been leaking from new due to no silicone in different places. Tried to contact Majestic for about 3 weeks with no reply, finally received an email telling us they wanted nothing to do with it and to stop trying to contact them. The van is now unusable. Never again will we have a majestic. Rude arrogant people

Beware

If you buy a majestic caravan ,please please check everything before you accept delivery, we had an insecure fridge , and washing machine with 2 brackets neither actually holding the washing machine securely, a water leak under bathroom sink, and a dented fridge door, made worse by their service department trying to repair it, Manager was very rude when we arrived to get repairs done, and they now refuse to fix fridge door Show details

Buyer beware

We bought a 21ft Knight Series 5 in 2016 and thought we had found the van for a lifetime.
All seemed well until year 3 when the paint on the checker plate started to peel off. No reply from Majestic.
Year 5 and the internal wall started to de-laminate. After a lengthy investigation it was found to have been leaking, not for a short time but (according to a written report from the repairer) since being manufactured. The result was a totally ruined or disintegrated timber frame on one side. We don't know about the rest of the van as it would be too costly to have it taken apart to inspect it and god knows how much to repair.
We are still waiting on a reply from Majestic. Show details

Stay away from Majestic vans

I purchased at off road van 2020 before Covid hit and it’s a lemon. Would definitely not recommend this brand of van as it is put together by monkeys . Every time we go on a trip we have so many problems. The list is endless, our lates free camp trip our van lost power even after being plug in for days. Also we went on dusty road and inside the van was covered in dust. When we pull apart the van we found holes that you could see the ground. I’ve just spent the whole week vacuuming out the dust and washing all my walls and cleaning out all the drawers. I’m so disappointed in my van , it has given us so much stress and grief. It has not been enjoyable.

Very Happy

We have had our Knight since August 2017 The only problem one water tank gauge not working that was repaired by Cory under warranty. This is our fourth van and by far the best and most stable to tow It is 21ft with Cruisemaster GT suspension. Staff at Caboolture are a pleasure to deal with Show details

We had a majestic pop top for a year thought it was ok till we traded it in there was water damage

Had a majestic pop top for a year thought it was a good van till we decided to trade it in. Water damage in both wardrobes. We didn't know till we took our clothes out you really have to check the outdoor seams as water can get in without you knowledge and you can be up for a lot of money so don't forget to check in the wardrobes.

Perfect for us

This van is our permanent home and it suits us to a t .The reason we bought this particular caravan is because the fit and finish is top quality . The Majestic staff at Caboolture are absolutely the best people to deal with . We have had the van for 12 months now and except for a small warranty claim , which was fixed perfectly and service done we couldn't be happier . We had researched many other brands for 2 years and settled for the best value for money . We would not hesitate to recommend a Majestic caravan to anyone . Love it .

Quality control

Had our Knight for just over a year now. It is what should be a magnificent caravan but we have been unfortunate enough to have numerous quality control problems, which is very disheartning. It is a very comfortable caravan to use and is quite easy to tow behind our LC 200 Landcruiser. I would suggest that anybody thinking about buying one to not allow the caravan to be registered until you have had a thorough examination of the quality control. Even with all the faults that have occured, I still think that the Majestic Knight is a good value for money caravan.

I have a 2011 majestic knight series 3 with a Truma hot water system. The hot water in the kitchen sink is very hit but the bathroom basin and shower are only warm. Can i adjust the temperature?
